Fits just right. Haven't washed yet but love how long it is. Light and easy wear for spring and fall.

I purchased this Vest to wear for my ice skating practices. It is roomy enough for all of the movement required yet looks nicely tailored. I would probably have purchased a size small if I didn't need it to cover my padded skating bottoms.

I had rather low expectations since I normally purchase petite sizes. However, this vest (at least in cream/white) definitely exceeded my expectations. Look closely at the refined side pockets. The zipper pull tab doesn't show, the pocket seam is edged with white fabric. Great for dog walking as the pockets are plenty big for a large phone, dog bags, dog treats and keys. The semi-empire waist seam is flattering even on short-bodied me. Easy to wear with tights since it covers my bum. I didn't think I would like the white solid color upper pocket, but it would be too plain without it. The vest is warm when zipped up, and easy to cool down with it unzipped. Wish it came in other more interesting colors like lavender, for example. The XL is a bit large on me, but when the pockets are filled with dog-walking items, it is better to have the larger size.

I love this vest - especially because I am tall and it sits at my hips. It is true to size and I wore it almost every day. I hope more colors are made for next year - black and red would be great.

This vest is my go to item when the house is a little cold, or the weather is a little chilly. The vest is the perfect weight when I just need a little extra.

This was a gift for my mom and she loved it. She says it keeps her warm enough without needing another layer. She liked the fit and feel and the color.

This is just as it looks. I think I would have preferred another color. But it's lightweight and does what it's made to do.

This vest is just what I needed. It fits perfectly, and is a bit longer to keep your bum warm. I would recommend this vest. It's worth it. Comfortable, warm, but not too warm.

I really wanted to buy this item, but I didn't because of the logo. PLEASE quit putting the logo on everything! I purchase llbean products because I like them, not because I want to be an unpaid walking billboard.

Perfect fit. Love the length. Just right when playing sports. Pocket size is perfect for the tennis balls.

I was looking for something to wear in those moments when I was a bit cool indoors. Also love that I can add it as an additional layer under my outerwear. It is just the right weight for me!

I am 5'2" and 135lbs and wear size S or M in most brands and XS or S in most LL Bean tops - generally, I think they run large, and this vest fits that trend. I purchased in an XS, and the fit is loose enough to wear over a sweater but snug enough to wear under most jackets. The slightly fitted empire waist is very flattering, especially for a light colored vest (I purchased sailcloth), and the length of the vest is warm and works well with leggings or long tops. The sweater fleece material is soft enough that I don't feel like I'm wearing outerwear if I wear the vest around inside. The front pocket is big enough for an ID or credit card, but I have not used it for anything yet because the size zip pockets are large, and the two large inside pockets behind them are also very handy. This vest is a great way to add more pockets to an outfit! I have worn it almost every day this winter.

I really like the style of the sweater vest. I have been searching for a vest that was longer and fit below the hip.

I was looking for a vest to wear indoors when my long sleeve shirt isn't quite warm enough. I am large chested, so when I read that this vest is fitted, I chose the large size. The top fits nicely, and I could even wear a heavier shirt or light fleece under it and still have it fit. However, the bottom is a little too roomy for my shape. Since the size is as advertised, and it is super comfortable, I give it five stars.

I like this vest because it looks nice and fits well. Also I like the inside pocket to hold my cellphone. The vest goes with a lot of my tops. I wear it on different occasions for an elegant casual look.

I love the sweater fleece coat I got a couple of years ago so much that I decided to try a vest this time. I'm glad I did, as it's a very nice piece. It looks great over any number of plaid shirts with jeans and my L.L. Bean boots. I guess it's a little longer than maybe the jacket (hence the name, "long vest"), but I didn't find it to be too long (even though I'm short). The length and other aspects of sizing were all good for me. It's roomy enough to zip up over any shirt but looks good unzipped too. It's very well made and I think I'll enjoy it for years to come.

The sweater fleece long vest fits well at my height of 5feet 4 inches and 120 pounds. I like the added length and the additional warmth. The faded egg plant color adds variety to my wardrobe.

I initially bought a small because I have a medium in the coat and without the shoulders, it should have fit. The small was very big on me and I exchanged for the x-small and that fits very well. I have never had an x-small item of clothing before. Love the length and the fabric is soft. Looks good zipped up or open.

This vest is very comfy and warm. I absolutely love that the vest covers most of my bottom! It's comfy and it covers! Win/win!!
