Excellent fit (5'10" 160# in Medium). Good weight and material. Warm and comfortable for a base layer. Just bought four more (8 total) to rotate a clean one every day after gym. Highly recommend.

Bean's midweight base layer tops certainly serve their warming purpose on midwinter excursions such as hiking in Zion or wandering around Stonehenge, but I also use them as pajama tops in the desert climate where I live when winter lows are just plain cold, especially after our hot summer months, when clothing is unnecessary. This new version of midweight fabric is noticeably softer and still has the stretchiness that makes these garments so comfortable.

Exactly what I expected, good quality and a nice fit. I was a little unsure about the thumb holes at the ends, but if you don't use them they lay perfectly flat and you don't notice they are there at all.

Perfect fit & comfort. Unlike the murano wool base, this shirt fits great and isn't too short.

Best base layer I have had that wasn't wool. Wicks moisture away and keeps you warm. The thumb holes are nice for active use. I am buying another.

I like these base layers to wear by themselves. They are cool enough to wear around the house and warm enough to be keep you toasty with a shell or jacket over them. L.L. Bean never disappoints.

I bought this as a gift for my fiance as I own a few of the women's version of this midweight base layer and absolutely love them. This did not disappoint. It fits true to size, maybe a hair snug/fitted but not tight. The green color is a nice shade. I plan to buy more.
