The material is very comfortable, but the shirt itself was a little too "short." I like my tops to hit lower.

It is a very nice top, loved the color and the material, but I ordered a petite and it was just to short for me. I am 5ft 1in. I returned it.

The last few years all sizes and all clothing are skimping on the arm material.. I am hefty and buy a larger size for a reason. The material is the BEST of all companies! However, the short lengths and skimpy arms don't make it a good buy for me.

I bought two of these shirts. The material and colors are great. It really causes a problem at the neck where it is sewn together. It makes a stiff bump which causes the skin to be very sore at that point.
I can't wear them like this.
Maybe they have a suggestion to correct this problem.

The top is OK. Has not been cold yet to wear. I would prefer if it had been 100% cotton but that's on me for not checking more closely when ordering.

Though I love many of these LLB shirts I don't love this one. It has the same lovely material, the same wonderful color selection, the fit is good-a medium works for me though I sometimes wear a large in LLB clothing too. My issue was the neckline. I would not consider this a crew neck, the neck was far too large. A "crew neck" by definition is "close fitting" around the neck which would have been perfect, this is definitely not close fitting. Please make a true crew neck for women. For now I will go back to the men's. Thank you!

I am disappointed in this t-shirt. It is soft, but much much thinner than my usual LLBean Pima cotton shirts.
I would worry wearing this in cold weather, if you know what I mean.
I am donating it rather than returning it but I doubt I order Pima cotton t-shirts again.

I love pima tees but I have to buy womens because of the shrinkage. I don't mind that to get a quality shirt but when the long sleeves shrink to 3/4s and just the right hip length moves up 2 full inches it's no longer a great tee.
Please cut for shrinkage and then I could buy my regular size and wear it proudly.

I was looking specifically for a top with a tighter neckline. When I put this on the neckline was a lot wider than the pictures show. No time to make returns, so I am stuck with it but I would not have bought it is I didn't know it would deviate that much from the picture. Disappointed.

I bought this tee shirt in a couple of colors and really like it except for one thing. It just isn't long enough. I decided to keep the tees because the colors are bright and fresh and the cotton feels beautiful. Even new, however, it rises a bit above the waistline of my pants when I raise my arms. It will only be worse after washing even if shrinkage is minimal. I don't like the chill when my midriff is exposed and I don't think anyone wants to see the navel of a woman in her 60"s! Just another couple of inches in length would have made this a 5-star tee. I am 5'7" and I wear a medium.

Loved this shirt so I ordered a second same size, new color. Still love it, but the sleeves are two inches longer than on the first one. Not good! Would hesitate to order more because I'm not fond of altering clothes that should come right-sized.

LL Bean products are usually great quality and a true fit, but I usually avoid long sleeve tees because the arm length shrinks too much. I usually choose 3/4 length, but once in a while I'll give the long sleeve another try. Unfortunately this one shrunk as usual. After washing, the arms are about 3" too short. Too bad there's no "tall" size options for tops.

I always order these tees for each season. I just bought three of them and all of them a smaller this time. I would recommend ordering the next size.

I had ordered a short sleeve tee this summer and loved it because it was slim fit and nice and long. I am long waisted. This long sleeve version of the same shirt was almost 2 inches shorter and not as slim fit as the short sleeve tee :(

Shirts need to be longer - sleeves and length of shirt. Rides up after one washing. I bought about 10 of these in various colors to wear under suit coat - all of them are the same - too short. I love LLBean as a brand - shirts need to be LONGER!!!

I like the pima cotton tee, up to a point. The slim fit means going up one size to get a roomier fit. This shirt will shrink in the length even if you barely dry it in the dryer and hang to completely dry. Over a period of months, it continually shrinks. It's a good daily wear item that I have in several colors. I wish that the fabric didn't shrink so much over time.

These pima tops are classics. Unfortunately, they shrink considerably, making sizing very difficult. Sleeves are 1 inch shorter after a cold water wash. So is length.
There is no excuse for this. Going a size up is not an answer (too wide).
The supplier is not properly washing the material before cutting & sewing.
Thankfully, returns are "free"... except for gas and time.

Odd thing. I ordered two shirts of a different color. The black one fit perfectly, but the azure one was too tight. So I ordered it again thinking it was an anomoly. But that one was too small as well, so I'm exchanging for a size larger. Wish me luck. I love the black one. Wore it Christmas day under a sweater.

The shirt is soft but my allergies reacted to a strong smell from it. I am disappointed but will be returning because of chemical smell

I don't understand LL Bean's sizing. According to the size charts I should fit just right in a Petite XS. The shoulder and sleeve length fit all right, but there's just a ton of extra fabric in the torso. Like, someone with a waist 10 inches larger could fit in this shirt just fine. It's too bad because I do like LL Bean's fabrics.

I was disappointed to find that the sleeves are too short. I measured the tee, based on the information in the size chart, and found that the actual length was 1 1/2 inches shorter than the size chart indicates. Disappointed as I often buy at LLBean. I had to return the item.

This summer I ordered several long and short sleeved tees to refresh my collection. I've been wearing LLBean's top of the line tees for years. Unfortunately, I did not try on any of them, trusting they were the same shirt I loved. I just put them away for later. Last week I wore the long sleeve in red and it was swimming on me. I checked the size, it says medium petite but it is much larger than my older shirts. And the material is flimsy. I was terribly disappointed and I am a big LLBean fan. Guess it's too late to return them. Now where do I go for top quality basic tees?

I ordered this tee a few weeks ago and loved it. The label said "made in Cambodia". Then I ordered two more and what a disappointment. The fit is similar and it's okay, but the cotton is thinner, much less substance. It hangs differently than the first one ordered. Would like to be able to depend on better quality control from Bean's!

I ordered three of these long sleeve tees. Although they are comfortable, they are too wide/baggy, especially (and strangely) under the arms. I can actually grab a handful of excess material under each arm. I am medium chested (34C) and shouldn't have this much extra fabric at the sides - to the point that it bunches up and is not a smooth fit. A true "slightly fitted" fit should be closer to the body. I have always been a true XS in LLBean sizing, and ordered XS in these shirts. Disappointed.

Searched all over the Internet for this tee in navy. I had to buy it from a competitor. I don't know why LL Bean offers all these bizzaro colors and not a staple like navy.
