I really wanted to like this top but had to send it back. There was nothing about it that was flattering. Just looked dumpy. Got it on sale but it still wasn't worth keeping.

Too short to be called a tunic! It is just a tee. Love Pima cotton though. Not a fan of 3/4 sleeves.

The color is exceptional, it's the softest material, but the fit was totally off. For a true plus size person it would never work. It was way too short. Not even a tank under it would help. I had to return it.

It's just a basic top, nothing to get too excited over. The fit is true to size, wish it was made two inches longer and it would look better in a more fitted style. This is not tunic length. I do like the modest neckline.

Did not care for the fit. Must be petite to wear this. Hugs the back end.
Not flattering to a 14/16 size person

Overall good product but it isn't really tunic length to start and shrinks quite a bit after washing.

Love the fit of my top but the teal color must be washed by hand. Even after 3 washes it still bleeds!

I purchased this as a gift but have not given it yet.
The value of buying gifts at LLB has gone down with the recent changes in return and shipping policies.
I hope it is a better quality than other things I have gotten recently from LLB.

I have not had this top very long--bought one in purple after I had one in pink. It's only been worn and washed a few times, but the topstitching on the sleeve has come loose to the extent that it needs repair. My sewing machine is old and the color of thread needs to match exactly. I may have to pay to have someone repair this . . . discouraged!

I now own two of these shirts. I love the unique neckline and longer length, but they are cut so full from just below the bust to the hemline that I feel as if I'm wearing my husband's T-shirts! The fabric also seems lighter-weight than my other Pima cotton shirts. Therefore, I have two high-quality shirts to use for every day, not for the somewhat dressier occasions I originally planned. I will not order any more of this style. Suggestion: PLEASE offer more styles of cotton knit shirts that fall at the low hip! I'm old enough to prefer longer shirts than when I was younger (and thinner in the middle!)

My wife bought two of these shirts, but the neck hole is too big and the body is too fitted for a "mature" torso. We sent them back. Everything these days seems to be made for teenagers.

Bought this pretty tunic on sale a few weeks ago. Very comfortable and looks cute with leggings. Unfortunately, My pretty tunic shrunk due to accidentally washing it in the wrong setting.
Be careful if tired etc washing these tunics.

I ordered several of these shirts last year for my daughter and myself and initially we were very pleased with them. The fabric was beautifully soft and had a substantial drape, and this particular style is cut longer than Bean's other shirts (although it is NOT a true tunic. A true tunic-length falls at mid-thigh, NOT low hip-- Bean, please get with the program!) which is desirable for us.
I ordered more of the shirts, in different colours. The shirts in the second order were made of thinner fabric and seemed to have a slightly skimpier cut.
After a dozen washes or so, and having treated the fabric more gently than the washing instructions suggest (i.e. hanging to dry instead of drying on low heat), EVERY ONE OF THESE SHIRTS HAS SHRUNK at least one inch in all dimensions. They are still wearable, but they don't look as they did when new, and they haven't performed as expected.

I really liked this t-shirt. It was advertised as tunic which means long. I like the fact that my backside was always covered even when bending over. My like has turned into disappointment. I washed the shirt according to the manufacturer's instructions and did not put it in the dryer. It shrunk in lengthen by a 2 full inches. I have ordered t-shirts from llbean for many years and have kept them until they were in shreds. This was a complete disappointment.

Super disappointed. Gave it 3 stars b/c it's well made BUT .... maybe it's me (5'6" 150# 39.5/33.5/39.5) but I found that the medium -though it fit - was incredibly boxy, the neckline was too high and the sleeve length just not attractive. Definitely not a "tunic" (quite short). I think this could be very attractive on a shorter (5'4" or under) or finer boned or more shapely ("coke bottle") woman but it's pretty ghastly on me. I also did not like the hand of the fabric - felt & looked like nylon - kinda slick. Coral color is pretty.

I am a long time customer and have been wearing LL Beans Ballet Neck Tee exclusively for the past 15 years. Unfortunately it is no longer available,so I decided to try this shirt instead.I am not a big fan. I love the cotton, but the fit is different and does not look as good. Please, please bring back the Ballet Neck in the Pima Cotton.

I ordered two of these tops. The backorder on one color was 6 weeks which was very disappointing and I had to cancel that one. This is the second time this has happened in the past year. The red one that did arrive is great. Good color, good fit and washed nicely.

The shirt itself is lovely, but the coral rose color, is quite bright despite looking deeper and more subdued online.

I ordered the light pink and it was way too sheer to wear comfortably in public. I would have returned it, but I only just learned that it would cost me an additional $6.50 to ship it back. I kept it to wear around the house, but again, would not wear it out.

I ordered this because it was the closest thing I could find to the 3/4 sleeve boatneck cotton shirts I ordered at least a dozen of 2-3 years ago. They were among the few L.L. Bean shirts that fit long-waisted ladies like me. At the time I ordered this shirt, after they were discontinued, only four of the nearly 200 Bean shirts listed on-line were described as falling "at low hip," which is the only length that fits me. (Please, L.L. Bean--more long shirts!) I didn't particularly like the neck on this, but it was the only style long enough. I would probably have kept the shirt if I had liked the fit, but it was tighter than I like, and the fabric was skimpy, stretchy, and thin compared to that of the shirts I had so liked.

Love the color (shocking pink!). and the style. However, I found it to be a bit too form-fitting, and on the sheer side. Would not order this particular material again, unless two sizes larger!

I ordered two of these items; one was back-ordered. When the first one arrived, I was displeased with a) the color, which didn't match what I'd seen on line or in the catalog (supposedly "fiery red," but more "cherry") and b) the fit, which managed both to hang like a shroud and to emphasize all the places that don't need emphasis. I'm still happily wearing the old boat-neck, three-quarter sleeve tunics (not Pima, but regular "Bean T" cotton knit)which I bought long ago, and they fit fine. Wish they were still available! Anyway, I sent the tunic back, and canceled the back-ordered one. sigh.

I was not real happy with how this fit on me, but liked the color, so I ended up keeping it. It is not a bad shirt, just didn't find it flattering to me.

I have this tunic in the same size I ordered in two other colors, purchased several years ago. They fit just fine. But this one is markedly smaller, and I'm returning it.

I've been shopping at LLBean for decades. But lately very disappointed. Quality is down, sizing is inconsistent and all over the map and prices are up. Very poor image. I'm hearing the same comments from friends. Having to buy in two sizes hoping one will fit and then returning one is getting a bit old. Bring back the LL Bean we use to be able to count on. What happened?
