I bought this jacket 10/22/2024 and have worn it maybe 10-15 times since it faded so badly after the first few washes ( delicate and tumble low) . I did not cause the fading since one of the picture I included is of a BR polo that retained its dark navy blue color that I washed the same way. I recently discovered tear in the jacket today . No idea how this happened since I rarely wear this jacket and it has not caught on anything . LL Bean used to be great but they are clearing using low quality manufacturing to make their clothes . Do not buy!

Used to love this sweatshirt. But the sleeves and side panels are 51% polyester and they PILL HORRIBLY after wearing several times. Bad quality.

My hubs bought me two of them....didn't even come out of the shipping bag before I was taping it up to return. Whoever thought that a woman would want a knit top with quilting that will rip in that hideous dirty pink color needs to get another job. I don't know how it fit since I never removed it from the bag....

After looking for a full-zip sweatshirt that did not have a hood, I was excited to find the L.L.Bean Quilted Full-Zip Sweatshirt. You can imagine my surprise and disappointment when, after only 6 weeks of wear, the underarms pilled. I would not recommend this sweatshirt.

Unfortunately this garment was manufactured in Asia and has a strong chemical smell! This is a problem with a lot of garments made in Asian countries.

I thought I had found the perfect full zip sweatshirts, classy and L.L. Bean quality. I bought three different colors: navy, plum, and rustic purple. All three were worn regularly and washed maybe twice, on delicate, with the zippers closed, and hung to dry. Yet all three of them had obvious holes in the front quilting after only two months. The purple one had horrible pilling under both arms. I couldn't believe the disparity between the price and the quality. I've never had clothes that started out so nice fall apart so fast. Makes me hesitate to buy anything else from L.L. Bean, unfortunately.

I have been considering getting this jacket for some time and finally took the leap. However, I am not happy that the sale price was decreased by $20 right after receiving it!

This sweatshirt is NOT at all the quality I expected it to be. I have two and both are getting small holes in the fabric along the inner sleeves and along the cording. The actual construction is fine, but the fabric is poor quality. I used to depend on LL. Bean for comfort and quality, but am VERY disappointed. I am trying to cover the area that is literally coming apart with some embroidery floss (which will launder better than the original).

I will be sending this item back! Within 2 weeks of wearing it, the material along the zipper near the pockets is ripping. The quilted pattern is not holding up. Very disappointing since I like the size, color, and fit.

I loved this sweatshirt when I tried it on. The color is pretty. It is so warm and fit perfect. But it got a hole in it the very first time I wore it.

This pills after a few washes. I thought this would've been higher quality given the price.

Too big, too boxy, not at all a shape that I want to wear. Going back.

I love the color and the style, I was disappointed in the thinnest of the fabric. It's much thinner than last years. Not warm at all. The wind goes right through it. I wanted other colors but I won't spend that much money when the fabric is so cheap.

After wearing it for one season & not everyday small holes started in the outer layer. Beneath the thin quilting material it appears to be some kind of black backing. I had purchased the color "Larkspur" so the black backing showed. The style of the jacket is great. Sorry to say the clothing of LL Bean has gone way down over the last few years.

I've worn this maybe about 10 times and I only wear it at work (a desk job). The elbows are almost completely worn out. At $90 a sweatshirt (paid extra for company embroidery), I would expect this to last years, not months. This was the first article of clothing I purchased and I don't think I will be purchasing anything else in the future. It's too expensive to not last.

This is the second piece of Bean outerwear I'm returning in as many months. The sleeves are 2" too long. I really like Bean's women's clothing but am tired of the inconvenience of returning items because many of them do not fit petite proportions.

I received this sweatshirt yesterday and discovered that the zipper on one side was sewn too close to the fabric, so it gets stuck every time you try to zip it up or down and the fabric immediately ripped. I contacted customer service, and of course, they are now out of the color that I wanted, so are unable to remedy the situation. This is the second defective product that I've received in the last 2 months. Very disappointed in LLBean's current standards for their products.

I bought this last spring and after wearing it about 10 or 12 times, the fabric near the sides of the zipper started wearing out and leaving black holes (this was before early summer). This is so different from the high quality I've had with other LL Bean products. Unfortunately, it got relegated as one of my dirty work clothes. A year later, the fabric has disentigrated all along the bottom seam just above the bottom elastic.

Everything I have ordered from L. L. Bean has been a 2X, pants, tops, etc. Everything fit perfect. I ordered a 2X in this jacket and I can't even get it zipped up. So disappointing. Yes, I know I can exchange it but it's a big inconvenience. Loved the color though.

I am so disappointed in the quality of the very thin fabric on this jacket. Also, I feel I was sent a jacket that was worn, washed and returned as the jacket was wrinkled and the zipper was puckered. I cannot believe LLBean would mail an item in this poor condition to a customer who has ordered from them for years.

Material is not an LLBEAN quality that im used to. The zipper ripped the inside seam the 1st time I wore it. VERY upset as this was very expensive.

Nice weight and the turquoise is a beautiful color but the zipper is terrible quality. It was hard to zip the very first time and then got stuck, not on the fabric, it just wouldn't move. I thought my husband was going to have to cut me out of this jacket!

Liked the fabric, color and fit but the zipper was faulty at the bottom connector so I returned. A credit was quickly issued with no deduction for return shipping. Thanks L L Bean.
