I bought this bathing suit in the gorgeous Classic Teal Blue Watercolor, which is a beautiful subtle print that almost acts like a solid. I have a long torso, but the 10 fits me perfectly. Altho the straps are easy on/easy off (no dislocating your shoulder with this suit) they hold the top up well and nothing is exposed on the side. Leg cut is flattering - high enough to make my short legs look good, but full coverage for my rearend, and the leg elastic is supportive not tight. The V neck is flattering and nothing is spilling out. This bathing suit gives nice support of the tummy, bosom, and bum, but does not cause squishing out of the armpit area or thighs. It's so flattering! And LL Bean customer support excels. I tried this on in the store to decide between sizes, but then the 10 was not available in the store in the color I wanted. A sales rep in the store ordered it for me, and it arrived at my house a few days later. LL Bean is the best, and they carry the best bathing suits for women. They are stylish and last for years.

Love this so much that I purchased the other color option.

I purchased the first suit of identical type in Sept 2017 and wore it 2-3 times a week in a brominated indoor pool (harsher than chlorine) for an hourlong very active (lots of jumping) water aerobics class, then relaxing in a hot tub for 20 minutes. In about 8 months, it was no longer wearable because the outer fabric had stretched out however the lining was still supporting my core body. I own a few backup suits, but was much happier replacing it with the same one purchased in Sept 2017. I love the fit and comfort of this suit over many others I have purchased from LLBean. Thanks for still carrying it!

Liked the color and fit.Like to swim when I travel and as I get older I still want to look nice and modest.

I was very skeptical that this bathing suit would fit or that I could successfully purchase a suit through the catalog without trying it on 1st. I shocked myself. I ordered the right size on the 1st try, only ordered this 1 bathing suit, and it turned out to be a perfect fit. I love the fabric and the construction, and it's very comfortable. I'm glad I ordered it & I highly recommend it. Finally, I think it runs true to size, and washes nicely. (I wore it a lot last week on a family vacation at the ocean.)

I'm not very tall (5'5"), but I have a fairly long torso, with a little extra "stuff" around the middle. This suit fits perfectly, both in terms of length and smoothing out my middle. Excellent purchase!

You know they say third time is the charm... I had ordered swimsuits from 2 other online retailers and returned them all. I had made up my mind that LL Bean would be my last try, after which I'd continue to use my old suits. Well,well,well. You hit it just right for me LL Bean! This suit was made of very nice fabric and the pattern looked prettier at home than online. Slimming, but not to tight. The ruching at the sides helps camouflage those unattractive bits that some of us women have. Good fit all around. I ordered a size 12, I'm 5'4" and 147 lbs. Needless to say, this suit was the keeper!

Very good quality. Fabric is very study. Swimsuit is very flattering. Size 12 fit perfect. I'm 5ft 4in 130 pounds. Best swimsuit I have owned.

At a sale at LL Bean I picked a bathing suit my size but didn't notice the 'Long'. on the tag. It fit perfectly. I am short 5' but long waisted. I am always looking for a petite size except for pants. It never occurred to me to get a 'long'. The bathing suit is very slimming (120 pounds) but most of it is on my backside. Now I don't need to tug on my bathing suit

I'm in a somewhat unique position: an 80-year old woman in pretty good shape learning to swim for the first time. (Getting rid of fear is wonderful!) This suit does the job. It's easy to pull on in the locker room, stays in place during lessons and practice swims, doesn't clutch or gap in embarrassing places and looks quite nice without the stiff, tight infra-structure that so many other swimsuits are cursed with. I'm rather small on top and the soft bra conforms nicely to the girls; and while I'm a little poochy around the waist, I feel it's my job to strengthen my core, not a swimsuit's. My one complaint -- a very small one -- is that the fit becomes a little loose in the butt after an hour in the pool, but I supposed that's what "tugless" means. I'll be buying another in this category if I can find one in a color I like. (Why so many bright blues and turquoises, LL Bean? They may be fine in bright sunlight but they make a woman look like death warmed over under the lights of an indoor pool at the Y.)

This suit arrived today and is a keeper. It is the nicest swimsuit that I have had in a long time. I will share that I am 5'4" and 153lbs. I got the size 14, (I could also wear a 12) and it fits me well. Comfortable and the colors and style look just as pictured.

I'm 5'11" & have a problem with Bean one piece suits being long enough. This one in long is ok, it would be nice if there was an extra inch but it's comfortable enough. I really like the style and the palm print, it does seem more green than blue but that's okay. I was concerned the hidden power mesh panel might be uncomfortable, I plan to swim in this suit not loll around the pool, it isn't at all. Wish there were other patterned fabrics, may still buy another in black.

I would have rated it a 5 except for one minor flaw. The back fits to loosely around the legs. A bit of sewing to improve the fit corrected the problem. A a bit of elastic would also have improved the fit. I do wish it could be machine washed on a delicate cycle. But, that is a minor issue. I wear it for aggressive water aerobics and it allows for easy mobility. If it holds up to chlorine over time I will be extremely satisfied. I've only used it three times so far.

I like this swimsuit. The only thing that could be better, is the leg openings are too large.

Very nice suit but in my case the too was too large so I returned it. If your between sizes maybe consider the smaller.

I tried many bathing suits from different brands and this one was the most wearable. It would fit better if the bra had underwire breast support. The bottom fit was loose. Altogether acceptable.

This is a great suit, very flattering and the fit is great. I just wish it had adjustable straps.

I loved everything about this suit except one thing, which was a deal breaker. The fabric/lining on the front of the suit was noticeably darker than the identical fabric on the back. After trying it on and noticing this, I phoned customer service. They were aware and explained that the back of the suit had white on the back side, and the front was lined in black. It gave the appearance of two different shades. The suit fit so well, and I liked it so much, so I tried it on again. I wanted so much to keep it, but didn't want to feel self conscious every time I wore it to the pool.

This is nice suit. The only issue I have with it is I wish the back was lined black the same as the front. The material on the back has a white backing even though the suit is black with blue stripes. This gives the back a lighter color than the front. Other than that I'm happy with it. The straps stay put when wet and [t's a nice looking swimsuit.

The bra pads fold up and make your breast look weird. The fabric is nice and hasn't stretched out. The colors have not faded after many washed. Overall, I would buy this product again.

Overall this is a very nice bathing suit. I sent back the size 10 regular and replaced it with size 8 long. The fit was better, but the straps seem to be a bit loose. The suit does not dry quickly. I am glad I purchased the suit on sale with my Bean Bucks.

Nice suit but too big in the bust for me. I ordered a 12L and am a 36B. The suit fit well over my hips and was the right length. Had to return.

Fits well in the waist and bum but a tad too large in the bust. Like the color and style.

Looks good, but it's still winter, so it will be awhile before I can do more than try it on.

My only reservation about this otherwise fabulous suit is the absence of back lining. After some weeks, based on past experience, it will become a strangely bi-colored garment. When I first happened upon this style it was fully lined, making it absolutely perfect (except for the cleavage tuck I need to take as an over-amply endowed swimmer - but that only takes a minute or two). I hope you can return to the former fabric (Italian, I believe) and full lining! Thanks for "listening".
