These shirts look good and size is as listed. However for a T-shirt they absolutely do not absorb sweat. They have been through several washing and still do not. Must be the stain resistance chemical they use that also resist sweat. Perhaps they'll be better in the winter. Not likely to buy any more.

I bought this and another t shirt for my husband.. both are 100% cotton....
the t shirts do not absorb sweat. My husband says the shirt does not give... He has a few of your long sleeve t shirts and he loves them. This one .. not at all....
I wouldn't recommend for an active person.

Beautiful looks and feel and probably okay for slightly warm weather but in hot weather or in any activity that makes you sweat, this 100% cotton t-shirt does not absorb sweat at all.

looks good, seems well made, fits well and doesn't shrink, BUT I got it for summer wear, when one sweats, and it doesn't seem to absorb sweet nor even breathe. If you're in the heat and sweat yet want to look good, this shirt is for you--it shows little to no moisture. If you want to not have to feel soaked and have to wipe down with a towel once the shirt is off, then look elsewhere. I've worn many cotton shirts over many years, and never had one like this.

The texture and quality of construction, and appearance are great! Although the shirts are 100% cotton, they do not absorb sweat. Looks great and good for wearing indoors.

Overall quality of shirt is good, but my big gripe is that I purchased (3, I believe) over the past year that indicate the shirt is powder blue based on the picture you show. I compared this to my purchase of about 18 months (or more) ago where the powder blue color was right on the money. I have since discovered that the shirt color I am looking for is called lapis quartz and it is powder blue in color. I purchased more blue shirts (not remembering the name) and the color shown in the catalog and online was very close to a powder blue, but when you open the package it's a much darder blue than advertised and it happens to be a color I hate with a passion. You need to take more accurate pictures. And please reinstate the lapis quartz color. All other colors were accurate and I wouild rate the whole experience a 5 out of 5 if you just reinstate the lapis quartz color for this item.

I like the tall size length but everything else is of concern. The material says made in Vietnam and 100% cotton but this must be some misrepresentation. This is not 100% cotton unless they put in 1 quarter the number of threads to keep the claim. Disappointed as I have fallen in love with the sweatshirts from LL Bean and their quality and was hoping it would extend to other lines but it has not. LL Bean's merchandise buyer needs to address this asap. When you have send me a sample to tell you if I reverse my opinion.

The neck seams were very rough. I'm not sure if it was the type thread used, or the way it was sewn. I had to return half of the shirts I ordered.

I purchased several of these shirts, they are cheaply made lite weight shirts not what one would expect for the price. Way over priced for what you get. Won't be purchasing any more of these shirts

This T-shirt is advertised as 100% cotton, but the label on the T-shirt itself says "100% cotton exclusive of trim", which must apply to the elastic material in the collar which is both uncomfortable and tends to cause a ripple effect on the collar itself. Additionally, this material causes the collar to wear out long before the rest of the shirt producing a shabby appearance. The cotton material itself is not breathable in hot weather. I would not recommend this T-shirt.

I've ordered many tee shirts from Bean over the past couple of decades. All have been comfortably fitting, soft to the touch, and thick. This seems to no longer be the case. This tee feels like it's a Medium and the cotton is no longer soft and comfortable.

Poor quality of material - very thin material and certainly not the quality of T's I previously purchased from LLB.

Unlike all of my other L.L. Bean tees, maybe 6 or 8 in all, this shirt is too small. After several washings it has become tight. So tight, in fact, that it's not comfortable, and I will be returning these two for the next size up.
I love the dark gray color ~ it goes with just about anything (unlike the ORANGE). At one point, orange was all that was available so I got 'em, and they're fine with jeans or cords, or under my sweatshirt.
The fit is the thing though . . . . these are just too small.

I have ordered quite a few of these of various colors and I really like them. However, after a few washings the collars become mis-shaped and look stretched. I am kinda disappointed because the cheaper ones that I purchased somewhere else don't do this. I spent extra because of LL Bean's other quality products that I have purchased. I most likely won't be paying extra for these in the future unless LL Bean fixes the product.

I misplaced my grey llbean pima cotton tee. So I purchased this one, a non-pima cotton tee since llbean stopped selling pima cotton tees. The material feels uncomfortably thick and rough in texture. Not the feel I want living in Florida. I miss the silky smoothness and lighter fabric of pima cotton.

I used to love theseT-Shirts until they started treating the fibers with stretch They don't absorb perspiration and I have wet skin, further more they aren't breathable. I will never purchase them again.

Been buying pocket tees short & long sleeve for 15 plus years. Last couple of years the neck trim does not hold up nearly as well under repeated washings. It gets wrinkly wearing much quicker than it used to. Quality seems to have deteriorated. Very disappointed as I always considered this among the best fitting and longest lasting, well made tee shirts. Now I have to explore other makers.

High thread count, therefore comfy but very warm. Worn out on a trail on a warm day and does not breathe well at all. Will be great in the winter but not so much in the summer

The shirt was marked large but it was way too large and should have been marked x-large. The shirt was way too long, not the length of all the other shirts I have ordered.

If you like to iron, this is your shirt. And unshrinkable isn't necessarily a good thing. These are so over-sized that I wish they WOULD shrink a bit.

I ordered four of these shirts and one of them well marked XL was probably a medium. Just poor quality control on LL Bean's part. In general, these shirts are of markedly lower quality than a few years ago. Very disappointing purchase.

I bought a few of these t-shirts a couple of years ago and hardly wear them in the summer. They look great and fit well but when I perspire, the t-shirt does not absorb the moisture. I only wear them in cooler weather when I don't sweat.
Is anybody else experiencing this or am I the only one?
