Don't believe what you read this shirt did shrink where I cannot wear it again.

I thought these would be exactly like their "cousins", the Henley and mock turtleneck, but they're not. The material is different and the fit is a bit weird. I bought a black one. I also have a black Henley and mock turtleneck. The Tee's version is a lint magnet, it picks up everything. Don't have that problem with the "cousins". The fit is strange as well. Though relaxed, the armholes must be higher than they are on the "cousins", which, btw fit pretty much the same. I was disappointed and am considering returning it.

I ordered one in MMedium--it was so huge like a large. Then I ordered a MSmall--It also was not only huge but poorly designed: very tight cuffs, tight neck but huge wide arms with one arm much larger than the other. Very wide and billowy across the back, huge, but tight at the bottom.The whole shirt was much larger than a mens small and the proportions completely off. I spent $26.00 on back and forth shipping for 2 very inferior products. I am disgusted and will shop at a more reputable company. I used to buy a lot from Bean but in recent years have been disappointed in designs of clothing. I cant count on he size or quality of design.

Too big Made for an old man not stylish nor flattering nor fitting

This shirt is certainly not unshrinkable, and I can't understand why it is labeled as such. This shirt shrank immediately upon being washed and was way too small to even consider using after. The length on both the body and sleeves was several inches too short. Additionally this medium tall sizing was not consistent with other LL Bean products which either did not have this problem and continued to fit well, or were way too big.

Even the small size wears like a tent with billowing arms and excessive drape around the body. Not a good choice for even moderately slender people. Also the black color is a bit light and not a true black. Returning.

I have been buying shirts from LL Bean for a long time. This is the first time I have been disappointed. They in fact did shrink. The sleeves shrunk to well above his wrists and the length is too short.

I bought this and a short sleeve version based on the many positive reviews. Maybe if you wear a small size, they are okay. They certainly seem like well made shirts of nice material, but I felt like I was being strangled. I have never tried a shirt with such a constricting neck. Now I have to pay $6.50 to return it for the privilege of just trying on one of their poorly cut shirts. It doesn't make me want to order from LL Bean again.

I ordered a Large. Shirts was too large for my size, 6', 170lbs, better for larger body Fellows.

Purchased a medium tall and the sleeves are too short! The body length of the tall is great but the sleeves don't work. It felt like a regular long sleeve shirt, not a tall long sleeve shirt.

This should be exactly the same as others I have ordered XL tall but, instead of being a comfortable loose fit, it is skin tight and accentuates my various unsightly bulges. I checked the label again and again and it is the same as on my other comfortable shirts but the shirt itself is hard to get on and very different to the others.

Fades fast, not really black. Good quality shirt but very expensive and strange color.

I've been buying these shirts for many years and in the past few months, I've noticed that all of the new shirts I have purchased are shrinking. The shrinking is especially bad in the arms. I've had to return several of these and order replacements, but those shrink too. L.L. Bean says that they haven't changed the fabric, but the truth is in the shrinking, so be careful until this issue gets fixed, which I hope is soon.

What a disappointment. I have been buying the same model shirt for years and this new shirt was too tight in the chest before it was washed. I bought the same shirt a few months ago and that shirt was also too tight. All of the old shirts of this model fit me just fine. Now I need to find someplace else to buy quality t shirts.

I have purchased several of these long sleeve tee's from LL Bean over the years. They have always been loose fitting, but these last two are too small! tight fitting and too short overall, especially the sleeves!

I have several & love them but this one shrunk terribly after just one washing. Very disappointing after waiting 3 months for delivery. No way this shirt is a Large.

I'm not sure where they get the idea that this is unshrinkable because after only two washes the large I bought had turned into a medium.

Most Bean shirts are generous in size, both in the chest and sleeves. This shirt is neither: tight in the chest and really chintzy on the sleeves. The sleeves are so tight I am not even exchanging the medium I bought for a large. The design is just plain poor.

supposed to be xl tall. after two washings it is more like lg short. unacceptable.

Shrinks. Returned the first one, they sent a second, that shrunk to. Ended up giving away the shirt.

I've owned these shirts for years. The latest shirts I received DID SHRINK despite washing and drying them on delicate cycles. Will order no more.....

Doesn't Shrink but after a few washes it comes as art at the seams! Poorly made!!! Very surprised they are selling such a cheaply made shirt!!!

I returned the items. Although I order the same items using the item number from the past time I ordered this item, the quality was different. The material on the previously ordered item was heavier and much softer. The material on the items I returned was thinner and not comfortable. I also recently visited an LLBean retail store. Some of these items had the softer material, some had the thinner material. Both had the same item number. I did not buy them because thes store only offered regular and I needed long. I am disappointed that LLBean does not have same consistency in product quality when, in fact, the items are the same item number and are sourced from the same off-shore company.

Very disappointed. I ordered 2 of these for my husband who is in desperate need for LT long sleeve T's and he hates to shop/spend $. One fit, but could have had 1-2 inches longer in length and the other ones sleeves came 2 inches above his wrist bone--so, 1 went back and now he'd rather wear holes in his really old shirts than trying to reorder. His decades old shirts from LLB had better lengths.
