After a few wears, I feel like I can write a great review! I bought this for a combination of walking and hiking in Rhode Island. (relatively mild weather, living near the coast) I size down to a small based on others recommendations, generally finding medium to be a great fit, especially in a vest when one wants to layer beneath it. I like the shape and the nice longer length. Pockets are ideal, including the chest pocket for lip balm. The weight is significant. I felt comfortable with a thin layer walking this morning at 40. This has the look and feel and specs of an every day vest, which could take you from errands to the woods.

Gave this vest to my Mother-in-law for Christmas. She loves it and wears it constantly around the house and for quick trips outside!
