Shirt seems thicker than most flannel shirts sold at big chain stores

on wearing my husband said this shirt fit wonderfully well, and was nice and warm

Appears to run smaller in the arms and neck area...

Soft and warm just as advertised. I like it so much I bought one for my father in law.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. It looks great on him and best of all, he loves it.

Purchased a couple flannel shirts from LL Bean in November, and they were so good, I am up to 14 total a few weeks later and will check again next fall 100%. Would recommend to all, a must have.

My husband says this is his favorite shirt. We originally bought the XL slim fit but sent it back for the Lg Slim Fit and it is perfect. Sizing is tricky and not always the same with different sellers.

Fits well and so soft and comfortable. The pattern isn't too bold.

This is a classic. It is a bit more muted colors than the classic Royal Steward Plaid....as the red is a bit more brick/burnt orange/red...than french/fire engine red. Yet this color variation makes it feel vintage and faded in straight out of the package. Love it. I will say that LL Bean's Slim Fit is not that slim. It's basically not oversized like a non slim fit must be, but it's far from skinny like a younger brand may be. At 6'1 190lbs, the size Large shirt is plenty loose on me. And the length is great (not short for my height like many flannels can be).

Went with XLT based on other reviews noting that LT sleeves were short. Normally wear LT slim fit or MT in LLB shirts and after washing and drying, the flannel XLT slim sleeve length is good and the torso isn't too blousy or long.

This flannel shirt is very well made. The colors are beautiful and the fabric is ultra soft. They come out of the clothes dryer looking good. The most important feature for me is that the sleeves are more than long enough. I'm 6'1" tall and need a minimum 35" sleeve. These shirts pass that test.
