Fabric heavier weight than expected. Not really much shorter for a shirt to be worn untucked. But fine quality and details, just not something I would buy again.

Quality shirt and fabric, but runs way too large. Practically swimming in a size medium.

Shirt looks good, but is very wrinkley. Nice colors.

The fit is much too boxy; I needed something slimmer. The material is also quite heavy--not great for the desert Southwest.

Good looking shirt. Unfortunately, the shirttail is just too short for me.

Expected a lighter weight shirt - this one too heavy for wearing this time of year.

The quality of the chambray is not as good as it used to be. I have liked the traditional styling and high quality fabrics. The shirt was returned.

Has to be ironed after wash and dry. Would be better without button down.

This shirt needs to be ironed, so if you would rather not iron an everyday shirt, you will be disappointed, too.

This shirt may be the most expensive shirt I have ever bought from LL Bean, but it is not the best one I ever got from LL Bean. The shirt is well made and is very comfortable. It can be worn either tucked in or untucked. It appears to look fine either way. My disappointment is the shirt's failure to be wrinkle resistant. This shirt requires ironing. Over the last decade or so, virtually all my other Bean shirts look great right out of the dryer. Not this one. If you like to iron shirts, go for this one. But I won't buy another.

This shirt was heavier weight than anticipated. Too heavy for summer. Admittedly Im often between sizes LG or XL. XL Traditional Fit is just too big.

I was expecting "traditional" styling, but these shirts have oddly long and wide sleeves. They don't look right.

Sizes are all smaller that traditional fits. Have to return everything although my height and weight have not changed. Don't like to buy from Bean anymore. Why not Keep M as a real M and let men buy smaller size if they want tighter fit? Very disappointed.

cheaply made and obvious to others. Quality control of LLB missed on this one. I would not purchase this shirt again. In fact, I donated it to a local charity.

This shirt is more like a Polo shirt with buttons. I wear a large in all my LL Bean shirts and this one was so small it barely went over my head. Material was not what I expected for a cotton shirt .returned

I miss the lighter blue version of this shirt. I bought both the current colors but rarely wear them as I find the colors unattractive.

Fit was fine but hate the fact the shirt has to be ironed. First chambray shirt I ever bought that needs to be ironed. Doesn't have the soft feel of the no-iron chambray shirts.

Where is the chambray shirt of the past? The fabric is stiff, more like a thin canvas. The color is not the subtle blue of a few years ago. There's a button on the pocket that is either useless or worse. The pleat that was centered in the back is gone, and there are two now by each shoulder. Maybe after a dozen washings it will begin to feel familiar, but why do you take an extremely popular shirt and change it, or just stop making it and replace it with another product under the same name? Perhaps you cannot get the cotton fabric anymore? If so, try again. Surely there are farms in the US still growing quality cotton, and an underused mill that can produce the cloth? The bottom line is that this is a disappointment and not a replacement for a well worn one I have in my closet. I'll be looking at catalogs in the future in the hope you'll do better next time.

Not a comfortable shirt to wear and the breast pocket was sewn with the button hole sewn to the button so it wouldn't open unless you took off the button and resewed it corrrectly.

Shirt did not fit, no free return makes it difficult to justify sending the shirt back. Super frustrating experience
