Bought many LL Bean shirts in 2X and they were perfectly sized. This shirt is extremely over sized.

Very disappointed with these T shirts over the past few years. The length has increased significantly. What more disappointing is the collar becomes wavey and rippled very quickly. The rest of the shirt looks new but the collar makes it look like an old T shirt. What is going on with the material you are using?

I have purchased several of these T-shirts over the years. The Gray Heather developed holes in the body of the shirt in spite of normal use. Unfortunately, I tolerated the small holes for a few years before the holes multiplied too many times. When I contacting LL Bean, the person on the phone treated me like I was a scammer trying to pull a fast one. I get it, but I have been a loyal customer and could see my multiple purchases. He eventually relented to refund me. I got another Gray in 2024, and again, one small hole in the back of the shirt. I immediately sent the shirt back. They refunded my purchase, minus a Label Fee of $6.50. Not gonna break the bank, but just irritating. Love the black, blue, and charcoal colored shirts. I'll get Gray somewhere else.

Love the material. But, this is a huge shirt for a medium. Fits like a loose tent. Tried to shrink it to no avail. Wished I anticipated it being huge and had bought a small I never buy smallsStuck with it.

Why haven't you fixed your sizing issue? The sizing chart is nowhere near the actual sizes of the shirts. I can't understand how a company of this status can be so off on something for so long. The large is more like 47" across the chest, not the 42" as stated

Despite careful laundering, the collars always come out with "ripples," contrary to the "crisp" look I was hoping a tee shirt at this price would afford.

The fit is boxy and the material is stiff, which made it look like I had just bought the shirt an hour ago and was wearing right out of the package, even after washing. The crew neck was very tight, which also made it look and feel like the kind of shirt you'd get for participating in a fun run. Not what you want for a causal wear shirt. Thinking about it, that's what I would use this shirt for - if I had an event and wanted a screen printed memento giveaway that someone could work out in.

XL is larger with LL Bean. I should have picked a large.

Larger than expected. Bought a medium but it feels like a large. Very spacious around the arms and body.

Great shirt, good fit and feels good but spoilt by bacon neck after 1wash. Purchased 4 shirts and all had bacon neck after 1 wash. All returned. Same shirts from a year ago are looking good after many washes so lower quality on new products.

Bought several of these shirts 3 or 4 years ago for $20 each. Heavier and well made. Washed 100 plus times each. Excellent value. These are not. If I get a third of the wear out of these I will be amazed. These are less for more. You got me but for the last time.

Way too big. I wear a size medium in every tee I've bought from several different manufacturers in the last 20 years, except 1 that was designated "relaxed". These tees were all at least a "large" but labeled "medium". I felt there was no chance of them shrinking down to my size in the future, so I returned all 3. It's also annoying that LLBean charges for returns. Admittedly nice fabric and color (gray heather).

Just received but unfortunately I will be returning as it's just too big. I've ordered many of these in the past and this time ordered the same size (XL) but setting side by side with other similar shirts the new one is an inch or so wider on each side. A complaint I have of my other Bean shirts is the neck material looses its shape too soon. I will be giving up on these t-shirts from now on.

The shirt is huge and looks sloppy. The neck is dimpled. I'll keep it for wearing around the house, but I cancelled the other one that was on backorder. I'm 5'9 1/2"; 156 lbs.

I have bought these carefree unshrinkable T-shirts for years, I love these T-shirts, but I have become increasingly disappointed in the way the collar gets wrinkled over time. I can no longer continue to buy them from Bean as durability is not what I expect from Bean.

These shirts look good, but are terrible for hot, humid conditions as found in my area (Houston). They are very hot and they do not wick water away from you. It's almost like being in a sheet plastic shirt.

Not the same quality. Wrinkled neck after washing. Much thinner than previous shirts purchased.

I bought 4 of these Tee shirts. They seemed well made but after 4 or 5 washings, the collars are fraying.

I bought these exact same shirts in 2024. The 2025 version has even worse Bacon Neck after one wash. The material is so much thinner and they come out of the dryer very wrinkled. I don't understand why LL Bean doesn't fix the bacon neck issue with these T shirts. Why does it seem like every clothing manufacturer is in a race to see who can make the thinnest material for their clothes? Very disappointed in the quality of these shirts.

I set out to replace my old LLB stonewashed fitted T (that lasted ten years at least) and this T isn't a replacement for those old ones. Traditional fit Med doesn't hang as well as fitted Large. First wash changes these, I doubt they'll last 5 years. LLB's Best T are the insect shield ones, they are Fantastic.

The size was NOT true to size. We ordered L, my husbands usual size. It fit like an XL. Maybe it was a freak situation and that 1 shirt was off. But the other problem was the material. The Material is too thick to wear year round as an undershirt. Which is want we were looking for, a shirt that could be versatile to wear as an undershirt and Tee. Lastly, the price was high. Two stars for the beautiful rich navy color.
