Really good fabric, size and colors. The length of the top is too short, though, and my tummy shows when I raise my arms.

This is a lovely shirt. It looks like a typical T-shirt and hangs like one on the hanger, so I bought without trying it on. To my surprise the fabric actually clings to my form (without being too tight.) I'm looking for a loose and flowing silhouette so I am going to return it. But if you are looking to show off your shape, you might love it!

I wear a L in other Bean shirts, but this one was too form fitting for me.
Probably would have been fine in an XL.
Loved the material and look of it, though

I have many of these pima tops, mostly v neck short sleeved. Large is often little small on me
and Extra Large a bit big, but I go with comfort so get the Extra Large. Note - I just got the Royal Plum and online it looked more of a purple with blue tones, which is more flattering for me, but it's really more of a purple with red tones. Just so you know...

I would like to know why the V-neck tee comes 2 inches longer than the crew neck tee. Both used to fit perfectly and be a perfect length but the V-necks have been getting larger and longer. I think that if you're offering the same fabric in 2 different neck styles they should otherwise be the same.

I've been buying these shirts for decades and this v-neck has gone down in quality. It's the banding on the neck. Pima cotton tees have always had a quality look to them, making them dress casual. This year's v-neck has a recessed neck-banding and looks like an expensive t-shirt, so I returned the white one. I wanted to wear it to the office but a t-shirt is not office dress casual. I kept the black and dark blue (the banding doesn't stand out on the dark material). The crew neck still has the quality banding but this? I'm disappointed.

I am returning two of the four shirts I bought. ( I really am not comfortable returning something that i have already washed.) I have other LL Bean petite pima shirts from previous years that fit me much better than these. They are simply too long for a short waisted woman. The colors are lovely and the fabric is as nice as ever but, sadly, they are both narrower and longer than I am used to receiving.

I bought the mint and bright pink colors. Love the brighter colors. Very comfortable, love the longer length and the material is soft and breathable. Have not had them long enough to comment on the durability but it appears to be well made.

Superior fabric with a lovely soft feel and like- new luster after 2 washings makes this T my favorite. Did not shrink up short like most cotton Ts and kept the V-neck shape. The lavender color is a sophisticated shade and very flattering.

Fabric is great: looks and feels good. But fit is just a tad tight for my Petite XLarge frame. Style would be much more flattering with a curved hem. The great quality fabric deserves that extra design touch. Still, I wear these often because they are so comfortable.

Really like the color; am not quite as thrilled with the more fitted stretchy characteristics but still like the shirt, it is light without being thin, good for hot summer weather here in SC. I rated it somewhat small due to the fitted nature: I am a bit more used to the slightly looser fitted (but not boxy) shape of the 3/4 sleeve, split neckline shirt. .

This is one of the only LLBean tees that hasn't shrunk after washing. The fabric is lovely and soft. I'd love to see more styles, especially some in a more feminine cut. Also, more classic colors - red, navy, black, ivory. I'd buy them all!

It is definitely a longer t-shirt. I love the extra length. Tried a L and XL and chose the large.

I purchased two of these tees - good quality and overall fit. I have been looking for a light weight vintage cotton or slub basic v-neck tee. Although this tee is not vintage cotton or slub - it is a good overall basic tee. It's comfortable and fits well in the shoulders and the length is perfect.

I reduced this review one star because the purple color is actually very grayish, which isn't a great color on me. The fit and quality are fine. How about a soft lilac or rich purple that isn't grayed out?

I purchased the seaglass pima v-neck in petite extra large as a gift. In my opinion it is much too long to qualify as a petite size unlike the crew neck which is shorter. It's mind-boggling why the neck style would make a difference in the length. The fabric and color are both beautiful.

These shirts are smooth and comfortable but have a tendency to be delicate.
The only trouble I have with these shirts is that they tend to develop tiny holes especially at the bottom of the front.
The yarn they are knit from is very fine gauge which I believe contributes to their smoothness and delicacy.
I add iron on sparkly designs to them in the interest of style. I take good care of them by washing and drying them inside out, but continue to get tiny holes on some of them.

I love Bean's pima cotton for its silky texture and the way it keeps its color. This short sleeve version of the "shaped" style that I prefer is casual but can easily look more dressy, depending on what you wear it with. If I were to change anything, I'd make the sleeves a bit longer,. but I'm happy that the V doesn't plunge too low. Just feminine enough for me.

I like these tee shirts but they are so expensive and very few color choices.

L.L. Bean's pima cotton tees are superior in the quality of the material. Other reviewers have had some issues, but I have washed, dried, and repeatedly worn a handful of these tees, and their quality doesn't seem to diminish.
My main complaint (and why I don't give the tee 5 stars) is that L.L. Bean doesn't offer pima cotton tees in enough color options. Apart from black, white, and navy, the color options are mostly "tropical" (at least, that's the theme invoked for me). If L.L. Bean were to offer this and their other pima tees in gray, dark gray, or beige, I would literally buy as many as I could financially handle (and would probably put off a dental visit or something just to get more, if I'm being honest). I can't account for why women get the mostly flashy color options, while men get the basic-yet-classy neutral colors for most of their tees. As a result, I only buy the black and white tees, and I have to shop elsewhere for neutrals, which I don't want to do (given that other available retailers' quality is...not so good).
I'll end this review by imploring L.L. Bean designers to please offer their pima cotton tees in a small handful of neutral colors beyond black and white. I just cannot wear a "basic," everyday tee that's hot pink or mint green. We women like gray and beige, too!

I have been ordering LL Bean tshirts for a number of years the quality and thickness of the cotton was the best. This last order I can't say the same, cotton is not as thick and you can see thru it. Disappointed in the decrease in quality.

Nice tee but after wearing small little hikes develop in the shirt. Very disappointed to see this happen.

I am short with a short torso. The tee fits great, but is long on me, so it will need to be hemmed. But love it just the same.

I was hoping it would be a little more "fitted" then it was, but I do like the shirt.
