I own several of these pima cotton v-necks in the previousLY designed fit, but have had to re-purpose them as my gardening and housework shirts because lengthwise, they shrank with each washing! (and I always launder and dry carefully on low settings) So, I was a bit skeptical when I saw the new longer fit, but I must say, I am extremely happy!!! I am just barely over 5 feet, a busty plus size, and the Women's 2x fits me perfectly and the fabric weight and length is just exactly right! Time will tell if I have the shrinkage in the length with this one. See my photos in both the old and new tops (please pardon my baggy gardening britches!) I ordered the Royal Plum and the pretty color is very true to what is pictured online, and I will definitely buy this top in more colors. I just wish the Beans would make them in a chocolate brown color! I hope this review helps those who are hesitant about the new fit in the plus sizes. Best regards for a great day!

I needed a medium after ordering a small, but I like the shirt, so I got two. It is a thick shirt unlike the thin see-through shirts I have seen elsewhere.

Good quality. The material for this tee is a bit heavier than the ones you find in the department store. And I love the V neck. Very pleased with this purchase.

This shirt is unbelievably soft and stretchy; I keep checking the tag thinking there is spandex in it but it says 100% cotton. Very nice finish, too.

This product always fits to size. I wear a medium (12-14). The broad choice of colors allows it to be matched with any outfit. Maintains shape after washing and lasts a lifetime. Just right for California weather.

I'm usually between a small and medium in tops but I got an extra small for a more semi-fitted look. I absolutely LOVE the v neck. And the cotton is luxurious feeling. I've been looking for a V neck that's not too low for a long time as well as a white T that is not see through. I wish it came in Heather gray.

I'm very petite and V necks are often WAY too low on me. Thank you LL Bean for offering a petite t shirt, which is hard to find!! The fabric is the perfect weight as well; not too heavy and not ridiculously thin like many other brands.

Great t-shirt. Substantial weight. Great fit. Good not-too-deep v-neck line. I just wish it came in some more muted colors, like a pale grey, a dark grey, a mushroom, sage green, etc. I'd buy them all.

I ordered 3 of these tees with the intention of keeping only one (wasn't sure of 2 colors). After getting them, I decided to keep all 3! The medium is a little long - falls below the hip, but the rest of the fit is perfect. And they are soooo soft!

Great shirt. True to size. Shrinks 1-2 inches in length after drying in dryer on low. Kept it anyway. Perhaps they could take this into consideration in manufacturing.

These tops are a staple for summer. True to size, nice fit, no cling and fabric not see through. I recommend these, purchased in a few colors! Ordered a M 139lbs and 5'2".

I absolutely love these v-neck t-shirts! They are my favorite! The fit is perfect and they wash like a dream. The fabric is extremely soft and comfortable. I'd love a stone and a gray color (not heather gray). And patterns in the v-necks style would be great!

These are so comfortable and the quality is excellent. They do shrink quite a bit in length when you dry them, so either dry them on low heat or hang to dry.

This tshirt fit my body like I wanted it to - not tight or clingy and not boxy. Just right. It almost feels like the thickness of a double knit. I look forward to wearing this tshirt for many years.

Sturdy shirts that last for years. I have a shirt bought 20 years ago and still love it. Falls below the tummy which makes me feel less self conscious about my waist. This year's jewel covers are perfect with my complexion.
