I react poorly to sun exposure and look for coverage throughout the year. I purchased one of these suncatcher shirts and then bought the other two colors. The fabric is very lightweight and is actually cooler than being sleeveless. The sun protection is excellent. I wear them to work at our farm stand and get them plenty dirty, but they always wash up well. An excellent product.

I bought this for the beach and have also worn for outdoor sports. It's lightweight, well made and comfortably loose. Though could be too warm for southern summers wetting the shirt would make it very cool. I love it!

This Sun Shirt is very well made. I bought it in large because I did not want a tight fit, and it's perfect for me.

Great top! Clear bright colors and doesn't wrinkle!

This is my third time ordering these tops. The fit was consistent with last year. I love the bright colors. Got bright yellow last year and the bright coral orange color this year to wear while paddling for visibility/safety. I wish the coral color was still available in the zip neck. Several years ago the bright blue was made in a thicker material and I wish that was stll the case (those were 5 star). The thinner material stretches out easier, but I still love them and will keep ordering if the colors stay bold and bright.

This served its purpose of protection from the sun, so I didn't have to keep applying sunblock. The fit was a bit large, but comfortable. I got the Medium, I'm usually a Small or Medium, I could have fit a t-shirt under this which is nice for sweaters but not what you wear to the beach to protect from the sun's rays. The color was lovely, the feel was nice.

Love the color, lightweight nature of fabric, and fit. One problem is no grippy strip at the bottom that helps it not rise up in the water.

This is a very comfortable shirt and is great protection from the sun. I wear it in a pool and wish it was a little thicker.

Wish it came in petite but love the coverage from the sun!

These shirts are cut very comfortably, and are pretty. I have some from past years, and they were a little thicker and smoother, thus cooler in the heat./

Returned this item for a size smaller as it billowed up on me in the water.

The shirt itself fit just fine. The problem was the care instructions. It has to be hand washed and then line dried. This is a big pain .

Bought this to wear to the pool after I'd had a skin cancer scare. It definitely did its job! But then I noticed I was getting a hand tan (not LL Bean's fault, just stating the facts) so now only wear it occasionally. It's so nice, when wearing, not to have to worry about keeping sunblock up on my back, shoulders & chest though.

True to size. Nice material, comfortable.

Color was very nice. Material felt good on my skin. Shirt was a bit roomy through the chest and waist but overall comfortable. Sleeves and across the shoulder area were just righ on met. Still need to apply sunscreen to the exposed chest and the neck areas.

I take a medium and this medium was too snug it made me feel like I was stuffed into the shirt I wanted it for sun protection while cycling or with the kids.

Nice sheerness material, need downsize 1 size, baggy

I like the top but it requires hand washing, so that is is the downside.

I returned this because the shirt must be handwashed and line dried. I should have read the description more carefully. I bought lemon pie color. Like the color and fit, but don't want the bother of handwashing. Also the yellow color is somewhat transparent so underclothes show through a little bit.

Great shirt but -Need basic colors that does not glow in the dark White - grey - black

Lightweight swim shirt with a very loose fit. I found it very comfortable but the neck line stretched out leaving it uneven and gaping.

Wrong color for me. I returned it. Had thought from looking at it in the catalog that it was more of a light lime green color. I think LL Bean would sell A LOT of these shirts if it was actually a light lime green color.
