I bought this "unshrinkable" shirt last month and the quality is excellent accept it is NOT unshrinkable" as advertised. After the 2nd wash I thought it had shrunk a bit, but after the 3rd wash, I was sure it shrunk. It is currently still wearable, but certainly a bit snugger than when newly purchased.

I bought my husband four of these traditional fit henley tees in September, 2021. He has loved them and still wears them all the time. He liked the thick cotton fabric and longer length. New colors arrived so I bought him two more of these shirts in May, 2023. I am sad to say that the quality of the shirt has gone downhill. The fabric is much thinner which causes nipple see-thru and the length is now shorter so it doesn't stay tucked into his pants. He is very disappointed. I bought him an XL both times and the body of the shirts still fit fine. We won't be buying anymore of these from LL Bean when we can get the same cheap quality elsewhere for less money.

Runs very large. Men's Small is more like a Medium and because they don't shrink, you can't go any smaller. The fit is also relaxed and boxy vs. form fitting. It's not a particularly flattering cut. However, the materials are good and the price is very low.

Great fit, and very grateful they are available in Medium Tall. A great casual and versatile t-shirt that can be part of a minimalist wardrobe.

For a t shirt they're way too heavy for warm months. I'm not happy with this purchase at all. Just a heavier material than anticipated.

This particular shirt has been my go to shirt. However my most recent purchase came out of the washing machine a wrinkled mess!

I like the Henley from LL Bean but they do shrink. Not horribly but noticeably. Not enough to buy a size up but enough to become uncomfortable.

The neck band does not lay flat. And it is not very soft. I wish it was made with the pima cotton. But, as advertised, it did not shrink.

These are a reasonable quality shirt when you can get them. LL Bean is literally months behind on their ability to fill orders. I like these shirts, but have had to cancel orders because of months long delays. I don't need long sleeve shirts in the summertime, nor short sleeve shirts for winter. I'll be looking for other suppliers who can deliver in a timely fashion.

Love the shirts as I cannot find the fit and quality here in Mexico where I live. Negative side of the shirt is it doesn't breathe well as I feel sweaty most of the time. It does hold it's shape and doesn't shrink. The colors are not what are offered as they are a bit different either brighter or darker...

I ordered six Henley shirts and receive the one above in timely fashion. I have been notified the other five will not arrive until late August or September. I have been dealing with Bean for years but this is totally unacceptable.

Daughter said it looks like pajamas. If I tuck it in it's fine. Very soft and well made though, just not crazy about it. Might grow to like it more.

Well my husband wears XL tall. He loves the fit and material but what he does not like is the button collar it does not stay flat. He would rather have a v neck like you made before!

My husband has worn these henleys for years. Very disappointed that they are no longer available in white and that the fit is much slimmer.

Bought two of these and wore them at home in Colorado. They were okay.
Took them with me to San Antonio in May and they were NOT comfortable!! They didn't breathe and sweat just soaked me in 85 degrees and Texas humidity. Don't buy if you live in a hot humid climate.

My husband has several of these shirts and he loves them. However, I ordered the new burnt orange color (don't remember the official color name right now) and when it arrived and I opened the green bag, I could not believe my eyes!
The seam that attaches the neck piece to the top of the shirt was not sewn down so that the seam ends on both sides stuck out beyond the neck opening. You could see this while still folded in the clear bag.
I called customer service, asked the man to bring up a picture of the shirt on his computer, which I think he did, and I explained why this particular shirt was
such a complete mess. He agreed and asked me to send the shirt back and I would be refunded all my charges. And as usual, LL Bean did what they said they would do!
I had no intention of reviewing this one shirt because it was so 'off' that I was going to chalk it up to a one time issue. But I have had repeated emails asking me to review this shirt that I thought to myself...why not?
I gave the shirt 3 stars instead of 1 because this shirt is usually a big ole 5...but sometimes things just happen.
I plan on ordering the same shirt again towards the end of March or April.

The regular size in the traditional fit loooks short and conical with tight armholes that show my middle when I raise my arms. Talls fit better in around the arms and generally hang better, making it tempting to pay the big price increase to get a tall for a relatively short guy. The fabric is a bit heavy for summer in Florida.

I have some of these from years past that I love. Ordered just one to see if the other reviews were accurate before I bought 4-5 more.
Followed instructions for wash/dry and after first wash it wrinkled up like a prune!
I won't be buying the others that I wanted.

Material is different. I have been buying these shirts for years but this version feels heavier and doesn't breathe. Too warm for summer wearing and short sleeves aren't great for winter. I guess its a fall and spring shirt.
