My husband needed long sleeve t-shirts for tennis and I prefer going online to driving to the stores even though lots of times I end up missing out on bargains. LL Bean has been our our go to for decades and sure enough C. is very pleased with the shirts and started wearing them right away. We know they will last. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because the sleeves are way too long and it's not worth it to have them professionally shortened. I suppose from the POV of the retailer it's better than they be too long than too short.

Nice weight t-shirt for our harsh winters here in the Houston area.

Although it is a good product, Bean no longer offers this shirt with a pocket. This limits it's attractiveness and usability

Have ordered a total of 5 of these shirts. Like the shirt, the comfort the wear and generally everything about them.

Note LLBean requires a recommend yes/no. I chose no as the better choice but I answer is really a maybe. I generally like these. I bought them for cooler weather, and in particular for bicycle riding at this time of year. They keep me nice and warm inside and I'd say very comfortable. I have 2 (or maybe 1 1/2) issues. The main issue is the neck is too close. I can feel it and that bothers me a little. Others might not be bothered. It's a little better when I'm wearing my fitbit as that pulls it away a bit. My other 1/2 issue is the size of the sleeve. It's a tad short (even though this is the tall size), but that's not a deal breaker. It's also tight enough so you can't really roll up your sleeves if you want to. I couldn't expose enough arm for the nurse to stick me for my flue shot last week. But those are minor annoyances. I have switched to the henley version and like that better as I leave it open. As near as I can tell, they are identical other than that. I do wish LLBean offered a pocket henley version.

Having a tall sizw of an shirt is always great! I would love to see this in organic cotton as well.

I just received this shirt and am thinking I'll return it because it is so light weight; I would never call this a sweatshirt because it's more like a long-sleeved T-shirt. If you want a heavy sweatshirt, don't buy this one.

Great fit and feel. I have bought several of these in the past and they do not shrink. My only negative is that the neck portion does not lie flat..kind of ripples after washing and drying even though I dry on medium heat. I also have the same issue with the short sleeve tshirts. A few years ago I did not have this issue so not sure what happened.

I need to take full responsibility. They were not as bright white as I was hoping. I could have returned them however using them as work tees.

I always order these for my husband. Normally I would give a 5 start but gave a 4 which I could have done a 3. I ordered 3 white long sleeve tees and one came with several black marks on the front. I am sure I could call and send it back but I am trying to scrub and bleach these out. I was very surprised to see this leave your warehouse.

Ordered the white unshrinkable l/s tee for my husband to wear under the sweater I got him for Christmas. The tee is nice, fits well, good weight, but it isn't quite white...more like an off white. I almost sent it back but decided not too. I'm sure the colored tees are fine, but I feel like the little bit of tee that shows under the sweater looks like it's an old, slightly yellowed tee. I won't buy another one of these in white.

I had one of these shirts for over 10 years that fits perfectly and it is still in great condition. I ordered two more and the fit on them is inconsistent between the two. One has really big upper arms and tiny lower arms so it squeezes around my wrists. They both seem to be more billowy in the body than my old one as well. Material is comfortable though and seems like a decent shirt.

I love the quality of these shirts. I have 4 of them total. However, this latest purchase was of a white shirt. And as other reviewers have stated, it is a dingy white right out of the package. I wear white all cotton dress shirts and when held up next to one of them the L.L. Bean white tee looked almost beige.

These are a great quality tee shirt!! Fabric is soft and doesn't shrink. Bought for my husband and he loves them. BEWARE of the white though. This color "yellowed" up horribly and became quite dingy. Bleach does not help and even tried soaking it in a product that is supposed to remove dinginess and yellowing in whites and it would budge out of the fabric. So strange. Otherwise, love this shirt!

...but I wish it came in a fitted cut. It's a little tent-like for slim guys.

This is a nice shirt, but beware, the Bering Blue color shown on the website is misleading as it appears to be a bright blue but in reality is a darker blue.

It's hard to be critical of this item but, in my opinion, they are sized way too big.

These are very nice shirts that tend to run almost a full size large. I bought size large and think a medium would fit. Be aware that the color is not coal black, but rather more of a charcoal.

As advertised, good quality, good fit, good colors

This is a nice, soft and well-made t-shirt. Stains aren't prominent and seem to come out easily. However, these do shrink. Unsure how others have been able to wash & dry without shrinking "up." The length of sleeves is ok, but the length of the shirt overall seems to have come up approx. 2 inches after about 5-6 washes. So, if length isn't a real concern at first, imagine it with a couple of less inches. Overall, will buy again but will go for tall if the length will change that much,

Long-sleeve tee shirt (white and gray) without pocket fits well with ample sleeve length for medium to long arms (33"-35"). Manufactured in Vietnam. Care tag doesn't have English care text; French & asian.

Neck a little tight- (I'm a thin guy). But nice on the sleeves as they can be pushed up. Sometimes you just need a long sleeve tee.

Very comfortable Tee Shirt. It did not shrink during initial wash and it retained its color well. One of my favorite Tee's for the weekends. I do wish it was made with a little thicker material and the sleeves were more loose fitting. Overall, I'm pleased with this shirt.

Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the cotton is stretchy so it must have some polymers in it. Makes it static'y compared to normal 100% cotton. Fits true to size.

somebody gives me an answer, please! as for TA224603-unshrinkable shirts, I have been happy with V-neck style over a couple of decades because with V-neck, nothing squeezes my neck and can breathe easily. can anybody tell me why you stopped offering V-neck and about when you will start offering V-neck again? I hope I am not the only one who wants V-neck.
