I wear a size 9 in Altra's Lone Peak 5 and a size 9.5 in Nike's Zoom Terra Kiger 2's (Best trail shoe ever) and after initially ordering a size 9.5 in these new flagship trail runners from Saucony, I had to return them for a size 10 that fit perfectly. I hope that super specific sizing comparison helps somebody! The Endorphin Edge's have a sufficiently wide toebox like the other shoes mentioned, a snug fit without creating pressure points, and a smooth ride on the mostly technical mountain trails I run in the Phoenix area. So far I'm impressed. A better shoes than the Altra's in my opinion and close to the Nike's!

Love my new trail shoes! I haven't had my Endorphin Edge very long but already tested out steep uphills & steeper downhills, with leaf litter, with rocks & roots and these shoes are all that I wanted them to be. I've only done dry/slightly damp trails so far, not wet, but the lugs and outsole are very similar to my old peregrines. (Peregrines had excellent grip but I found they weren't comfortable for longer runs.) Happy to see that the Edge has a good classic saucony width like the old models. I didn't have to wait for wide width to become available. There's enough room for toes to splay. Also like the toe box height. No black toes on the downhills. Yay! And no weird stress points or rubbing or blistering yet. What else? Oh, excellent lockdown. Thankfully, the outsole is not as squishy as the endorphin speed 2 (which I have for road running). Out on uneven trails, I prefer a more rigid feel of the ground which gives me more control. The outsole is not super squishy but it's also not hard. It's a comfortable medium with excellent energy return. I really enjoyed my runs. You gotta try it out for yourself. Everyone has different feet and needs, but I've always loved the classic saucony fit. These did not disappoint. One last thing, I got mucho love on the ocean/loam colorway from other folks on the trail :)

The most comfortable trail shoe! The uppers are soft, stretchy, and breathable with room to spread my wide toes while still snug around my narrow heels. There is plenty of room for my orthotic and high arches after sizing up half a size as usual. Shoes are surprisingly lightweight with a bounce despite the rugged traction. Perfect for summer hikes while neutrally stylish enough in gray, black gold to wear in town while traveling. I found these more comfortable than Saucony Xodus Ultra 2. Also much lighter weight and softer than Adidas, my usual trail shoe. Worth the extra cost if you can afford them. I wish this style came in Gortex too.
I'd also recommend:

Wore these for a messy ultra straight out of the box! Normally would not recommend, and had an extra pair of shoes stashed in a drop bag just in case, but I was confident the fit would be great from other Saucony shoes I have - they did not disappoint. Did great on the extremely muddy sections and had good cushion and roll/turnover on the runnable sections. Performed well on the uphills and down! Didn't feel too high off the ground as I have with some other shoes with this much cushion- they performed well on the technical terrain as well; no fear of turning an ankle. They got trashed with mud right away (so much for the new shoe colorway) but held up really well (even after a wash)!

I LOVE these shoes! I use triumphs as my daily trainers on the road and peregrines for trails. I have a few Ultra races coming up and decided to grab these.. and I am SO happy that I did! First time wearing them was this past weekend on an 18 mile trail run- they were so incredibly comfortable, I didn't even have to think about my feet during it. I felt light on my feet, like I was just prancing along. And my legs still felt fresh at the end! I am definitely stocking up on these!

I have a very difficult time finding comfortable and supportive shoes for my arthritic feet. These shoes are perfect for walking and hiking and minimize outward rolling with the flared midsoles. They weigh nothing and are very nice looking too.

Bought these for icier days running outside. Happy with running with them on snow and ice. Could be even better if waterproof.

Cushion is amazing, and LOTS of room in the toebox. Felt a bit sloppy initially, I expect because I wasn't expecting so much room, but 6mi into a hot, sweaty trail, toes were still very happy. The Edge gripped on all surfaces of my usual trail (fine silty-dust, golf-ball-sized construction gravel, smooth boulders and jagged outcrops, steep slopes of either granite scree or sagebrush & tumbleweed. Fabric is perfectly breathable without having the mesh that collects foxtails & other stickers. Training for a double-half this fall, the Edge is my new fave shoe.

Perfect right out of the box. Bought a second pair to throw in a drop bag. Noticeable reduction in tiredness of legs.

This is a fast, pretty rigid (laterally) feeling shoe. The plate and cushioning really pops on firm, even surfaces and I think it's going to be great for all distances. It's less capable on rooty singletrack and rutted grassy ski trails where it's super easy to roll an ankle because of the lack of conformity to uneven ground. Also, they seem to run a bit wide/long. I'm having to cinch my laces almost all the way closed to get a lockdown in my usual size. I'm actually going to try a 1/2 size down to see if that helps with stability.

The shoe has a great feel and look, but my normal size is a 9.5 women, and it was too big. I suggest sizing down half of a size. I will fully review the product once I get my size exchange.

This shoe is still comfy and fits like a glove. The problem with comfy is with the cush it is easy to turn your foot or ankle, but the sleeve around your foot certainly helps stabilize it. I also found the shoe has a roomy toe box and pretty wide all around, which is great. I do wish that the wideness was only at the toe box because it is hard to tighten the laces up to keep you from rolling. But overall, I love this shoe because they are so comfortable and will good to give my feet a break.

Great support and tread. Pretty durable. I put roughly 40 miles/week on them - mostly on trails and they held up for about 9 months before needing replacing.

Nice lightweight trail runner, slips a little in the heel but lacing up higher helps that, I have narrow feet and high arches so that might be why my heel slips.

I am not a runner but I do a lot of adventures and these have been my favorite adventure shoes by far! They got completely submerged in the muddy jungles of Costa Rica and then rinsed off and dried off very easily, completely, and quickly! I have the black ones and you couldn't even tell they had been muddy. I wore them up to the summit of Half Dome and the top of Angel's Landing and the grip was perfect. I have done lots of desert hikes in them and it's true that the rough stone took off a piece of tread or two, but I have continued wearing them without a problem. I love the stow loop for the laces. They are very comfortable for me.
