The material is heavy, inflexible, coarse, not stretchy, and hot. Just not comfortable at all. But it fits well.

I have worn LLBean chambray shirts for many years, but these don't measure up. After reading some of the previous reviews I see that I'm not the only one to be dissatisfied. I have been very disappointed in the fabric. It's more like wearing canvas. I've washed these shirts a number of times, but they don't seem to soften up at all. If that's not bad enough, they look terrible coming out of the dryer. Wrinkled is the key word here. Ironing them at least makes them presentable, but you still feel like you're wearing cardboard.

I needed to reorder this shirt in an extra large after originally getting a large. The LL Bean sizes are all over the place. I've only worn this shirt twice but I'm finding it is very stiff and so far not very comfortable. Hoping it gets softer with use.

Even using fabric softener and coming out of the dryer this shirt is full of wrinkles. Expected better from L.L. Bean. I have always been happy with my purchases until now.

The shirt is stiff and when washed is not good looking. Will never buy another one.

Very uncomfortable! The material is far too thick and wrinkles so much. They should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a poor quality shirt.

Don't know how the shirt is because it was never delivered. LL Bean took my order in store and then cancelled it a few days later saying it was unavailable. Very disappointing as I now have no shirt and can't get back to the store to find something else.

Sleeves are way too long. Tried large and medium. Too expensive only to have to alter them.

I bought this shirt and really wanted to love it but it didn't work out. It was very thick like a winter shirt. Beautiful colors but it went back!!

Great looking shirt. Great fabric. Problem is the sleeves are way, way too short for a size Large Tall. Looking at your Tall size chart for shirts the sleeve length is 35-36". Too short! I have bought my husbands shirts from LLB for years and in the past there was never a problem with sleeve length. What gives?

Wrinkles more than any shirt I've purchased from L.L. Bean. Very stiff material.

wrong item sent; no replacement available. This shirt material is sturdy and the pink in the plaid great for brightening up your man, but it is thicker for the hot muggy summer days. We didn't get to try because we ordered a tall and got a regular and they didn't have anymore that would fit him.

I was surprised that this shirt got good reviews. The only thing nice about it is the color. The fabric is thick and stiff, not comfortable, the length of the sleeves and the body are too short.
