Cute jacket but it is less yellow (more dark mustard), and unfortunately the arms restrict mobility. I'm also not sure how warm it would actually keep you.

Great jacket, for our need just a little too fitting. Could have been a five a jacket to go put in the cold air and not be cold a stay warm item

Not quite the color I expected but love the color anyway. Easy on and off can wear a flannel shirt under it, I like that it has snaps plus zipper

I was really looking forward to receiving this jacket! I'm a petite, 5'2", & overweight. I purchased a petite medium in this riding jacket to have room to wear sweaters. As other reviews have stated, the sleeves are too long for me. Having them shortened wasn't an option because of the snap at the cuff. Also, because it's synthetic inside & out it doesn't breath at all. I found it uncomfortable because of that. Maybe it wasn't cold enough outside when I "test drove" it. I also didn't care for the lining print - i think a plaid with navy blue in it would have been more suitable, but that's me.

It was pretty. But, the zipper (double) would not zip up easily. It got stuck, and was such a huge struggle to undo, that I'd be nervous wearing it anywhere. It also was overly thin, and the lining was cheap feeling. LLBean used to make higher quality stuff. Maybe some of it still is.

Color and fit are fine but the double zipper is not well made. It is very difficult to get the zipper properly aligned

Good but not great. My problem with many coats and jackets from LLBean is the poor ( and too small) zippers they use. I bought a similar looking coat from a mid priced womens catalog at a cheaper price and the zipper is waaaay better and the jacket is better wind proofed. Beans old dependable quality has really slipped.

I purchased this coat about 30 years ago. It buttoned instead of zipped, and had a thinsulate lining. The hem was a shirt tail hem. I have worn the coat in all seasons and all weathers. Out walking, back and for to work, trips to the store. etc. I still am wearing the coat even though I have a tiny rip in one sleeve. It still washes well and will be wearing it much longer. I was going to buy a new jacket but the reviews talked me out of it. Wish I could buy another like my original jacket. I am a very loyal ll bean customer.

It's an ok jacket. I really dislike the slick synthetic lining and the narrow pockets openings (I had a hard time putting in my phone or my wallet). You're better off spending a little more on a Burberry quilted jacket: comfortable flannel lining and wide spacious pockets.

Not sure about the zipper. Haven't worn it a lot to test it out but have found the zipper thus far to be very difficult.

Though I thankfully did not encounter the same zipper issue that everyone seems to experience, I wasn't totally impressed with this jacket. The fit is boxy and not tailored like the photo. I felt frumpy wearing it. I did get a medium, but if I size down to a small, I don't think I'll be able to wear a sweater underneath. It seems decent quality, but for $156, I just wasn't in love with it. I was really hoping it worked out, I desperately need a fall jacket!

I wish more attention to detail was paid with the style of LLB's products. For instance, the corduroy under the collar, why not put it on top? Also, some contrasting piping, maybe a leather or the same collar corduroy, on the sleeve and edge of the jacket would have really upped the style on this jacket. It is nice but so plain.

The fit is good and the coat has the right adjustments for petite proportions. The quality is okay. Would have liked inside pockets.

I get many compliments for the color, style and fit. I love how it feels. The zipper however is very tedious to engage, I sometimes give up on it and just use the snaps.

Usually wear medium, but I sized up due to the shoulders and wanting wear the coat over sweaters. I wish the waist was a few inches lower and the length was a few inches longer. Otherwise, I love the color and construction. I am only 5'0" so short length is not usually a challenge.

Love the kelp green color, love the quilted tailored look, love everything about it ... ... but it is too small. Very tight across the back, shoulders and across the front. Would love to see LLBean get this in a Women's size instead of just a Regular size. I love my jackets to have a bit of room to them, incase a sweater or heavier garment was to be worn. With this jacket, only allows me to wear a shirt and still remains tight across the back, shoulders and chest area. Sorry to have to send this lovely jacket back, but the only way I could wear it, would be to leave it open, unsnapped and I don't want to do that. Too costly to keep when it doesn't fit properly. PLEASE LLBEAN, WILL YOU MAKE AVAILABLE WOMEN'S SIZES IN A JACKET SUCH AS THIS?! It would definitely make customers happy as myself. I love LLBean coats and jackets, but I do want them to fit me. Thanks.

The jacket seemed very nicely made and very good quality. But the sleeves were way too long. I am 5'2" and bought a small. While sleeves are sometimes a little long for me, these ended past my fingertips. I tried cuffing the sleeves but that was too bulky looking. I really wanted to love this jacket but in the end returned it. Maybe they'll make a petite size.

I loved everything about this jacketbut I had one problem. The zipper did not work. I saw other reviews that mentioned the zipper, but I took my chances hoping it would be ok. I tried and tried to work out the zipper, but I just couldn't get it to work. It was a huge disappointment since I spent so much time picking out a coat and had my heart set on this one.

Color faded in spots, under arms, collar, any part of the jacket that didn't hit the weather. Liked the jacket, light weight but warm on cold days, fit well, great with jeans and could dress it up. Easy to move in, not bulky. If the color didn't fade I would recommend it,

I love this coat, except for the zipper. I've had the coat for three weeks and have struggled with the zipper at least eight times. This morning, I struggled with it for a couple of minutes (should take a couple of seconds) before deciding to send it back.

While the jacket looked great, the pockets were all wrong. They were in an awkward spot and not at all comfortable so I returned it. A cold weather coat like this needs to be functional.

This is a very nice jacket for the fall in New England..it fits well, although the sleeves could be a little shorter. As usual, I would prefer zipper pockets but these are nice and deep.

Runs small! Can't wear a lightweight sweater underneath!
