Great vest for travel.lightweight and takes little room in luggage. Just enough to keep one warm

I really like the vest, but not th pocket. I would prefer an inside pocket. I especially like the length since needing to be warm doesn't stop at my waist.

I usually wait for a sale but not this time.I ordered the sailcloth color and it looks great over all my flannel shirts. The light color makes it look dressy and I love the longer length. Will wear over light sweaters also.

Perfect weight. Never thought I would be needing a vest. I wear it in the house I wear it outside it's my new love. It's great for me at 67 years old to keep that chill off of my back. Which I never thought I would need. But I'm glad LL Bean is always there for me as I age. It is just a beautiful fit 42-in bust I love the quality I can wear it under or over it's just extremely versatile I did purchase it from another review of an older lady that got chilled. Now as I've gotten older I notice I get chilled and it works.

This long vest is just my "latest" L.L. Bean vest order. Obviously, I have been VERY satisfied with all of my PRIOR purchases! I especially like the LONGER LENGTH of this vest. It covers more "territory" on my body (HIND END); it adds warmth to my CORE; is easily removable if unneeded; works well with a VARIETY of outfits. I LOVE and TRUST L.L. Bean for the QUALITY of their products. I have MANY L.L. Bean products (flannel shirts are a favorite!) and MANY of these clothing items have been in my wardrobe for MANY YEARS. I live in Northern Minnesota. Our winter weather? Similar to Maine, perhaps? (OR MAYBE MAINE IS WARMER!!!???).

Sweater vest is more than I expected. Fits to size. Its long in the back and doesnt roll or bunch up. The material seems to be durable yet soft. Its good for layering or by itself. I bought the blue and I am pleased with the color.

This is comfy and warm, and trim fitting. It fits perfectly under any weight jacket but looks great by itself because of the attractive tailoring. I ordered a larger size because I like a longer vest. Mine was gray and matches other gray garments I have.

The longer length is nice, and the vest looks more slimming unzipped. I tried it on in the store. The smaller size (L) looks tight and just wrong for this style. I got the XL which fits properly. I got the off white color.

I love it. The Large is just right. I called and asked the size range and the 42 bust is perfect for me. I love the length it covers my butt. It keeps my core body warm when I get chilled in the fall changing weather. The cream color goes with everything, zips up easily and looks stylish. I never owned a vest before and this is perfect for that chill..

The vest is a good choice for me now. I live in assisted living and it is frequently chilly and a warm vest works well when inside.

Perfect layer to ward off a chill without the bulk of a regular down-filled vest. Takes up much less space in my luggage for "what if" weather

This vest was absolutely perfect on a California beach in early April. I have worn it lots in our Colorado climate changed spring.

I like being able to go for a quick walk or to do errands without taking a purse or backpack. This vest does it all: a little extra warmth, and lovely pockets for cll phone, keys and maybe a credit card.

This vest is so comfortable! Like other reviewers, I removed the chest pocket and ordered the petite to get a slightly shorter vest, even though I'm 5'8". I would definitely consider buying more in other colors - my first is the light gray.

Great vest to add a little extra warmth. I lost my first vest and I'm so glad I could still replace it. I wear it often and the sailcloth color goes with everything.

This is super comfortable and the collar is very soft against your neck which is an unexpected plus. Good fit too!
