I have worn the L L Bean V-neck t-shirts for years and was disappointed when they discontinued them and very excited when I saw that they had brought them back! However, my excitement turned to disappointment when I tried this on. I bought the same size of t-shirt that I usually get from L L Bean but this item runs very tight and fits like a second skin. It is extraordinarily long, covering all of your hips and then some. Finally, the fabric is much thinner and more flimsy than the quality I have been getting from L L Bean for so many years. VERY disappointing!

I am so disappointed! The staple of my wardrobe for many years has undergone a major change. The quality has gone way down. This tee feels so much thinner than the tee I've been buying for many years. Is the trend now toward disposable clothing? This is not what I'm used to getting from LLBean! I recently had the same problem with some sheets I also bought from LLBean. What's going on?

Loved the shirt but I returned it. I am tired of having all the tees too long! I wish we could have a choice on length. I am tired of having to hem everything. The polos are perfect length how about having some of the tees fit like the polos!

So sorry I bought and kept two but I needed them at the time. Just a poor fit for me; like wearing a sack.

I love the pima cotton material. It is so soft and comfortable but these shirts shrink a good two inches after washing. I am 5'5" and I can't imagine how a gal any taller than I could wear this at the current length. Maybe try using preshrunk material, LLBean?

I loved and wore your pima cotton V-neck t-shirts for over 15 years. They were great. This new version is not. The fabric is thinner and flimsy, wrinkles easily, and is very long. The previous style V-neck was nice enough to wear with dressy slacks or a skirt. This is like an ordinary t-shirt you'd use to go to the pool or maybe do housework. I kept it and wear it to bed. Not sure if I would be caught in public wearing this poorly styled shirt. BRING BACK THE OLD STYLE PLEASE! And in long sleeves as well as short sleeves.

As with other reviewers, found this item WAYYYY too long. I have ordered several of these in the past in both short and 3/4 sleeve versions and love them. The fabric is far superior to most tees, but this longer length makes it unwearable (for me, at least). Tried it on just to see how much too long and had to return it. If this style ever comes back in original length, will definitely stock up.

I loved the old style v-necks: 254790 and 207246. these were a good length, neither too short nor too long for an average torso woman. But this new style is much too long -- maybe 4-5 inches longer than those styles. Do not purchase unless you have a long torso.

Unfortunately, the small petite has a way too long torso for a petite person. I am 5'2 and the small came down to the top of my legs. Maybe mismarked size? Love the crew neck sm petite! Length is perfect!

Have many of these tees and just love them. Thought I would get a few more since they were on sale. I should have listened to the previous reviews. These tees are too long for a 5'2", 115 lb woman. Sorry for the change in length, the regular length was wonderful. Length was below waist line, mid way at hips, could leave out or tuck. I could pair these with dress slacks, jacket for a stylish night out or with jeans. The new length is just too long to do either, it came down to my crotch !!!! too long to leave out and too much to tuck into any thing. Please give us "short" women a choice between the "old regular" length or the longer one. Had to return all tees I had ordered and now wonder where I can purchase a pima tee as good as yours. So disappointed !!!!

I wear petite sizes and I love V neck tees. I was looking forward to stocking up this summer, but was disappointed to discover that the petite sizes have been made longer and a little narrower. Please make the petite tees back the way they used to be. We need shorter, not longer.

I usually order 2-3 of these pima cotton tee shirts every spring and was very disappointed with the new fabric and style. The fabric is not as soft and the shirts are much longer and narrower. I will be returning them. Please, please go back to the original styling and fabric.

Have a number of these shirts, and in the past, have been very satisfied with comfort and fit. However, the quality of the last two shirts has been disappointing. The threads used around the neck irritates, and the shirt is uncomfortable and unwearable.

Not up to usual LLBean standards for Pima cotton fabric. Fabric harsh to touch and thin. Shirt poorly designed looks like a dark colored, baggy hospital scrub shirt instead of soft pastel tee shirt. Washing did not improve the texture of the fabric
