Love the fit and the original pattern. However it started fading with the first wearing in the pool. Some bright colors completely bleached out.

I had bought a similar tankini from LL Bean last year that fits me perfectly. I wanted to get the same suit this year perhaps in another pattern. Unfortunately, as often happens, that suit no longer is available in Plus size. So I bought this one which looked very similar but with a different neckline. It is about 4 inches longer in the front than in back. When I'm standing straight the front completely covers the tankini bottom. It should look like it does on the model, ending at the hip. The material is thicker than usually used in suits. AND the front is completely lined which adds to the bulk. The top and rushing are nice. I have cut out the inner lining and will try to shorten the front next time I pull out my sewing machine.

I think the ruching around the stomach actually accentuates my post partum/pandemic belly. It also felt quite tight and uncomfortable (granted this was out of the water). I'm learning this is generally a rule for ruching (not just LL Bean ruching) -- it doesn't hide _my_ moderate-size belly at least.

The colors and pattern were beautiful and while it technically "fit", there was ZERO support for the girls! How can you expect to go swimming with no support? All I had to do was raise my arms and both girls escaped out the bottom of the elastic band. No bueno. Sent it back.

I should have listened to the reviewers and ordered up a couple of sizes! It is cute though!

After reading the reviews, I ordered a size up and it was still very snug and uncomfortable. In the back, it created muffin tops, unlike the other LL Bean tankinis which are a size down from this. The bra area reminded me of something my grandmother wore. I bought three but cut the tags off one so I guess I'm stuck with it. I'm returning the others and buying my usual LL Bean tankinis.

I should have taken the advice of others who bought this tankini, I'm a 12P & I ordered the Regular 12, well it ran very small. Be sure to order up a size if you order this. My measurements were exact to their sizing chart. I was very disappointed because i really liked the suit. not sure if i'm reordering or not.

I like the suit and it was comfortable. However after wearing it for 3 or 4 times I noticed that the white parts of the suit on the front turned a dingy yellow while the back stayed perfectly white.

I was truly dismayed with this tankini top. I had already tried another that didn't fit well and had high hopes for this one, based on reviews and chat with customer service. My normal size in clothing is 12-14. The representative suggested ordering a 14 and I did. I could barely get the top on and was wondering how on earth I was going to get it off! It took serveral minutes to wriggle out of it. Apart from being way too small, the material is double layered, supposedly for a slimming effect (?), but in fact, that made it very bulky and dreadfully unflattering (and I am small at the waist compared to bust and hips). I give it 2 stars because the material was good quality and well constructed. It must fit somebody, but not me! No way would I post a pic of myself in this, although it would indeed be worth a thousand words.

This is a cute swimsuit but was not flattering for my figure. I am shortwaisted. Even though I go up a size in swimwear it still felt tight and uncomfortable. Had to return.

LLBean, I hope you will bring back this pretty tile fabric pattern and blue colors next season, but in a scoop tank top. I really liked the color and pattern. For me, the "slimming" style accentuated my bulges instead of hiding them. This style would be good for thinner people.

I love the look of the Tankini Top, but it was way too small, although I ordered it in my regular size. I know that the item is labeled as slimming, but I could barely get it on to try it out. I would advise ordering at least one size up from your usual size.

I would have given this one star, but it is well made. Having said that, go up at least 2 sizes. Even then, only choose this if you like a snug fit and are not curvy at all.

The tankini top seemed well-made and of good quality, but the size 16 was more like an 8. I couldn't even get it over my shoulders. I had to return it. I'm not sure how the sizing could be so far off - perhaps it was mis-marked, but the suit, tag and bag all said the same size. I was very disappointed, for this price, sizing should be correct.

The model in the photo must be 6 feet tall or have a very long torso since a size 8 (I'm 5'5" and I'm pretty close to standard size 8 measurements) came all the way to the top of my thighs as if it were a dress. (I also didn't like the tropical print as much when I saw it.)

The color was great but I'm short-waisted and it was too long and since the bottom didn't match it was very unflattering.

I am sending it back, not flattering and pricey as well.

Very Expensive ! Not worth the price The material is very thin. I put the same teeny top last year very nicely made!! THIS YEAR.. I don't know not the same at all.

While the bathing suit was comfortable and true to size, it came with its own flotation device. The bust area filled with air puffing up the top. Even after releasing the air multiple times, there was nothing I could do to stop it.

I did not like this tankini since when wet, it expands and rides up on my midriff. I would not have chosen this top if I had known it would do this. Definitely not worth the money

Was not clear the top and bottom were not part of the same order. Size was what I usually wear but it did not fit.

I have several LL Bean Tankinis and I love them all. Wanted a new one for Hawaii this year. This one is not the same!! Way too tight and accentuates the bulges instead of camouflaging them. Not sure I want to pay the return fee, so I may just be gifting it to someone with less love handles!
