I have a long torso, so, finding a shirt that is long enough to cover my belly and not ride up over pants is frequently a challenge. This shirt is a lovely weight with a silky cotton feel. I am 5'6" and ~ 200 lbs, pear shaped, A cup, so I initially ordered the extra large which was just too baggy. The large fits much better, not tight but not so loose it lacks shape. I love the colors (the azure is gorgeous) and sure hope L.L. Bean has plans for some new colors, in the summer. The V-neck is modest and not too deep (a necessity in the healthcare field when bending over patients is part of your day). I've washed mine several times and dried on low/medium and only lost about 1/2 inch in length which leaves the shirt still plenty long enough for my tastes. I'm absolutely thrilled to find the perfect V-Neck, all cotton tee and hope that it becomes a L.L. Bean staple.

I love the "Pima" collection in general, and when you added more length,it is perfect. I am only 5'2" and long to the waist. The "Pima" shirts are well made and last wash after wash. The "Pima" shirts have a lovely sheen to them. I get compliments on how nice they look and how soft they are, and let's not forget the Beautiful colors. Some of my friends buy them because of the softness of the fabric that touches their tender skin. L.L.Bean quality has always been top notch with us. Thank you.

I've been wearing these for so many years! I love the new fit. I'm 65, 5'6", 145lbs and I wear the large. I don't like my tees tight and the large gives me just enough room. The length is longer than the previous style. The material is a nice weight and the v-neck is the best style for me. It's a bit nicer looking than an everyday tee shirt. I wish more colors were offered but I will definitely order more. Hope this helps others trying to make a choice!

I recently bought 6 shirts from L.L.Bean for the first time and I love all of them, including this one. It's a nice fit, flattering without being too snug. I love the white color. It's not transparent and it's a nice quality. I couldn't be happier with my purchases! Thank you L.L.Bean for making quality clothing! It's hard to find something off the rack that doesn't look old and worn out after a few washings. These are nice!

So Excited that the V-neck short sleeve style is back in the plus size!!!! Please bring in many more colors!!!!! Like that they are a bit longer in length. Keep them coming!!!!!

After a year's unexplained and annoying hiatus, the Pima cotton v-necked t-shirts in plus sizes are back! Fabric seems to be the same nice Pima cotton as before, fit is excellent. And they're even better: a little longer and just a little less blocky. More colors would make this news perfect...

Yay, I'm so excited about the length of the 4 tees I got in this style. I'm 5'8", and always have problems with tee shirt shrinkage, and by the looks of these shirts, there's room for some dryer shrinkage. I'm so excited!!!

Ordered three colors and just love the fit and material. Came back to order more colors!

I have searched everywhere for a flattering basic tee that is free of polyester. I ruled it down to this one and a similar company's basic cotton tee. This cotton won. It is softer and a better fit. I do wish there were a longer option. I feel like if I dried these in the dryer, they would be too short.

I have bought several of these, with high hopes! Love the v-neck, the fabric is oh so soft and comfortable, and the colors remain beautiful through several washings. However, after a couple of washings, they shrink in length, somehow exactly nailing the least flattering point on me. I wish these were available in Tall sizes, and would love to see the return of some beautiful jewel colors.

I bought 5 . love the fabric but after a few washings, it loses the shape. The V neck starts drooping. On some of the colors they shrunk .

Nice quality fabric, although color was brighter than I was expecting.

These pima cotton v-neck t-shirts are like a uniform top for me and I wear one almost every day. I have been wearing them for years and have every color (that looks good on me :) Recent purchases seem to be shrinking significantly more in the wash than those in the past. It's disappointing but I'll still continue to purchase them.

I am a big fan of LLB clothes but was disappointed to find that the shoulder seams had a plastic liner on the underside. I've seen this more in other vendors and never expected LLB to use them since they scratch with washing and wearing over time. I kept the shirts (I bought several at once) and we'll see how they fare. In future I will be returning them.

Comfortable fabric, washes well, well made.. I gave 4 stars instead of five, because I ordered Pettite , expecting the T shirt length to be "shorter"than the regular size, instead, they tapered the T shirt.. rather than shortening it .

The T-shirt feels wonderful, the material is excellent, soft and very durable. If you are between sizes, err on the side of ordering larger than you think you need. That is my only negative comment.

I love these shirts, I have many. Problem is they shrink too much. Better to buy a cotton poly blend. I wash in warm and dry on low heat, so I have to order two sizes larger.

This shirt is just the softest. Drapes beautifully.

The fabric is not as breathable as I'd like, and the waist is tighter than I'd like, but the color is good.

Love the quality of these shirts but again not thrilled with sizing. Large fits pretty well. I usually order xl in all my other tees and they fit great. If I order xl in Bean shirts ridiculously huge

Nice color and good quality fabric. I wear Mediums with no problem, this one is a little snug (still wearable). Did i miss somewhere that it was form/straight fitting?
