Exactly as I hoped warm, fine textured and comfortable an excellent replacement for worn out smart wool base layers. I'm not crazy about the sleeve length, preferring cap sleeves on T-shirts, but since this is an under layer, it makes little difference. They tend to lie flat under the next layer just fine.

Bought this on sale and very excited about it. Sleeves are on the tighter side and a big longer than regular t-shirt (I think), but that means a little bit of extra warmth. Not too itchy for being 100% merino wool, but if you have super sensitive skin it might bother you? I am 6 ft 150 lb and sometimes order a M at LL Bean, but the S fits well and is a nice, snug (but not too tight fit).

Very comfortable for summer hiking. Based on other reviews, I bought a size larger than usual and am happy with the fit.

Loved the fabric and the color, but even the XL on me was just a little too tight for comfort.

Working in a chilly office, I just bought this to keep warm without piling on sweaters in October... in the south. It is perfect. Warm. Soft. Smooth enough to wear under other shirts. Just went back to buy more (for myself and daughters) and see the item is "sold out." Please bring it back. The only improvement is to make that neckline a little lower so I can wear it under everything.

Very soft, comfortable and quick-drying. Wore it 2 days on a backpacking trip, without washing. Not smelly at all.

I love these wool t-shirts. They feel good in all weather, hot or cold. I'm not very allergic to wool so they don't itch. If I wear low-quality wool hats or sweaters, they make me itch. I can wear them for a few days while camping and there is not body odor. These need to be washed and handled with care or they will get holes and stretch out of shape.

Comfortable bae layer for hiking as well as alone around town. Great for sailing too.

This shirt is perfect for wearing under blouses instead of a vest on top. In addition, I would like one with elbow length sleeves, but don't stop offering this length. Other colors would be nice too. The long sleeved ones are so limiting because of the crazy long sleeves.

Not my first one! This can add just a little warmth when you wonder if you want an extra layer. The merino wool is good and soft. It is often just the right addition for me/

This is a good basic merino tee. It washes well and is not itchy. I wish they had more colors.

This is just a wonderful addition to my winter workout clothing. There will be a list of activities below, asking what I have done while wearing this shirt. I easily think that there isn't one thing on that list which wouldn't be a good activity to wear it for! The fit is wonderful and I love the material.

Smooth fabric, comfortable fit. Thick enough to wear as a shirt, but I really like it best as a base

I just got this shirt, and I think I've worn it about five out of the last six days. I wore it hiking, I wore it to the gym. I wore it around the house, under various sweaters or jackets or by itself. It's true that the wool is both cool and warm, and doesn't retain odors even when you sweat profusely in it. I got the medium, which comes in under 4 ounces (in case you are counting, like maybe if this was going with you on a backpacking trip). It is form fitting but doesn't feel clingy. The fabric has a nice drape to it. In the light purple color, which is basically lilac, the fabric is slightly sheer. You definitely either have to wear something under it (e.g. a bra) or something over it. I'm getting another one in the other color. I wish there were more colors.

I've always worn the silk long underwear, but tried this one as I needed short sleeves. I was skeptical as I generally don't wear wool next to my body, but it's great. Maybe not as warm as the silk, but good for the sale price.

Perfect merino tee. Runs small for typical llbean sizing. Got a med when I'm usually a small in llbean

Fits nicely. Thinner, but I knew that before I bought. Wicks wetness very well. Wore it hiking, lightly sweating, then wore it for sleep. Does not hold odor, yay! Washed once, and it did not strink. I'm 5' 6", 154 pounds, pear shape, ordered a medium.

Quality wool T-shirt. Runs a bit small, so size up. Nice and warm base layer.

Well constructed, nice color. It is had to find an affordable merino wool Tshirt that isn't transparent or too thick and itchy. Just did not care for exterior tag between neck and shoulders. Otherwise nice cut.

Ordered a larger size so that it could be worn alone sometimes, although I primarily wanted it for layering. Very pretty color.
