Had to return due to being a whole size too large. Disappointing that I had to pay the $6.50 return fee on top of that. Not sure I'll order again since it the weight wasn't as lite as I was expecting.

This shirt was sent to me as a birthday present. My only problem with the shirt was the size, I typically buy xtra large which was sent to me. The shirt was way beyond xtra large, I had to return it and get a large which in my opinion is the same as all the other xtra large shirts that I own.

This shirt is labeled as Untucked Fit, however it's the same length as every other shirt I have from ll bean that aren't described as Untucked. I'm not sure then what Untucked means, if it's not the length then what is it?

The fit and style is great, but the fabric is a bit too stiff! It just doesn't have the softness and flexibility that a true 100% Cotten material use to have! Seems like various additives have been added to natural materials today.

I've worn LL Bean's classic blue chambray shirts for many years and I like them a lot. When I could not find any of those on the Bean website recently, I bought this shirt instead. The fit is excellent. The check pattern is great looking. My disappointment is in the fabric itself. It is heavier and stiffer than the chambray I am used to. Moreover, after being laundered, this shirt cannot be worn until it is ironed. That was never the case with my previous chambray shirts.it's good that this item was added to the chambray shirt line, but it is unfortunate that it replaced a classic shirt that I had hoped would be available forever.

The style, color and fit were excellent; however, my husband and I both feel the material is too stiff. It is a somewhat heavy material for the hot and humid climate we live in.

Color different than shown in ad. Material is heavy which is okay for colder climates but not the South.

The shirt is beautiful, but this is definitely not an easy care garment. You better own an iron or have a wife from the 1950s.

Shirt is extremely short but not a true un-tuck it. Out of the wash and dry it must be ironed. Collar and the placket roll and bunch. Definitely not wash and wear. First Bean shirt I have owned so poorly made.

Pretty shirt, but it is too heavy for summer, and has to be ironed to be worn. Just awful.

The shirt is definitely a thicker fabric than I thought it would be. You'll need your iron for sure.

There is no stretch in this shirt. The material is thick and stiff.

Had hoped this would work, but LL bean sizing assumes if you are tall, you must also be big. Lg is too big for a slender man, but the sleeve length was good. Iwe can't exchange for a medium, which would fit a slender torso, because the sleeve length loses more than an inch when you go down in size. Likewise, if you buy an XL it XXL in a regular size, the sleeves are way too long. LLBean! Not everyone who is tall is big and not everyone who is big is tall!! Returning.

I've had this shirt for about a month and the buttons are falling off. I really like the shirt, but for $70 I expect this Sri Lankan made shirt to last.

The fabric is way too heavy for a short sleeve shirt. The color was MUCH darker than it appears. I had to return it for a refund.

The guys in my family didnt like the heaviness that the stretch fabric brought to a summer shirt. We live in a hot and humid area and stretch fabrics tend to be hotter here.

Was very disappointed in this shirt. I have washed it three times and it is nowhere near soft. It is a very stiff and rough material. For the money this was a terrible purchase

Lovely shirts. Great colors. Comfortable material. Hard to get size right. Large was really Large. Medium was good until it was washed. Buttons were pulling after that. I could see it wouldn't work. I give up. Free returns with the LL bean credit card!

The shirt looks really nice on the rack, but it fits like a tent.

Nice looking shirt, but the material is uncomfortably stiff, even after washing. Also, the "traditional fit" is like a tent and there's no other fit option. I've had ponchos with better drape, and I'm 6-2 180 lbs so not some weird body type. Will be returning. I'll give it 2 stars only because it is nice looking and I guess for some heftier guys it would fit ok.

These shirts are a bit scratchy, I wish LL Bean would offer Tall short sleeve Oxford cloth shirts like they used to have.
