Nice jacket for any event. You can dress it down or up. It's very comfortable and warm on a cool evening. The sleeves are long and the shoulders are roomie. Plus it gives when you move. Will consider another in a different color down the road.

My husband is 6"4 195lb. Jacket fits great(tall). He received several complements on it and he is very happy with purchase.

Just what I was looking for, tall size in basically a "jean" jacket. They are usually too short. Well made, rivets at the stress points, sturdy buttons and button holes and a nice waist adjustment strap on both sides to tighten up the fit. Lined nicely with flannel. Kind of wish it had an inside pocket but other than that I am impressed with the quality, fit, and I really like it.

I have owned several trucker style jackets over the years. Working on the farm they are perfect as a durable outer layer that won't rip apart against a barbed wire fence or branch like most puffy jackets do. I've also owned several LL Bean items over the years and all seem quite durable. When I saw this combo, LL Bean and a trucker, I had to give it a try. This jacket is spot on! It's perfect for long days working in the field, but my wife thinks it still looks great for grabbing beers after work. The shell is a very soft, brushed canvas. It feels super durable but nice and flexible. And the flannel lining is a dream! Soft and warm, and looks great against the outside. Sleeves have a nice nylon lining so you can slide it over a flannel easy. Also, the subtle lining at the end of the sleeves and under the collar is a nice, classy touch. Overall just an incredible, versatile jacket. It's one you'll grab every time you walk out the door!

As this is the first review, 5 stars for customer service, who helped me since there were no reviews to refer to on this new product. Ordered the green and oversized it. I wanted to be able to fit a sweater or sweatshirt under it, and by doing this, it works well. The sleeves are lined in nylon and will allow it, although it is a snug fit. Without the extra garment underneath, it is more than roomy and I think a medium would have been just right but would not have permitted the extra layer. Sleeves, even though I ordered a size up, were not annoyingly long, nor do I feel the need to have them shortened by the tailor. Fabric is smooth; it is not like a denim jacket: it is fancier and really will work well with almost any setting except for a formal affair. There are no internal pockets, but the pouch handwarmers are large and well positioned, and will allow your hat and gloves to be stored. The upper chest pockets are deep enough to swallow an iPhone 7 in an Otterbox, and still are able to be fastened. The color is rich, deep, and smooth. The interior lining is just enough to keep you warm on a cool spring or summer evening, but not so heavy that it turns this into a winter coat. The one concern I have is that there are two exposed rivets on the back, that I will be mindful of, and won't leave this jacket on inside, as I fear if I lean up against something, it may leave a mark. Worn outside, that never will be an issue. Overall, this is a well made product that is worth the price, and appears to be made to last, probably for a dozen years, if YOU don't grow too large to wear it! Thanks once again, LL Bean, for your excellent products and service. I can recommend this jacket!

This is my first experience with L.L. Bean products and this jacket, overall, did not disappoint. The fit was larger than anticipated; however, I enjoy the feel of the material and features of the jacket. Usually, when sizing is off or quality is seriously lacking, I write the brand off as a complete loss and chose to not support their existence by exchanging my money for their goods. This jacket will be an exemption to that mindset and it's highly likely that I'll order another one in a size medium (a size down from the original order). Good job L.L. Bean. Keep churning 'em out.

This jacket takes me back to my high school days and my denim jackets. Got this as a gift, I like the green, though I do wish it was a shade darker. I needed something for cool spring days or early fall and this is perfect. I'm one of those people who land in the in between sizes. Did a lot of weightlifting in my youth and find many jackets tight in the shoulders or biceps, so I'm sometimes a medium and sometimes I'm a large depending on brand and cut (I can no longer wear one of the other outdoor brands because their sizing has become too inconsistent). I got this in large because it is slightly fitted but I probably could have gotten away with a medium because of the stretch fabric. It fits my shoulders perfect, the arm length is a little bit long, but I can put up with it. I wish it had an inner pocket. Good price. It loses a star because it came with a strong nasty smell that didn't go away and I was forced to wash it. I suspect it was the dye they used to color it. After the wash no more odor and its been great. I wish there were a few more colors, I'd like to buy a second one.

I have a jacket from LL Bean that is almost like this one. It is probably five or more years old. It is no longer available so I ordered this one to replace it. I ordered the same size as the old one but it does not fit as well as the old jacket did. This new jacket, large, is a little small but the sleeves are a little long. I'll keep the new jacket and wear it but I was a little disappointed since I really liked the old one.

6'4, 230lbs, wear Tall Large. I have multiple of these, I wear a lot over two years. Two issues that need improvement are the durability of the material holding the pocket buttons which have ripped off under daily use, and adding just one internal pocket. With those improvements I'd probably buy 3 more.

The average winter day in New Orleans is around 65-45 degrees which is the perfect temp range for this jacket. I thought I was getting the utility jacket I saw on YouTube but turns out this it its less featured cousin at $60 cheaper in price. Its the perfect jacket to look good at work or out at Mardi Gras parades. It will be my daily winter jacket. Only regret is no interior pocket.

Why no tab or loop on the inside of the collar to hang in a hook? Is the $.10 too much to spend? It's a basic thing. Otherwise, great jacket.

This jacket is well designed and made of fabric that obviously will allow for a lot of use without wearing quickly. I'm sure that It will be in my husband's closet near the front as a first choice of use when the weather is appropriate.

Nice little jacket instead of a hoodie for those rides or outdoor chores where a t-shirt isn't enough. BUT YOU CAN'T CALL YOURSELF A TRUCKER JACKET IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY INTERIOR POCKETS!!!! At least two deep inside pockets would be most helpful.

I bought a medium in brown. I really liked the magazine image for this jacket, but the color on the website looked more yellow. It's somewhere in between how brown it looked in the magazine and how yellow it looks online. I like the color overall. I had to get to sleeves shortened which is frustrating. I usually wear a 32/33 sleeve in dress shirts and this jacket is at least a 35" sleeve. It was worth the tailoring to me, but annoying to have to do. Otherwise medium fits great. I'm 5'9, 150lbs, 40 chest.

The jacket looks great. The shell is light and not as tough as I would have preferred. But it will do the job on as cool day or evening in the fall and spring. It is lined with flannel which keeps you warm and allows the body to breath while doing manual chores. All and all a great piece of work wear.

I like this jacket! It fits well and looks great, but it's not as warm as I hopedit's more of a spring jacket since I can't layer under it easily. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 stars) is the lack of a coat hook, which makes hanging it a bit annoying.

Really enjoy the fit of this jacket. Only complaint is that it's starting to show signs of wear after only one use of work. I'll see how it holds up over time.

This jacket is pretty good, material is a nice weight, and the rivet detailing looks sharp. I returned it because the arms where too tight for me and layering with it would have been too snug. I lift weights a lot though so for most people this would probably fit great.

As a skinny tall guy, the jacket fits great on my shoulders. Around the waste, however, it's a little too big. Great jacket otherwise!

I love the stretch and the flannel lining. I typically like the traditional fit but this is flattering and comfortable. The only thing is the sleeves feel a tad tighter than other items I've gotten here. Makes it tough to layer with a flannel or even a chambray shirt.

The jacket feels sturdy and the flannel lining is great. The green is different in person though, it has a pretty strong yellow undertone (so does the lining). It's an okay color, just not what I expected. If you have a warmer skin tone it will look great, though. Ended up returning because the color was so different from the photos.
