Wore these for a messy ultra straight out of the box! Normally would not recommend, and had an extra pair of shoes stashed in a drop bag just in case, but I was confident the fit would be great from other Saucony shoes I have - they did not disappoint. Did great on the extremely muddy sections and had good cushion and roll/turnover on the runnable sections. Performed well on the uphills and down! Didnt feel too high off the ground as I have with some other shoes with this much cushion- they performed well on the technical terrain as well; no fear of turning an ankle. They got trashed with mud right away (so much for the new shoe colorway) but held up really well (even after a wash)!

I LOVE these shoes! I use triumphs as my daily trainers on the road and peregrines for trails. I have a few Ultra races coming up and decided to grab these.. and I am SO happy that I did! First time wearing them was this past weekend on an 18 mile trail run- they were so incredibly comfortable, I didnt even have to think about my feet during it. I felt light on my feet, like I was just prancing along. And my legs still felt fresh at the end! I am definitely stocking up on these!

I absolutely LOVE this shoe. Ive been incorporating the Edge into my weekly shoe rotation and feel so springy when I wear them. BUT it looks like the bottom of the shoe exploded and after less than a month of running with them (not daily), they are no longer usable.

I bought these a month ago, and I am sorely disappointed that I did! I loath these shoes! They felt too loose so I tightened them. Then, they hurt my feet. The ball of my foot hurt after one run. I enjoyed the road endorphins, so I thought maybe I would like these. NOOOO! There is a no use return policy, so I paid $200 for ONE awful run! I also called customer service to see if there were any options, maybe an exchange? Nope! Super bummed, and had no clue how much I would hate these shoes!

Ive been wearing Saucony shoes for years and I never had a problem with any of them until now. I return to Saucony because of the superb fit theyve given my very wide, flat, supponated feet. The first pair of pink endorphins was labeled 6 1/2 . It fit like an 8.5 extra wide so I returned them for a different pair. The second pair was a little shorter but still too long and too wide. Im very disappointed. It seems like the quality control on this shoe went out the window. I hope this is a one-time thing because Id hate to look for another brand of shoes after all this time.

I love the endorphin line! I have several pairs of saucony shoes but Id pass on these.
I run in the speed 3-4 times a week in the speed those are a 7.5 which is a half size up from my normal size and they fit perfect so I figured Id need the same size in the trail.
I bought the trail for a Colorado trip and I wore them for several hikes and trail runs. I couldnt get my heel to lock down. There was also way to much room in the shoes re- tie them - my foot was all over the place- painful! My feet were sore everyday! If these werent $200 I probably order a half size down and see how they work but Ill probably order another trail shoe after this experience.
The basalt color way is amazing!

Great shoe for running flats and up hill. The toe box is a lot roomier than how other Saucony shoes fit me. I usually like some room for protection and comfort but it feels like they overcompensated with this one. Maybe sizing down would of done the trick. 1. Even with tightening the laces my toes moved around a lot causing blisters. 2. Didnt feel nimble or in control as the shoe picks up with carbon plate because the toe box is so wide. 3. Long downhill sections both technical and non technical were painful since I couldnt get a good lock in with way to much slipping around.

I am a big fan of the Endorphin line and have worn nothing but the speeds, pro's, and pro+ for the past two years. I love how light they are and I have run injury-free (>55 miles per week) for that time. I have been looking for a good trail shoe, and the reviews on the Edge were encouraging. Unfortunately, I just do not love this shoe for the type of trail running I do. I run a lot of swampy/wet/uneven muddy terrain. These shoes are fine on pavement and packed sand, but once they absorb any amount of water they become extremely heavy. Once wet, the sole feels much stiffer which becomes uncomfortable when running over uneven terrain since there is little to no give underfoot. I started to notice a pain under my foot and behind my knee after 6 or so miles of those conditions. I have worn on a few trail runs to see if they would soften, but I still feel the same after about 70 miles in these shoes. I will keep these for my shorter trail runs (< 10 miles) on even, or packed-sand or rocky terrain (or hiking). For anything longer than 10 miles through ultra, I feel as if they are too heavy and not nimble enough for softer trail-terrain.

I had high hopes for this shoe. Sadly, it ran too wide and had less stability than the saucony Im used to wearing.

The color and fit were great but the tongues were small. That made for an awkward look and very uncomfortable fit. I returned them. Please make the next model with better tongues

I bought these for my daughter. She wore them three times. The heel (sole) of each shoe chipped. (about 1 inch of material) This exposed a styrofoam material in the sole. Really ugly and not at all what I paid for. Please contact me with details for a refund or replacement.

My first pair of Saucony did not disappoint. I ran 6 races with Endorphin Speed 3, so I decided to try a new pair which is these the Endorphin Edge. I am very disappointed with these sneakers. They run at least 1/2 to 1 size larger. I have about an inch of room in the front. I discarded the box before I tried them on, (thought they all ran the same) therefore did not return. Gave them a try for 1 run and my knees were in pain the next day. This doesn't happen with any other running shoes that I have.

I wore these walking and my ankles and knees hurt so bad, I called company and was told since they were worn outside there was nothing they could do.

I have been buying and LOVING Saucony shoes for years. This was my first time buying shoes online. From the moment I opened the box, I could see the shoe looked very small and of course was not even close to my size. I am guessing it is at least a size too small if not more. I ordered another pair of shoes that fit just fine.

The sole of this shoe is too hard; I wore twice and I was in pain from my legs straight to my neck. I love the appearance but it is way to hard on my feet.
I'd also recommend:
Anyone with a softer sole. Unfortunately, this one did not work for me. I would like to return it?

The appearance of this shoe is great; however, after wearing it for two different occasions I noticed that my legs were aching; the sole feels very hard and it doesn't work for me. I would like to return it because it is a shame that I paid $200 hoping to find a good pair of shoe but I am convinced that it does not work for me. The appearance is good, but it is definitely nor for me.
I'd also recommend:
Anyone with a softer sole.

It was unfortunately not the shoe for me. I love the endorphin road line, my daily runners are speed and pro depending on the workout.
These didn't fit right out of the box. I felt rubbing on the outside of my foot without even running. Also the higher stack and thicker foam felt unstable just walking around. Which I am used to with road shoes and carbon plate, but I couldn't imagine a rocky trail on an unstable shoe.
I sent them back of course. I wouldn't want anyone not to try them as they might be right for you, but just wasn't the shoe for me
