I love this material as its very soft and comfortable. It did shrink a bit and unfortunately shrunk a little too much in the length and wish there had been more length to begin with to allow for this.

I do like these tees, have quite a few. The fabric is soft and comfortable. My only complaint is when put into the dryer, they tend to get shorter. Therefore, I air dry them.

Wonderful to find tees that are not too long with sleeves that stop at the end of my wrist; most petite sizes in other brands are too long one place or another. The pima cotton has a silky finish, and may be a good choice for office clothes, but I find I prefer the softer finish of regular cotton tees. I will use it for dressier occasions. ("Dressier" is only relative in my life.)

I loved this, but it was a tad bit too small. The Regular Medium I bought in another color fit better. i am returning this Royal Plum Petite Medium for an exhange to Regular Medium. So soft!

I should have ordered a Petite Smalll .... I am hard to fit, being so short. The sleeves were too long.... and the shirt pretty roomy .... but the quality was very good.

I have this shirt in practically every color they make. It washes well, but over time, the length shrinks up a little (I dry them on medium). They are so very comfortable! I wish they were made a little longer.

It is not an exaggeration to say that I live in these wonderful tees. However, except for the black and white, there is currently not a color I would buy. Why the obsession with circus colors circa 1959? Why not a gray or a rust or a brown?

Please bring this shirt back in charcoal grey. It was absolutely terrific

I buy these by the carload. I thought maybe I should go up a size but the new ones are a big baggy so I'll go back to my previous size (and I won't tell you what that is.). Black, white and some blues and greens. Always red until this time. I wasn't totally happy with the reddish colors and didn't order. I'll just make my old red ones "do" until LLBean comes to their color senses and quits trying to be fashionable. Or maybe I'll find a red elsewhere. I have bought these shirts for years in both short and long sleeve. Occasionally I give the split neck a try. I am a real LLLBean fan. {please, LLB, bring back the straight red. It is my best color Then I'll give you five stars.

It fit fairly well but I fear that after washing it would be too tight. I liked the shirt and the color but sent it back for a larger size.

I love these tees and have ordered many. However they do shrink even though I wash in cold and lightly dry. I wish they were pre shrunk. The sleeves are almost three quarter now after a few washes. I love the 100 % cotton it is so comfortable to wear year round.

This is a wonderful shirt, which is usual with L.L. Bean products. The color was called Marine Red, and it showed as a true red online. However, it was the color of brick, darker reddish/brown. Not a good name for this color. I returned it, and, as usual, Bean's customer service was perfect. Always a satisfying experience dealing with L.L. Bean.

I really like this tee, super comfortable and washes and holds up great for me. The only negative I have is, I would like for it to be a little longer.

I have been buying and wearing these t's for many years. Live on the coast where temperature doesn't change much so wear them year round, practically every day. I have at least 15 in my closet. The last couple of years for some reason the sizing has changed. I always purchased petite large and they fit perfectly. Now petite large is too big, sleeves are too long and bigger in the body. I have gone to petite medium and they are just a bit too small. It seems the lighter colors run bigger than the darker colors. Since I love these shirts so much it has been frustrating trying to find the right fit for me. Also the last couple that I have purchased have poor stitching especially in the sleeves. This fabric holds it's shape washing after washing and I love these t's, but the quality is not what it used to be.

As along time Bean customer I love this shirt. Especially the new more fitted style. However...more colors please. Where is pink? pastel blue? ivory? red? I could ask for more colors. Really need the full range of choices. Maybe even some choices with patterns for even morn modern styling. I love these shirts.

Soft, comfortable and the fit was good - until I washed it. It shrank in the drier.

I have two of these tees, dry them flat and touch up iron. I wish they were a little longer. I struggle with LLBean sizing. I normally wear a medium 8-10. LLBean medium is 10-12, which is too large for me in the chest, so I have to order small and take care in the laundering.

The shirt was true to size before I put it in the washer and dryer. I knew that it was going to shrink, and after I washed it it was a perfect size Medium, my regular size. The shirt is soft and comfortable.

A number of times I have found sizing as well as fabric quality to differ between on the one hand the pima shirts in black and on the other hand shirts in all other colors, at least for the L/S and S/S ones and the tank tops. The ones in black have been larger and the quality of the fabric coarser and looser, almost elastic. To avoid further exchanges I have gone down a size for anything in black. Recently I bought L/S shirts in black (size S) and in vintage indigo (size M); comparing for size the, presumably, smaller black one was of the same width and with longer sleeve and body length... The indigo one is true to size but the black one is not. Wish quality and sizing could become consistent across colors as it used to be.

After reading several reviews, and having purchased many of these tees over the years, I, too, have found the fit has changed or inconsistent. After several washings, I have several that have grown in width and shrink in length. Others have retained the original, intended shape. I am in the process of purchasing replacements for the short/wide shirts, hoping the new ones hold up. I do recommend this tee as it is really comfortable, great colors (retain the colors), and have a nice neck hugging crew neck...which is wonderful for ladies of a "certain age."

Best fabric around. I have been buying these tees for years. My only problem is shrinkage in length of bodice and sleeves about 2-3 inches after a couple of washes and drying on low heat. wish they would make these longer to accommodate this.

I bought two of these t-shirts in a petite a few weeks ago and just had a chance to wear them. First time they were washed, they shrunk up at least two inches! Now, I can't wear them anywhere! They also were tighter around as well. No more of these shirts for me. A total waste of money..

I really like the look & feel of the pima tee & own several colors from previous years in a size S. However, this year the size S shrank so much after washing (cold water) that I couldn't wear it. The arms were tight and shorter. I repurchased the tee in a size M & it also shrank after washing but fit nicely. I will purchase the pima tee again.

I have many of these shirts in long and short sleeved styles. I love the comfort and weight of the fabric. The colors and shape stay true through many washings but they do tend to shrink in length. I wash in cold and hang to dry.
