This is like no other Pima cotton top I've ever worn. The fabric is thin and very soft, it feels like a synthetic material. I'll never wear it so I'm sending it back. I'm disappointed in how many things I've sent back to LL Bean in the last couple of years, the quality and size consistency is not the same as it used to be.

I bought based on the size chart online. Much too big, way too long. Also, don't care for the fabric. The only thing pretty about this is the color (bought yellow and purple). Too much trouble to return during Covid. Will donate to Goodwill.

I have bought many of these tops, in the past. They have changed! The top is as long as a tunic top, but is not advertised as such. Also, the fabric is now stretchy and clingy, which makes my too large belly look larger! I am returning.

The tee is the perfect length before washing but washing and drying even on a low setting shrinks so that it doesn't cover the stomach area. In addition, it costs $5.00 more for 1X than the XL. Annoying, there isn't enough more material used to justify the additional cost. Most retailers don't do this, I don't know why LL Bean does.

These tees last so long that I haven't bought one in years. They run much longer than they did before. This was extremely disappointing because it's my "go to" tee - something I could reliably count on. No more.

...I don't like the "new & improved" length. I have a wardrobe of these T's -- bought several years ago -- and the design then was perfect for me. While these fit well in the shoulders, even allowing for shrinkage they are too long. Sadly, they were returned.

Looking for comfy, but well fitting shirt for around home. This shirt does not wash well. Wrinkles no matter what you do so not very easy wear. Have considered ironing it which should never be a consideration with a "t-shirt".

I've purchased these for years and it's always been an essential staple and my go-to tee. I am so disappointed, however, in the new style- it's very clinging and crazy long! I'm 5'8' and this was WAY too long for me, even though I like slightly longer tees. Please bring back your tried and true v- neck! Crazy to change something that has worked for so many years!

I own several of these tees from a few years ago. I was disappointed last year when this particular style was discontinued, then very pleased when it returned. But the fit is entirely different--it's much longer and somewhat tighter. The fabric is less substantial and isn't as comfortable as the old ones. The neckline isn't as pictured on the website or in the catalogue. This is a disappointing development and I will be returning it.

I have been looking for a replacement for t-shirts from another company. I am leaving that company due to dreadful customer service. However, llbean does not offer a tall t-shirt nor much in the way of fitted. I generally purchase medium tall. This shirt is consider semi fitted. It is baggy and barely goes below the waist. I have an athletic build as well as being busty. This shirt is not suitable. I will be returning it; at a hefty price.

I purchased a shirt with this same item number several years ago and wished I would have purchased 4 or 5 at the time because the fit is perfect.I still wear the originally purchased shirt; it's a favorite. So when the same item number shirt became available this season, I purchased 4 shirts. Boy, was I disappointed. The current version is at least 1" longer and about 1-1/2" wider than the original. I am returning all 4 shirts. A medium is too large and too long. I thought about reordering a small, but do not want a longer shirt. Please bring back the original fit.

These are clingier and much longer than the older version of V-neck tee. There is just something wonderful about the older tees that floated over the body and weren't too long. They always hit my hit at a very flattering length. I never felt the need to tuck in. Even though I've worn the size medium for decades of LLBean, I will try the Large in Petite, just to see. I feel like many of us have waited for eons for this tee to come back and if the Large/Petite doesn't work, it'll be very disappointing. I'll have to look elsewhere for my tee warerobe.

Thin fabric boxy fit. Sleeves large that make one appear even larger. Bought for exercise and to run errands in afterwards. But makes me feel like a sloblike wearing your husband's tee. Disappointed.

I have ordered this tee shirt in various styles for years. My last order of several shirts were extremely long. I measured my older petite tees and found about a 4"discrepancy. Until I read previous reviews I thought there must have been an error in labeling the shirt, as these were about the same size as the regular L. I will not be purchasing anymore in the future. I'm very disappointed as LLBean tees have been a staple in my wardrobe.

Have been buying these for years and loved them. A great staple for my casual wardrobe. HOWEVER, this is not the same tee now that the material has been thinned down, the shape narrowed and the length longer. The "boxy" shape worked really well for me (very forgiving) and the short length was perfect for my petite frame. Not sure why the changes were made unless this is just a way to increase profit without increasing the price? Will not be buying anymore of these. By the way, I was pretty upset about having to pay $6.50 to return a product that had been changed from what I had bought in the past.

I was very disappointed when I received the two I had ordered. They were way too long, much longer the ones I had purchased other years. I don't understand why you had to change the lengh and I prefer the v-neck to the scoop neck! Apparently I wasn't the only one not satisfied after reading other reviews.

I've been collecting LL Bean pima cotton V-necks in almost every color over the years. Some are over 10 years old and still going strong, and when they get faded looking I use them as pajama tops for another few years. I was skeptical about ordering the new style, as I much prefer my older original fit tees to the "slightly fitted" ones, and was concerned by the "shaped" description of this new V-neck. I ordered petite medium, which is my normal size (my older tees are small regulars or medium petites, and they fit perfectly). I returned this new shirt right away because it was very long, almost like a tunic, and very snug around the hips - an unflattering look. Also the fabric feels much thinner than the old pima shirts, adding to the clingy appearance. I wouldn't recommend this new style to anyone other than someone with a stick-straight figure, and hope this won't be the only fit offered for these shirts in the future.

I knew that the redesigned fit was longer, but took a chance on a Petite (I usually order Misses). Still way too long as it covers my rear end. I'm not skinny and the stuffed sausage look is not what I'm going for. A real shame because I have at least a dozen of the old ones and here in Florida I wear them every day. Won't be buying again. Please make the V-neck available in the original fit!

I purchased several of these in the past, was happy with them, and wanted more. However, when I read they were being made longer, I called Bean to get exact lengths (sadly, Bean neither gives this info on website nor gives height of its models). The misses I had ordered in the past sounded like it would be way too long, so I ordered a petite, which sadly was also way too long. It came down to my lower hip/thigh, even though I am almost 5'6". I don't look good in long t-shirts, nor do I like bunching all that extra fabric up around the top of my hips, waist. Returned.

I loved these shirts - until I washed and dried them. I washed mine in cold water and dried on gentle/low tumble dry and they still shrunk about 2 inches in the dryer - and became a more boxy shape. I also noticed that after washing the feel of the fabric changed from silky to more ordinary cheap cotton feel. Very disappointed. The instructions should say line dry only. The same shrinking happened after washing/drying with the elbow length shirts I ordered.

I have been searching for a decent tee since the polyester/jersey knit/spandex craze began. I had high hopes for this shirt. I do love the shape, sleeve length, v-neck and overall length but it doesn't feel like 100% Pima cotton and it's clingy like it contains spandex. I started with the white because the others were on backorder and it's so thin that it's see through. The fabric ruins this shirt. Not at all the quality of fabric I have come to expect from LLBean. I have another Pima cotton shirt from a different retailer (no longer available) that isn't see through and isn't clingy as if it contains spandex. It is incredibly soft to the touch unlike this shirt. This shirt feels like polyester. I'm returning this shirt.

When I first tried these I liked them and ordered more. Big mistake. They are like cheap cotton Tees you buy at low end dept. stores. They stretch out wide and shrink in length creating a terrible boxy, dumpy look. I won't even wear them to bed because they are so ill fitting. They stretch out in arms and width as I wear it through the day. Waste of money. They are not even fit to donate after 5 wears. I am very frustrated that I spent so much money on these. I am 38gg bra and everything is too wide, including arms and the length is too short for 5'1". I washed on delicate and cool dry.
