I bought this jacket because I liked the style and color. It's to replace a LL Bean fleece lined warmup that faded badly. I thought it would be of similar weight and insulation thickness, but it's not much more than a lined shell. The inner breast pocket is bigger, which is a huge Plus, and I really liked the color (wish they offered this color on the warm up jackets), but the jacket is just too light weight, so returned it.

As it is 95 to 100 degrees now in North Texas I cannot review this jacket for anything beyond fit, which it did. When October or later arrives I may be able to wear the jacket and determine how warm it is.

Nice jacket but ran small so had to be returned. Customer service wanted me to pay for return even though it wasn't my fault. Not a good business policy.

Just okay, Not quite heavy enough to be a good wind breaker . Fit is very good ! Perfect color .

The jacket is warm, but heavier than I thought it was, so although I like it, it's not what I was looking for. Additionally, the specs says the jacket has inside pocket. It does not. Finally, the jacket is a bit snug.

Received the jacket today and tried it on. I like jackets a little loose so I got a 3x Tall. Barely fits through the chest and not that roomy. Made in Vietnam explains a lot. 3x to them is a regular extra large here. Quality is ok.

The jacket was cheap. Not a three-season, jacket as advertised. I returned the jacket

Sleeves were to long, paid $15.00 to have them taken in.

Very nice but it runs small. I ordered a large which is normally the correct size. Not with this jacket.

Large is the correct size. This item doesn't meet "large" criteria at all. We got it in Sage which looks a little different in person that on paper. Returned for an XL and a different color. Maybe a different jacket.

Not as roomy as my previous Bean jacket of the same size.

There is no inside pocket or other pockets besides the two side hand warmer pockets. So there is no place to carry a phone or wallet that is both secure and accessible. I liked the weight and fit in general but have returned the jacket for the reason cited above.

It's ok. Not quite what I was looking for but I'm glad I read the reviews first. I'm a " large" large but in XLs the arms and shoulders are always too big. This jackets is very snug. Not what I would consider 3 season either, but like I said - i read the reviews and I'm glad I did. I'll keep it.

The jacket is very nice, I love the light fleece lining and the satin lining in the sleeves, but the jacket is made for a very slender man. What happened to jackets being slightly over sized to accommodate a sweater or sweatshirt? I own and wear size large Bean shirts that have plenty of room and fit nicely. In 1993 I bought and still occasionally wear a Bean Warm up jacket in size Large. I recently bought and wear another Bean warmup jacket in size XL that is too long in the sleeve, but still fits me fine with room for a light sweater, so what is with the sizing on this jacket. Do all LLBean customers look like the models wearing their clothing on their website??? I sure don't Secondly, the gigantic knit cuffs on this jacket are puzzling. Do they think all men have arms like football players? The cuffs allow the arms of the jacket to extend down below my fingertips. This is disappointing!

Jackets fit tight on the small size compared to other companies products. Ned more and deeper inside pockets

For a 2XL it fit really tight...although the length of the arms was nice, that part was more of a shell material than a 3 season jacket.

My husband had a 3 Season Coat years ago in 3XLT. He's lost a lot of weight since then, but this new design was too small and wouldn't zip. Wish your sizes went slightly higher. Sadly, we had to return it.

According to the size chart and the Beam sizing calculator, I am an XL. The jacket is snug and not really an XL. It is tight across the chest, and there is little room for even a light sweater.

Love this jacket, however it has the same problem as many of the XXL clothes I have purchased from you. The sleeves on this jacket are WAY too long. Just because someone is big they don't always have gorilla arms. If the knit cuffs were tighter and stayed above my wrist, this would not be an issue.
As a result, if walking the sleeves wind up hanging past my fingers by 5 inches. I have the same problem with some of your long sleeve Tee shirts.

I like the overall style and the jacket appears to be well made. My reason for giving it only three stars is because it does not meet the description. It is described as a three-season jacket, which traditionally means fall, winter, and spring. This jacket is too light weight for winter so it is more accurately a two-season jacket. My second objection is with the fit. I have several L.L. Bean jackets and all fit me perfectly. This is the same size but it is too snug. I could never get a sweater under it. I hate to return it, but it wasn't what I was looking for. L.L. Bean needs to rewrite the description for this product so that it more accurately fits the product.

I was excited to see LLB offer this style of jacket and thought it would be nice to wear in the spring and fall. It fit me nicely, but the cuffs on the sleeves were very large for my wrists and it was lacking adequate lining in the sleeves which made me think that it would not be good, should the temperature dip into the 40's. Considering the cost, I decided to send it back. I would be willing to try it again should these two issues be addressed.

The 3 Season Jacket should be heavier with more insulation

The XXXL was at best a XXL. I really wanted this kind of jacket. If sized like the fleeced jackets it would be perfect. I just could not zip it.

It's not a 3 season jacket as it is marketed to be.

The overall quality of this jacket seemed excellent, which is what I've always found to be the case with everything I've ordered from LL Bean for over 40 years. I rated the jacket 3-stars because of the fit; I returned it because it did not fit me. I ordered a size "L" because that's always been the right size for me for LL Bean jackets and sweaters, but for this jacket, "L" was too big; the sleeves were too long and the jacket hung too low, well below my waist. I have an LL Bean Warm Up Jacket that's almost 20 years old, still in great condition. It fit perfectly the day it arrived, and it fits perfectly today. It's a size "L" so I'm wondering if LL Bean jacket sizing has changed, because I'm the same size today that I was 20 years ago.
