Comfortable after worn for a little bit. Started out as stiff, but it's getting better. It's a little longer than I thought it would be, but it looks ok.

I love the jacket fleece.. so I got the vest.. both in grey... love them.. except no petite option for the vest and it's pretty long on my body..id give it a five if they had a small in petite.. also wish they had a deep burgandy/ forest green/ navy colors

This fits well and looks great. The longer length is both flattering and warm. I did carefully pick off the pocket on the front. Why do designers think that women want a zip pocket on their chest? It also got rid of the label, which was especially obvious because I bought the vest in white.

I'm tall so I try to buy tall clothing. I purchased the gray sweater fleece long vest. It fits very well. However there is a large white patch on the front with the Bean logo on the top in white which sticks out very obviously. It would have been so much better if you had just put on the L.L.Bean as you do with all of your clothing.

This vest has been a great addition to my walking attire. Here in the South, a vest is often a best choice for an outside walk especially in late February. The pockets are also deep and zipped, perfect for outdoor exercise. I'm not a fan of the green LL Bean patch on the front pocket. Not a fan of any advertising on clothing but if you must, something less "patchy" would be preferable.

I ordered this online, in size extra small, so the smallest size available, and initially I felt it was too big and baggy. I thought I would return it, but also considered taking it to a tailor to have the waist taken in maybe 2-3 inches. I tried it on over various types of shirts, and tried it as a mid layer under my down sweater jacket and my more lofty down long parka, and it surprisingly wears very well underneath both. I wanted a vest that would look great for casual wear, but could also layer easily for extra warmth underneath my coats. This vest does both! And I really loved the longer length, so I decided to keep it and have worn it a lot over the past few weeks. The zipper pull fell off one of the hand pockets on the first day I wore it, but thankfully I was able to put it back on. Hopefully this won't continue to be an issue! It's a very soft, cozy, and nice-looking vest. Might be nice to offer it in petite sizes too, and ensure the zipper pulls are secured well. Overall I'm really happy with it so far!

I wear vests in the house and this one is nice and warm.

Initially I did not like the feel of the outside but now I do. I guess I am use to the fleece feel on the outside.

I sometimes need an extra small and sometimes a small from LLBean. I ordered the xtra small, since some reviewers said it ran large. It fit ok, but I found the look much more rugged than I had wanted. I needed something I could at least wear to the supermarket, but this looks like something made for hiking in the woods. Perhaps it's that obvious LLBean monogram on the upper chest pocket. Not sure. I returned it.

I am always between a small and a medium in LL Bean clothing. After much debate, I bought the medium. It is a little longer in the back and leaves some room for layering underneath. If I had been looking for a trimmer fit, I would have chosen the small. It's warm and soft and is exactly what I was looking for and will buy another color. I gave it four stars because I would prefer the logo to be less prominent.

I would buy another one if they had better colors. (I got the reddish color) Because it is almost tunic length, especially in back, it is slimming. It is just a tad big on me but I can get away with it, the signature line fits me better. It's a nice weight for our Minnesota winters.

Happy so far. Have a number of old fleece vest from LLBEAN, but this is first sweater vest. Like the extra length & warmth. Got medium which fits over a light sweater for me. Only complaint is with not having a 2 way zipper with the extra length... very inconvenient when sitting either at home or wearing in car making short errands. Would like other colors also like a true navy blue!! Worn it only a few times so haven't washed it yet...

Bought the medium and small. I am usually in between medium and small, in LLBean clothes, but normally am a solid M or L in other brands. Runs a bit big and will keep the small. Like the longer length, and will only buy longer length vests. This one juuuuust covers my tush, but is shorter in the front. I do wish it were an inch or two longer overall. However, it will be a good layering piece for all seasons with a long sleeve/dress/flannel underneath for work or for play. It is a medium weight fabric more on the thinner side, but isn't super thin. It should help keep your core cozier around the house, at the office, or the classroom.

I purchased this sweater vest a month ago. Unlike previous sweater vests I have purchased from L.L. Bean, the collar on this can't be turned down. A disappointment. And zipping it can be a challenge two out of three times.

Just ok - wear around house. Please decrease the size of your logo on the front - I'm not a walking billboard. For that reason I won't wear it to work - looming for an infinity scarf or pin to cover the HUGE bean logo

I have one of the original long Sweater Fleece Vests and I LOVE it; I wear it almost every day when the weather changes. LL Bean, like most companies, has changed their styles and sizing. I will be returning this vest as the extra piece of material in the back doesn't sit flat but sticks out. It looks ridiculous and like it's too large on me. And what's up with the pocket on the front? Useless!!

Vest was longer than I expected, and warmer too. I ordered mainly to get the off-white color, but had to return the vest because it was not what I needed, mainly for indoors.

I bought this vest December 11th and love the design, length and color. However, I have only had it 3 months and it is pilling terribly especially in the front and on the collar. Pet hair just adheres to it like glue. I am extremely disappointed in the pilling and wonder what can be done about this.

Really liked this vest though it was a little stiff . thought that it would sent it back, got another, zipper wouldn't work, sent it back and said didn't want this vest. Received another! zipper worked but sluggishly

I carefully studied the sizing guides before purchasing this vest and even went with a size larger than I would normally get in a different brand. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was still much smaller than what the sizing chart showed for this size, and I had to return it. Return process is not very transparent. Even to this day I still don't know whether the return was received and credited to my account. I guess, I'll have to wait for the next credit card statement to find out.

If only LLBeans would stop adding patch pockets of a different fabric and/or color. This stupid patch pocket ruins this vest. I will return it

The vest is long as promised. Side vents too small to keep vest from bunching up while sitting. I extende them an additiola 1 1/2 inches. Also not fan of elastisized binding on collar. Unable to turn collar to lay flat when partially zipped.
