The collar is too high and looks strange to me; wish it were lower as item is beautiful

I've had two of the airlight garments (a vest and a pullover) and on all of them the seams along the bottom of the vests and pullovers come loose after just a couple of wears. The quality of the materials is also poor as they start to pill after just one wash. Would not recommend this particular vest.

For a tall size, this was incredibly short. It was also much wider than a typical large. Overall unhappy with the fact that I had to pay for the return on something that was very far off the disruption.

My husband loves it and often wear but wash it 3or 4 time. The strip from waist are very worth!

Very expensive compared to more lux brands for what you get. It is light weight. Sizing is way off. Short and baggy. So odd I have never bought LLBean and likely won't again but thought I would give it a shot. Love the color and the collar on it but everything else falls short and to pay 60/70 for it. Nah I'm good.

Was excited because of the tall sizing but I think a tall medium was shorter than most regular mediums. Very short in the torso.

Seam came off at the wrist leaving a hole. This was in the first week of casually wearing it. Disappointed because I heard this was a well made brand.

We loved this. It fit and looked great but the stitching around the waste just tore off after a few wears. It had only been washed and air dried twice. It was a gift in September so we are stuck. So sad. We did love it.

I love the air light sweatshirts, as I own 3!!! Very disappointed in the quality of the ll bean product and customer service. For the first time a bean product failed me, 3 weeks past a year the stitching at the wrist came apart. For $70 I'd expect more and I expect more from LL customer service.

When I took the pullover out of the package today my wife said it looks huge. I thought the same - and it is. I own 3 others in this style, all large regular and each fits perfectly. This one really is huge, the sleeves come down to my fingertips and if I weighed about 100 lbs more, the body of the pullover might fit. Very disappointed and it will be on the way back to bean tomorrow.

Love how it looks, so I bought my normal size. Put it on in the morning and it fit like I was wearing a girls ruffled hem shirt to conceal my stomach. I'm a regular size 6 foot guy at 192 lbs and it is way short and roomy.

I absolutely loved everything about this pullover. It was the perfect top for fall in New England. However, within a week of wearing, I noticed an imprint in the fabric running from my left shoulder down toward my right abdomen. It was a seat belt "burn" that was permanently pressed into the fabric. Nothing could get it out, not rubbing, washing--nothing. I'm getting ready to return it now.

The fit was tight for me because I lift weights but the real issue for me is Arthritis in my right hand. It was too painful to button the collar, if it were zippered I just would have gotten the next size up and lived happily ever after.

The pullover barely made it to my waist. It was like it shrunk in the wash before I ever received it. It did not even cover the large t-shirt I had on under it when I first tried it on. It is also very loose in the back so it was not a comfortable fit. The funny thing is that it was actually a little long on the arms. So the fit is perfect for someone with 6'2'' person's arms but a 5'9'' person's torso. Had to return it and lose money on the shipping fee because that is their policy.

Didn't even waste the time to try it on. Material was so flimsy plus poor quality made the return a no-brainer. The only reason I checked the fit was "true to size" was because it was a requirement from LL Bean in order to complete this review.

I ordered the XL tall. The fleece fell barely below my belt line which isn't terrible. The worst part is that the arms are very long and baggy. It's like the arms were from a tall fleece, but the torso was from the regular. I would exchange it for a regular XL, but given how short the torso is in the tall, I imagine it'll be above my belt in the regular. Really like the look and feel of this fleece but it's a pretty poor fit unless you have ape arms (this coming from someone with very long arms).

I am a longtime fan of Bean products and in the past always found the sizing true to fit. In the past couple of years I am noticing more qualifiers of "slightly fitted". I'm on the average size and am finding clothing too tight for comfort. Have returned several items over the past two years because of the fit being too tight for true comfort. My impression during numerous travels is mature guys are probably the largest customers of Bean clothing items and question this move to fitted clothing.

Arrived and surprised that the fit was too small. Generally wear Medium and the fit across the chest was too small and length seemed off too. Will return for larger size, but not sure that will fix the problem. Disappointed.
