Very warm and comfortable and the color is great with my other clothes: pocket easily holds my phone.

The vest style is a great addition to the sweater fleece line of products. I ordered this as a gift for my daughter. She and I already had the sweater style in several colors. They are perfect for our New England weather.

I love the classic LL Bean style along with the longer length. It's the perfect layer to throw on over most anything while working from home in a drafty basement.

I love this vest! It's the second one I have purchased. It makes a perfect layering piece for outdoors with a coat or paired with a knit scarf to run errands. I have both the gray and the cream color, and if it came in more colors - other than pink - I would have purchased another.

This vest is really lovely. I purchased the Sailcloth color and have now purchased another in Pewter. It fits perfectly just skimming my body when zipped. My waist is 36". Very nice details throughout and lots of handy pockets. The tight-knit sweater weave with the light fleece inside is very soft and comfy. My bum is covered nicely too! I'll be wearing this all fall and winter.

This vest is longer than others I have and will keep my lower back warmer. The fabric is soft and things don't stick to it like they do to fleece. The fit is great. Two pockets to keep my hands warm. Overall, very nice vest!

Super cozy, fits just right, falls slightly below the hips so it covers my butt a little. Like it a lot, perfect to layer with a long sleeve tshirt for a cool fall evening.

smart-looking and cozy vest. the stitching details, lines, contrast color give it nicer look than a plain fleece vest. looks good from front and back. very soft and flexible fabric. collar just right for warmth. xlnt versatile vest.

Bought for my Wife it Keeps Her Warm with out wearing a Coat!

The sailcloth color is very nice and the interior fleece is very soft. I love the length (mid hip with the drop tail covering my backside) much better than regular length vests as it doesn't rise up. Typical for Bean vests, it runs a bit large. I am a size 12 but prefer XL coats for the extra room and no cling. I got the large which is roomy like the XL Bean sweater jacket in the same material. It's very warm and looks great over sweaters and plaid shirts.

Recently purchased and so far very pleased with the style (longer length), warmth and pockets.

The collars on all the new fleece vests, sweaters and jackets are too high. Go back to the one that have been sold for the past decades.

I find this vest very warm and I like the color too, but I do find the collar a bit stiff.

I love the green sweater-y fabric of this vest, it's a lovely color, and the pockets are great. As a short person, I have mixed feelings about how the long length looks on me, but I appreciate the warmth over my hips. My big beef is the collar- it is cut and sewn in a way that makes it always stand straight up, and it's hard to get it to lay flat. On cold mornings it's nice to keep the heat in around your neck, but as the day warms up, it gets in the way.

I like a long tail top but this was several inches too long and looked odd on me. Like I was trying to wear my dad's vest. I'm 5'6 and wear a Medium. Otherwise, I liked the look and feel.

I like this very much and am wearing it. The reason for 4 stars is that I dislike the obvious pocket and would remove it if I had the ability to do so.

I'm 5'11" and slender, this covers my butt. I used a seam ripper to remove the big ugly pocket. Looks great now.

I like this vest. I gave it 4 stars because it is long and it would be way better with a 2 way zipper to facilitate sitting. Also, I took the pocket off of the front because I saw absolutely no need or purpose for it to be there. I felt the pocket distracted from the look of the vest. I have the jacket and it doesn't have a pocket there. I like the vest itself and wear it frequently, but it would be easier to sit if I could unzip it from the bottom as well as the top.

I do like this, but it was a bit bigger than expected. The material is somewhat stiff, so I found it a tad bulky. Over it is a good product, I just didn't fully understand the sizing.

I wanted to like this vest. Loved the green color and the length I the back, but I didn't care for how the front laid. It bulged out at the waist when sitting. If it had a 2 way zipper, I could have unzip it partly when sitting. I returned it.

I've had my current LLBean fleece vest for years and it still looks good. However, I've lost some weight and thought I'd treat myself to a new one. What happened to blue and black?
