I purchased this tee in white to take on vacation. It will go with everything. I like the splitneck styling, the longer length, and the soft fabric - except...the fabric seems thinner than my other LL Bean tees that I've worn for years. In white, the tee is close to being see-through, and I don't want to have to layer a summer tee with a camisole. It laundered well, and I'm keeping it as a staple in my wardrobe. Still, I know my other Bean tees had more substantial fabric, especially the Pima cotton.

I love the design of these knit tops, the split opening at the neck and the 3/4 sleeves which is a good length for older arms. My one complaint is that they do shrink in wash-dry process. That shrinking makes the sleeves a bit tight and the neck come up higher with the corners touching on the neck. My neck is sensitive for several reasons... before wash-dry... the blouse did not touch my neck. But I am keeping these... I have one, ordered two more.

Very soft and comfortable. Love the color. Wish it were a size smaller, though.

This top is really cute and well made. It fits nicely everywhere but around the bottom hem at the hips - the top seemed to get even looser around the hips after washing and drying - sticks out, which isn't flattering. I am disappointed to have to return it.

This is not the first time I have purchased this shirt. I think I have it in about 5-6 different colors. I like it because 1) the fit is good, 2) it can be worn summer or winter, depending on the color and actual temperature, 3) it goes with everything - dressier slacks and jeans, 4) where I can wear it is versatile (day or evening), and 5) it keeps its shape and color after many washings.

I purchased this top to match a cardigan in coral rose. I added a button at the v-neck to decrease the size of the neck since the sun is very intense where I live. This would help reduce the chance of sunburn. Many tops have a large neck opening which causes too much sun exposure. Almost all of the models have long hair which I do not. I am 5'7" 130 lbs. and ordered a small. I love the drape of the pima cotton tops. Hope this helps.

Very nice tunic top. I just wish the split neckline was not so low.

I recently purchased 2 of these tees. The fabric is so silky and comfortable and the style is great. They wash well and fit great. My only issue is the split-neck which doesn't lie as flat as I would like. It probably needs to be touched up with an iron, something I try to avoid. Other than that, perfect!

I love the shirt but the color wasn't true to the picture. It was a much deeper color

I like the neckline and overall cut of this top. The fabric feels more like silk than cotton to me. I bought the 1X Women's. It fits well on me and I'm a 40GG bra size. However, I would have rated it 5 stars if it were maybe 3 inches longer.

I like this shirt a lot, but it's not long enough to be a tunic. It's a bit longer than other LLBean knit shirts, and that's nice, but a tunic has to cover my butt, and this doesn't.

Let me start by saying I do love this shirt. It's super soft, mid-weight, and beautifully colored. I enjoy wearing it and I'm glad I got it. However, this is in no way, shape, or form a tunic. I'm 5' 8" and a size 8-10 and this falls just a little over the back pockets of my jeans, but does not cover them. To me, a tunic covers your butt and then some. Tunics could be worn with just leggings underneath and you'd still feel covered. There is no way this shirt is long enough to do that. It also shrank a little in the wash, but not bad. Just know that when you're buying this, it's a shirt, not a tunic.

I just received two of these pima tunics today - one in black and one in periwinkle sky. I am really happy with my purchase as they are true to size and look identical to the picture. I have ordered L.L. Bean's pima cotton t-shirts for years, as I am not disappointed with this new style. The neckline is very attractive, and the tunic is plenty roomy without being overly relaxed. I usually wear a petite size, but I wanted the tunic to be a little longer than described, and I really like long sleeves in the winter. Ordering in a regular size really helped as the tunic is long enough (but not overly so) and the sleeves are about 2 inches from my wrist. I would prefer a little more length in both the sleeves and the tunic, but I will settle for this! The periwinkle sky colour is beautiful - a true periwinkle. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I love the fit and colors of these shirts, I've now ordered 3. The softness of the fabric is wonderful. However, on my Azure one, after 1 washing, the stitching along the bottom hem came undone (this happens a lot on your French Sailor Shirts) for about 4 inches...mind you I don't have a serger sewing machine to fix it properly. Yes I could send it back, but the tread was long enough that I was able to use it to with a regular old sewing needle and fix it by hand....but why should we have to? Your sewers should know how to back stitch before cutting the thread! If it wasn't for the stitching problem, I'd give them 5 stars.

This is a beautiful knit cotton top. However it does't look so good on me. It is a tighter cut and on my older body does not look so good. I would go to a large but the shoulders on the medium are already to big. So sadly I return it.

I wanted this handsome shirt to fit so badly. I ordered a medium awhile back, as that's my normal size. It was too big. I reordered in a small. It is too small. Grrr!

This is a great tunic and it provides good coverage for hips and backside. The cut flows nicely and the fabric is soft but becomes less so after a few washes. My only complaint is that the stitching on the cuff hem came unraveled after only a few washings. All other hems are holding up. I just purchased two more so hopefully their hems will hold up to washing.

I like three-quarter sleeved tops and this one has the advantage of a reinforced split neckline that stands up and doesn't sag. I have many of L.L. Bean's Pima Cotton tops and I have always worn size large. Because of the longer length, I thought I might have trouble with the way it fit across the hips. Instead, this item was surprisingly tight across the shoulders. I exchanged it for size extra large and now the fit is perfect. Thanks for the great customer service!

I ordered this shirt thinking it would be like the split-neck tunic from last year's catalog. I love that one. Unfortunately, the new version is made from fabric that is noticeably thinner. The style is also a bit different, but mostly I'm disappointed in the quality of the fabric.

Wish it was even longer for those of us above 5'5". Also would probably prefer it in a poly/cotton blend for less shrinkage. Overall nice design.

Ordered yellow this summer - liked it well enough so ordered charcoal grey for fall - it was quite a bit larger! But, still fit okay. Most Bean shirts are too short in my opinion, so the tunic style was just right - I am 5'2 and ordered the regular.

The fabric is soft and the fit is comfortable. I like the longer length, good to pair up with leggings and a vest.
