I wanted a light weight rain jacket suitable to keep me dry while outside during the FL rainy season. I knew LL Bean would be my first & best place to look! I checked the reviews to determine the best size for me and purchased it just in time! It arrived sooner than expected and is the perfect fit with enough room for a 2nd layer if needed. That was a pleasant surprise since it is somewhat fitted. I was able to test it out when we had a heavy rain a few days ago. I could feel the rain pelting on my jacket, but to my surprise I was completely dry! I'm so very happy with the jacket and color I chose, that I'm now considering getting a second one in another of the great color choices available!

I bought this because I would be handing out lunches for the local school I work for because we offer curbside and have to get the lunches to the car. It has worked out great and I have gotten compliments on it. It is light weight enough that I packed it up for our side by side trip just in case. Great addition to my closet!

I purchased this to upgrade from my 15 year old LL Bean rain coat (that one was still solid, but I always hated the finicky zipper and its boxy shape). This one is cute, the green color is cheerful, and it repels heavy rain without having that plastic-coat feel. The hood tends to slip back on my head for some reason but it could be just me. Overall, nice jacket, hope that it lasts for another 15 years!

As always LL Bean's X-small petite fits perfectly. One size larger might be OK but shoulders could be a bit wide. Have not used in rain yet so cannot comment on weatherproofing. But always like zipper pockets as items cannot fall out.

I like this jacket. Color was what I expected and size was true. It is most comfortable when I wear a long sleeved top underneath.

I needed a rain jacket that was truly repellent, that I could wear with lightweight fleece vest/jacket underneath, and could stuff dog poop bags in a pocket. This was the one. Love the 'rusty' color. I like the adjustable tab on the hood. Comment: I'm taller than most, yet the sleeves are a bit too long. To the design experts: just because a size enlarges, it doesn't mean that arms grow longer! And please always allow enough WIDTH in the sleeves to accommodate layers. The chest pocket could be deeper - phone falls out if unzipped.

This sheds rain easily and it's roomy enough to wear a thick sweater underneath on chilly days.

Lightweight jacket, great for spring, summer and even fall. I bought a large so I could put a light sweater under the jacket when fall comes. Love the color and now I want one in blue!!!

This jacket is as described online. Comfortable and waterproof. The only improvement I would suggest is a 2-way zipper.

Love it. Wore it all this winter in PA. It fits great, I use the hood when it's raining or chilly. It's light weight: I was regularly surprised by how warm it kept me.

I needed a light rain jacket to wear walking the dog. This one is perfect. It fits well including the hood and has deep enough pockets to hold treats and bags.

This jacket is a perfect fit with room for layers underneath so it will keep you warm and dry on cold winter days but is not too warm for milder Spring/Fall weather. It is waterproof and I especially love the adjustable hood which will pretty much stay in place on a windy day. Also love the color. I ordered the dark blue shade, can't remember the name of it.

This is the second one I've had. My old one finally wore out after years of service. I didn't even consider looking elsewhere - just ordered another exactly the same. Looks good, lightweight and keeps you dry.

Comfortable, water and windproof. We were on a trip to North Dakota in May and stayed at Custer State Park. I wore it every day just because it was so windy. We did a lot of walking and jeep tours. The jacket kept me warm. I am very happy with the purchase.

I read in the reviews that the arms were a little snug, so I ordered up a size, so that I could wear sweaters comfortably. I love the coat!

This is my second rain jacket; the other one is probably 10+ years old.. it is bright orange. My new one is Berry Pink and has a zippered pocket outside on the front near my left arm that holds money and bank cards.. I wished my other one did too. I love the color and is a compliment to my silver hair color. I have other jackets from LLBean and have never been disappointed. I recommend this jacket.. you will live it too.

This jacket is lightweight, comfortable, and flattering. It's perfect for warm and rainy days; it blocks wind and water without adding heat or bulk. The cut is flattering and the length is perfect on my long torso.

I ordered two different jackets and this one gets 5 stars. All aspects fine. Fit is perfect. Color matches the catalogue color. Will give this much use. As with many of the LL bean jackets with a hood, I would love them to figure out a way to roll the hood to get it out of the way so it isn't always hanging down the back. Even with that i give it a 5 star and would definitely recommend

I purchased this in the yellow in a size larger than I usually wear since it was said to be fitted. I really like the jacket. It is a tiny bit large, but I can fit sweaters and layers underneath. It has velcroed wrist tabs which I use since the sleeves are slightly long. There are adjustments, a hood, and pockets that make this very versatile. We had a lot of rain this winter and temperatures were between 35-50 most of the time so this was all I needed. One of my best fall purchases.

Purchased this hooded rain coat for a trip to Seattle. It fits perfectly and the length is nice too - not too long, but not too short either! It's plenty for keeping your clothes dry as well as the added hood in case you're caught without an umbrella. Great colors as well, but mostly waterproof!!

Love, Love, Love this jacket. It fits great, the color (Orange) is bright & cheerful. It will be going to Norway with me in June. I would highly recommend this rain jacket for any age.
