A number of times I have found sizing as well as fabric quality to differ between on the one hand the pima shirts in black and on the other hand shirts in all other colors, at least for the L/S and S/S ones and the tank tops. The ones in black have been larger and the quality of the fabric coarser and looser, almost elastic. To avoid further exchanges I have gone down a size for anything in black. Recently I bought L/S shirts in black (size S) and in vintage indigo (size M); comparing for size the, presumably, smaller black one was of the same width and with longer sleeve and body length... The indigo one is true to size but the black one is not. Wish quality and sizing could become consistent across colors as it used to be.

After reading several reviews, and having purchased many of these tees over the years, I, too, have found the fit has changed or inconsistent. After several washings, I have several that have grown in width and shrink in length. Others have retained the original, intended shape. I am in the process of purchasing replacements for the short/wide shirts, hoping the new ones hold up. I do recommend this tee as it is really comfortable, great colors (retain the colors), and have a nice neck hugging crew neck...which is wonderful for ladies of a "certain age."

Best fabric around. I have been buying these tees for years. My only problem is shrinkage in length of bodice and sleeves about 2-3 inches after a couple of washes and drying on low heat. wish they would make these longer to accommodate this.

I bought two of these t-shirts in a petite a few weeks ago and just had a chance to wear them. First time they were washed, they shrunk up at least two inches! Now, I can't wear them anywhere! They also were tighter around as well. No more of these shirts for me. A total waste of money..

I really like the look & feel of the pima tee & own several colors from previous years in a size S. However, this year the size S shrank so much after washing (cold water) that I couldn't wear it. The arms were tight and shorter. I repurchased the tee in a size M & it also shrank after washing but fit nicely. I will purchase the pima tee again.

I have many of these shirts in long and short sleeved styles. I love the comfort and weight of the fabric. The colors and shape stay true through many washings but they do tend to shrink in length. I wash in cold and hang to dry.

Good cotton the color is brighter and less pink than I expected. The name is sun lite coral so I should have known it would be more on the yellow/orange side

Fits close but not tight. I wear a 36B... Could have gone to the medium for a looser fit. Wish these were an inch or longer in torso. Soft and comfy.

The cotton in these shirts is soft and washes well. They are very comfortable. Not true to size though. Recommend ordering the next size up from what you normally would unless you want a snug fit all over. I ordered M which I normally wear in Bean clothing and had to return them for L.

Have purchased many of these Pima cotton tees, and the colors never disappoint, but the russet orange... I thought it would be the orange of the Fiskars scissors handle,or a little deeper, to brighten up a summer wardrobe. I bypassed the russet in the description and looked at the picture instead. The russet orange resembles the color of canned pumpkin. I purchased the ultimate chino straight leg in sage thinking I could wear both as a summer outfit but the tee is going back. This color makes the sage drab. By the way, I am 34" in the chest, and the medium fits just fine.

Since another reviewer indicated that their shirt was shorter than they liked, I ordered both a petite and misses. The petite sizes went back as I agree that they were too short in length. The misses xs had a better length and the sleeve length was just right. Some colors did not look the same in person as compared to my computer image. Light ocean was much duller. The beach glass color looked different too. Otherwise the shirt looks nice.

Love the fabric, and the fit is good. But the length is too short and it doesn't stay tucked in very well. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Comfy - seems to keep the same feel after several washings so far. Does get a little out shape after long time of owning. Guess it's time to get a new one at that point!

I like the color and fit of this shirt other than I think it could be longer. I have not washed it yet and already tucking it back in while wearing it as it comes out of my jeans during the day. I will wash by hand to prevent shrinkage. Otherwise a good fit overall.

The only problem I had was that the sleeves are too long and I had to roll them up a couple rolls. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

very comfortable my only suggestion is to have the neck be a little smaller, it is too wide.

I like the quality of the fabric, but after washing it I compared it to another shirt that was still unwashed and found the washed one had shrunk. The sleeves were 1 1/2" shorter and back length was 1 1/2" shorter. The shirt is now just long enough to tuck in. If it shrinks anymore I may be sending it back. LL Bean please take this into consideration when planning on the lengths of your garments.

I would like it to be a little longer (but, I'm 54 years old), but good quality fabric.

I love the fabric, but wish it would come in a tall size. The sleeves and body could be longer.

Nice quality but if you are a large and want a looser fit, buy the XL If you want it as a bottom layer type tee, then the large is fine

Loved color and texture. Great arm length but did not fit at neck and shoulders. When will plus/women's come in tall and long.

My size puts me between your XS and S - XS is tighter than I'd like, but S is sloppy off the shoulders and under the arms. I've bought several XSs lately , since I generally wear them under a tunic or sweater anyhow. The fabric is more of a concern - I think it's lighter than in the past, and I've ordered from you to avoid the flimsy stuff elsewhere. Please retain a good substantial knit!

Sleeve length too long--MUCH too long. Everything else: A OK!!!

I have 4 of these and use them for layering under my scrubs. Love the fabric and how they launder but I wish that they were longer in the torso. I get x-large because I don't like close fitting things and found that there is a bit of shrinksge.
