I love the color, fit, and feel of this shirt in red. After 1 year of light use (I never wore it during the summer so really less than a year) I noticed that it has a dozen or so holes in various parts of the shirt. Obviously the fabric is of very poor quality especially considering the price paid. They may not shrink but what got is that if they're in tatters. I'd add photos showing a group of multiple holes but this website isn't configured to do that using an iPad.

Been purchasing these long sleeve T-shirts for a while now. The last ones that I purchased are item number 224603, love them, washed them dozens of times and dried them in a clothes dryer, never shrunk and stood like new. I needed some more and naturally ordered the same ones. But the ones I purchased, again the same item number are much noticeably thinner then the other ones. Looks like LL Bean changed the fabric to a much thinner one. I'm very disappointed with my purchase.

RETURNED. Based on my ordering history with LL Bean I have always ordered Large. What I received was marked Large but was easily Extra Large if not XXL.

Bought several of these thruough the years I am 6 foot 1 inch 200 lbs and purchased large tall. After wash shrinks so that the lower hem is around my belly button and is much more expensive than similar "throw away after one wash" Ts. In addition, unlike wicking T shirts, it is hot to wear. Still looking for the best T and this definitely is not it

I ordered a medium and it would have fit someone who normally wears an XL.

This is a really nice long sleeved t-shirt but is is clearly not the same size as the regular short sleeve T that I have been buying for at least a decade. The short sleeve always fit me well including the most recent purchases. The long sleeve is too long in the body and too loose in the arms as well as being a bit long in the arms. I bought 5 of these but only wore one and I am going to launder it to see if I can get a better fit before deciding to send these back.

I have been buying this same shirt for years and loved the quality and fit, but I just received a new one in a new color and it is awful. I have always worn an XL, but this one was huge and the quality of the shirt was different. So I reordered a size L which was a better fit, but not the same. They must have switched manufacturers - I won't be purchasing this beloved shirt anymore!

I have several of these t-shirts in many colors. I've always been completely happy with their performance over an extended period of time. Size large fits me perfectly. However the last color I purchased (port) fit tight when I first received it and has continued to shrink after every wash. I'll be donating it to Goodwill!

Am giving up on LL Bean. This time the fit was good but the color was totally different from a prior purchase of the same color. Sizing on previous orders is all over the place, too bad because the shirt is actually pretty good. Am eating $6 bucks each return, just not worth it.

Runs large. There was a long questionnaire about sizing and comparisons of size of other companies. It did not seem to help. The over and back shipping cost more than the T-shirt.

I bought two thinking the shirt was the same as time past. way to long ; I'd look like an idiot walking down the strret, sadly I washed them hoping they'd shrink, what was I thinking?? Anyhow stuck with them looking for a tall teenager to give them away to.

The shirt was thinner than I expected from LLBean and was WAY TOO BIG. Ordered an extra large and the shirt looked like a 3X! If it wasn't unshrinkable, I might have kept it, but returned it.

I'm a long time user of what was a wonderful Tee. When you switched from China to Vietnam the patterns were changed and the new fit is terrible!! Have worn medium/tall for years which allows for long enough sleeves and a nice fitting body. The loss of these great tees makes me very sad. Why did you change this pattern??

I bought several shirts in size large. They are a dress. More like XL. Have bought many shirts in the past but sizing is way off lately..

The quality is very good, my husband has worn LLBean shirts/tees for many years with great satisfaction. But, now as a senior who is shorter and thinner and the shirt was unfortunately returned.

While I have lived these shirts in the past, not so with the recent one sent me. Why? Because i was sent an XXL, not an XXL Tall. Unfortunately, I didnt discover this until i had worn it once.

I have been wearing Tall XXL for ever. and most casual shirts are from LL. These sleeves are way too short. Yes, I cold water wash them still. That's my take.
