I was SO excited about this pullover! I found it at the outlet last weekend, it fits perfect, is so comfortable, and I wore it right away- after just one wear the sleeve ripped rendering it unusable. I am not sure if it is the air-light fabric that is fragile or if it was damaged and that is why it was at the outlet. I am hopeful I can exchange it instore this week because I was so excited about bringing it on my vacation next week.

Did you know that I refuse to buy any clothing item that contains an LL Bean logo? They are appearing on more and more items. It really is a turn off.

The fit was perfect, so I ordered another one, but it turned out there were things I couldn't live with. Luckily, I can sew. I ran a seam along the top of the kangaroo pocket so it didn't sag. I took out the snug seam binding along the bottom that gave it an unflattering mushroomy shape and replaced it with a longer binding that allowed it to hang straight, like a rugby shirt. (And I took off the logo - sorry Bean.) It is not cozy-warm and not windproof, but those aren't necessarily drawbacks: when all you need is a light breathable layer that won't overheat you, it is just right.

I purchased the color red currant heather. This top is orange with tangerine colored piping. I am returning it. What a waste of time for L L Bean, and me. Maybe I don't know what color a currant is? The shirt was just a shirt. Didn't like it enough to re-order.

The design of the air light pullover was a poor choice for my body type. As I get older my belly gets more pronounced and the horizontal pattern of the shirt accentuated my big belly. The quality of the item was amazing. It just was not right for me. If you're slender it would work.

The pullover's fit and feel are just what I had hoped for. Unfortunately, the material stains easily . . . and the stains don't completely wash out. My husband's pull over stains in the same way. We both have the light gray. Perhaps darker colors wouldn't show stains as much.

Sadly, a week and a half ago I got this pullover, and noticed today that the it is already fraying in two spots (pictured). It hasn't caught on anything, so I'm disappointed in the quality of this product especially considering the price. Otherwise, it has performed as expected. It is super comfortable to wear, and I do think it is a warm but breathable top. It is also true-to-size; I sized up to be able to layer, and it fits as I thought it would.

I liked most features of this shirt, but the neck was too high to look good and be comfortable. Unless you have a pretty long neck, I would not recommend this shirt.

So, the mesh inside of mine hangs... below the shirt when on. I essentially paid full price and am totally frustrated with this defect. I actually tried basting a pleat into it, and it still drags. POOR quality control LLBean... very disappointed. But I've worn it, washed it, and sewn this small pleat, so I guess I am stuck with it. And not sure why I need that full pocket anyway... have you tried putting your keys in it?? NOT an attractive look for a $59 shirt.

Love this pullover with one caveat... you can not really use the kangaroo pocket or it sags below the hem. I almost did not keep it as it sagged below the hem out of the bag. I washed it and it was better... but, if you put anything in the pocket it will sag and show. LLBean needs to fix this issue to make this a great pullover (I have two friends who purchased it who have had same issue)

I ordered this shirt because it was supposed to be red and it's orange.

This sweater is tight in the seams. It does not have much stretch. The lining hangs out when you put your hands in the pocket. The sleeves were too short for me. I bought a large and it did not have enough room in the shoulders.

Unfortunately, the sweater was way too short for my arms. I was pretty dissapointed as others with similar height as me said it fit them. Love the teal color though

I liked the fabric and the color, and the fit was perfect. However, there was kinking on the neck piece on either side of the snaps that was evident whether the neck was worn up or down. It appeared to be a defect in the manufacture of the piece, so I returned it.

Please, please give us one like this with a full zip. We really need to take this on and off without getting out the comb and hair dryer! I want a light jacket like this for hiking and to cover my workout clothes while warming up at the gym, or to wear to and from. I need to get it off easily without having to take off my glasses, my earphones, and re-do my hair. A cardigan, please!

I have bought three other pullovers just like this one last season. I bought a medium petite and they fit perfectly. This season I first ordered one med. petite and it was too tight then I ordered the medium size and that was too large. This pullover doesn't fit correctly anymore.

I really like the pullover and it looked great until I lifted my arms and the white lining stuck to my pants while the shirt came up. Almost any kind of movement showed the lining. Such a shame.

I liked the color and the fit. But the pocket is a disaster. Put one small chap stick in it and the pocket hung below the shirt. Took chap stick out and washed the top, pocket still hangs below the shirt. I believe it is the material used for the pocket. It makes the top really uncomfortable for me. It is going back.

Like others I keep wishing LL Bean would do tall sizes or at least make sleeves longer, this is a consistent problem I have with all of their tops but especially fleeces and jackets. This top is great and I like it better than pull over fleeces because dog hair doesn't stick to it. The top fits but could be 2-3" longer in the sleeves, and for most pullovers I love a longer top that i can wear with leggings (outdoor research does this right). I tried the men's medium which had the right length sleeves but then the body was too short and boxy. Like others have stated the kangaroo pocket does hang down below the hem when you put a phone in it. Hoping they get it right someday and I'll buy more of these tops because it could be the perfect layer for around town or a day in the mountains.

I don't like the material with which this jacket is made. It is also lighter than I expected and offers no warmth. I am disappointed in it.

Returned did not fit well. Normally wear PS but would need an PXS in this. Although that may be too small.

LOVED this top. perfect for my casual workday. I've only had a chance to wear this four or five times and the trim on the bottom totally ripped away from the rest of the garment. So disappointed. I never even put it in the dryer.

This is my 4th Airlight pullover. I was so excited to get a solid navy one. I took off the tags and put it right on seeing that the size was like 2 of my others. (One is a petite medium.) Immediately I was disappointed because it was longer than my others and it felt thinner. I actually took it off and laid it flat with the others and sure enough it is 2 inches longer than those that are same size. I don't enjoy wearing it, because whatever I put in the pouch pulls it down. It then looks silly.
