This is my 3rd pair of Excursions (my last ones were TR12). The heel pad on the TR16s smashes down when I put my heel in the shoe and I have to work it back up EVERY time I put my shoe on. It is a distraction if I don't fix it. I did not have this problem with the last 2 pairs. Otherwise, the shoe is great.

I bought Saucony Excursion TR16 about a few weeks ago. This is my 3rd pair. Love this brand of shoes, very light weight, comfortable. Saucony is my favorite brand! Wont where another brand.

These shoes are lightweight and surprisingly comfortable. I love the grippy bottoms and they don't look like orthopaedic runners.

This is my 3rd pair of Saucony TR wide, I love the grip I have while hiking on a trail be it sand, gravel or rock, I find the shoes very comfortable I take an 8 1/2 wide, the width gives my feet room to spread out in the shoe., Esspcially when walking on uneven ground such as rock . The only thing the manufacturer could do to improve this shoe is to bring the ruber on toe area up a bit more which would stop it from catching in the grass over sticks pulling the rubber toes away resulting in having to re glue the toe.

The Saucony brand never fails me. The reason I gave these shoes 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are available in Narrow. Like others, I am/was disappointed when Saucony stopped making all but one style in Narrow. Those of us with very narrow feet are struggling now. However, Saucony in Medium works for me with a few adaptations.

I really like my shoes. I just wish I would've ordered the wide. They're a little tight.

This Excursion TR16 Grey/Coral shoe feels very stiff and has no arch support. It also seems like the footbed insert is missing (compared to other Saucony's I've got which always have footbed inserts in the shoe).
I'd also recommend:
Usually Saucony's and Mizuno's

I used these shoes until they fell apart. They are very comfortable for a lot of different activities. I gave a lower rating because although they are extremely comfortable, the sole at the tip of the toe began to peel off within the first few weeks of owning them. It didn't change the functionality of the shoe but not ideal depending on the type of activity you do.

These are a bit narrow at the widest part of the foot on the lateral side(outside of foot). There is a little bit of sliding forward in the shoe. When I first tried them on and walked around they felt pretty good but after deciding to keep them and now wearing them all day. That slight pressure on outside of foot will probably annoy me. Too late to return. The traction is good on the shoe. The laces do slip easily when tying and the tongue does not stay in place which I find annoying as well. So overall the shoe doesn’t have that secure feel. These are my first ever saucony. I do not plan on running in these with how they fit.

First time ordering this brand and ordered my normal size 8 and they didn't fit. Need to return. Didn't save the Zappo box, so I'm hoping to get info on how to return without the box.
I'd also recommend:
Asics, Nike, Clark

Sizes in different shoes names in Saucony are half size different. Trumph 21 for me is 8 W, however, Excursion TR16 W size 8 is too long for me.

I wear size 8 1/2 M, but I usually get one size up for my sneakers because they fit perfectly with socks or if I need to add a little cushion. I ordered these shoes in 9M, but they’re a bit tight, even without the socks. Therefore, I didn’t walk or run in them and cannot review those points. This was my first time buying a Saucony. My apology for returning the shoes. Overall, I would say “runs smaller.”
I'd also recommend:
ASICS, Brooks, New Balance.

I have wide feet and these were roomy. Comfortable, but I like more ach support. Opted to keep a different brand because they were a better fit. These are a good looking shoe.

I am very disappointed in these shoes. They are attractive but very uncomfortable. When I put them on for the first time it felt as if my feet were attached to wooden boards with no cushioning and no flexibility. I couldn't imagine wearing them to the gym for workouts so they immediately went back into the box for return.

So wanted to love these shoes. Ordered 9W and the width is terrific but there is no cushion to these shoes. They don't roll front front to back and have NO arch support so it feels like walking on flat duck feet. More asian made cheap stuff, Saucony is just another cheap brand with zero care about the end user. It is so easy to put arch support into shoes and why NO ONE does it anymore is beyond me. These are going back. I do like the overall design of the shoe but these are not comfortable.

I bought this in a 9 wide. The length and width are true to size. My foot has too much wiggle room and it's not related to width and length. The insoles are glued in and don't provide much cushioning, the style seems to be require an additional insole for average volume feet.

These were suppose to be water resistant. Not. Even walking through a little wet grass leaves me with wet, cold toes.

I have been wearing Saucony's, and especially Excursion's since 2006. I've loved every version - until now. This was my go-to everyday shoe. Sturdy, supportive, comfortable. I have always had 2 pairs, one for inside, one for outside and when they wore out I just bought the next version. One of the reasons I've faithfully worn these shoes for 18 years is that I have a heel lift (due to scoliosis) that I have to wear - it is supposed to slip under the sole - this new version instead of a removable foam sole, it is a thinner sticky sole. I can lift it, but it left glue residue on my lift just from test fitting. Another reason, is that it supported my lower but not flat arches without pain - the new version of this shoe has a hard lump in slightly the wrong spot - I can only assume for arch support - except it's just painful for me, I don't now of it would wear down with time, but I have never before put on a new version of this shoe and have it hurt. I buy a wide, and have always appreciated the ability to get a black sneaker in a wide size, which this version still does, however they are narrower then past versions, more like a wider regular shoe then a true wide. I have compared them to the two older versions of this shoe that I have and they are significantly different, and unfortunately for the worse. Except for when I was pregnant and needed an extra wide, I haven't even bothered to try on other sneakers in 18 years. I don't know what to do now, because these are just not it.
