I have been wearing Saucony Triumphs for several years, I've probably owned around 50 pairs. I think the 20 is by far the worst version of the Triumph model. I've purchased 3 different pair this year and they have all had different issues. The sole of the first pair began pealing off 3 days after I purchased them. This type of thing happens, so I glued them back together. That pair of shoes has now been glued more than 5 times. I had the second pair for about a month and maybe 50 miles just walking around in them before the upper began separating from the midsole. I've been breaking in the last pair for a couple weeks but they have a hard spot in the sole that has bruised the ball of my foot so I'll probably recycle them and buy something different.

Bought a month ago and get blisters on my heel everytime. The heel is a hard material with little to no cushion. Have put in around 20 runs with them, but no sign of them breaking in. I do like the support it provides on the bottom, but can't run more than 4 miles without painful blisters forming.

Triumph 20 was a highly anticipated shoe for my triathlon training and run races of 5-15k. Unfortunately it did not measure up to performance expectations considering the price. It looks awesome for sure, but for me it ended there. I put them on for a quick 10k and immediately my heel would not lock down and blisters formed after 5k. Doesn't happen in my other brand. The heel cup is too narrow and shallow. Tightening the laces enough to cause forefoot pain was not enough to keep the heel in the shallow and narrow cup. Additionally, the heel cup fabric has seems on the medial and lateral sides of heel cup, causing immediate discomfort and friction. The foam was soft but so soft in the heel that a lazy heel-strike gait was encouraged, inhibiting my speed and exacerbating the heel friction and growing blisters. At 5k I decided to run on my toes the rest of the 10k session and promptly removed them. Have to return but the box is recycled and Saucony's policy states unworn only. Too bad. 5'8" and 135lb athlete 10K PR 39:01

Hardly any cushion in the shoe. The product was unexpectedly bouncy. The bounciness caused pain in my worn knees.

I bought these because I love the Triumph 18. These have uneven support and your feet roll inwards. I cannot wear them. Wasted too much money. Going back to On shoes. Absolutely hate these shoes.

Completely disappointed, and have lost confidence in the brand. Have been running in Saucony for years and are normally my go to brand for daily trainers and racing. Not anymore!! The brand-new pair of Triumph 20's I bought for my long run training. Thought they felt a little off balance but decided to complete my long run in them because I had just purchased. Well, ended up tearing my Achilles during the run and was sidelined for the last 8 weeks and missed out on my marathon for Memorial Day. Convinced myself I was just getting old, and my running days were over. Just for mental sake, I put the shoes back on today to see how they felt, and same feeling of being off balance. I decided to put the shoes on a level surface and measure, but as you can see from the photos, no need to measure. Visually different heights!!! This is clearly a quality issue which you need to fix Saucony!!

First time running in these (got them in the mail this morning). After only 4 miles I have blisters along the outside edge of my toes. I've only ran in Nikes up to this point and have never had this problem.

While this shoe performs well and is very comfortable, the glued seams started to split after three days of normal wear.

Shoes are comfortable, but poorly made. I initially took a partial refund for a toe box dent which is permanent but tolerable, then they failed even more. The soles on both shoes have separated after just 3 weeks of ownership! Mind you I am not an avid runner by far and have a desk job, yet these weren't up to the task. At 6', 230lbs, I don't think weight had anything to do with it. Just cheap glue at the factory. Really disappointed in Saucony. Zappos has been great to work with, but will never own or recommend Saucony again.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Asics, Brooks

I bought these shoes 2 months ago and the bottom spilt in half. I have never had a pair of shoes do this. Awful quality for such a high price tag!

Saucony has always been dependable to order online, because their sizing was consistant except for this time. I always order a 9.5, wide or extra wide if they have it. This shoe feels like a 9, or even smaller. The stretchy material makes it a little forgiving if not for that I couldnt wear them at all. The soles feel cheaply made (thin). I wont be purchasing shoes again online.

I almost run exclusively in Saucony. Went through 2 pairs of Triumph 18s, wore them to the bones. Some said they were heavy and clunky, but they were perfect for me. I was excited for the 20s to come out, heard great reviews about them. But I've never been more disappointed. Every step feels like you're running through 5 inches of mud. Absolutely no energy return. I have about 70km through 5 runs, so they should be broken in by now. Every run is a struggle. I use them for easy runs and have been running paces I've never run before. This shoe is SLOW. I end my runs more exhausted than I should for east days. Stay away.
