I have other flannel shirts and they always feel too large. I'm a smaller guy (5' 9") with a slim build (145 lbs.). No matter where I buy a shirt, I always am sized as a regular medium, and it's always too much material. Not this shirt; it fits great!

The most comfortable, best fitting flannel I've ever had. Super soft and the colors are great. Looks great with jeans or khakis.

The best flannel at a reasonable price. This pattern, Grey Stewart, wasn't available in a women's version this year, so being in love with the pattern I got a Men's Small Slim. A little baggy, which is how I like it. I'm 5'4" and 95 lbs!

I'm 5'11 and slim, 155 lbs. The slim fit small fits me well. I like a trim look so I usually order smalls, though other men my size may prefer a medium, a bit more roomy. The material is nice and substantial without being stiff and thick. The texture and color held up nicely in the first 2 washes I've put it through so far.

This is not my first purchase of the Bean flannels,that should indicate how much I like them! They handle laundry beautifully and the tailoring makes the look very dressy for such a casual fabric.

Bought this for my husband who dislikes plaid and is always cold. Well, he is now a plaid flannel convert. It washes up well. I take it out of the dryer when still slightly damp and finger press then hang to dry. The slim cut looks good on my skinny guy. He says it's warmer than a long sleeved tee. I'm going to get two more for him.

This shirt looks great and fits well. I'm 5'8" and weigh 155 and the medium slim fit is perfect. The shirt is well constructed and the weight of the flannel is perfect. I love this shirt and you will too.

I ordered two of these shirts for an upcoming engagement photo shoot (along with the cotton/cashmere sweaters) and these shirts have single-handedly convinced me that I am a flannel guy! I got so many complements while wearing it, I think I may buy the whole ensemble! The fit is EXACTLY as described - a slim fit. L.L. Bean's "traditional" fit (as in their unshrinkable tees) is a little bit looser in the arms and around the midsection, so be aware of that if you are buying. But if you're younger, it might be just what you're looking for. Regardless, the shirt is of obvious quality: soft, thick, and warm. Since receiving them, I have been comparing other flannel and have found myself wanting to save my money to buy more L.L. Bean flannel. I firmly believe that I could sleep in it. Tonight, I just might!

LL Bean flannel shirts are the best out there, and the only ones that fit right. I am tall and thin and the LT fits me perfect. The material is thick and warm. They wash and dry very nice.

Nice colors, good detail--button holes, etc, and real cotton flannel feel.
