This suit is very well made. That said, I followed the comments and ordered a size up. It was too big, but mostly too long for my torso. I had to return it. Love your products. Will try again.

Nice suit however as with all of LLBean's clothes, you need to be slim and fit in order for the clothes to fit you. I wish they would add some larger sizes. I wear a 14 and the 16 suit did not fit. It was returned.

The majority of the reviews said this item runs small so I ordered a size larger then I normally would. However, it was too large for me. I will return this item. My best bet is being able to try on prior to purchasing ... sorry LL Bean.

I loved the look of this tankini top but the fabric is extremely stiff, cut very small and the bra cups are very stiff and huge and rubbed on my sides. I needed to go up a full size and still the cups rubbed. This suit is cut for a small chested, thin woman, not the average size 55 year old. I ended up returning this.

I tend to wear a small or medium top and size 10 pants. Needed a 14 to be able to pull over my head and not have bulges near my armpits. Love the pattern and wireless shelf bra. The lack of stretch makes it slimming but darn hard to get into and out of.

This tankini top fit nicely. Covered up a multitude of sins! However, I could not get if off!! I was home alone when I tried it on and pulled a muscle under my arm trying to get if off. I tired it on again with someone home and needed assistance getting it off. I can't imagine how hard it would be to remove when it was wet! I have several tankini tops and they are all a little difficult to get off but I can do it. I had to return it. Sorry!

Swim top purchased for exercise. I bought to wear at exercise class - Aqua Fitness

I love the fit! It's very comfortable for water arobics in a pool. After a year it still fits well and is comfortable but the front color has yellowed while the back panel has remained like the original color.

Very difficult to get on and off. Dissatisfied sadly.

I bought my usual size 8 (36B chest, 120 lb) and it took a bit of work to put this on for a try-on so I would say it runs small. There is extra fabric in the chest area that goes diagonally (can see this in the online photos) and that wasn't flattering on me. I'm going to return this top and try a different style.

I'm 5'2' with a very short torso (particularly from shoulder to bust), so I always need fully adjustable straps to make non-petite clothes work for me. I bought this online, and it looked like the straps adjusted all the way, but they only adjust halfway up the back. Which meant that the bust of the top just sagged on me. Loved everything else about this, but there was no way to make this fit. I'd love petite options in swimwear.

I absolutely love the look and feel of this tankini top, but it runs REALLY small. I have been a size 2 most of my life, now that I'm 50 I've gained some weight and am 4 or 6 in most stores. For some reason the smallest size available in swimsuits is a 8, which I ordered in a few different styles thinking it would be way too big. The other items (swim skirt and one piece) fit me perfectly, but the top is too tight around the middle (the whole reason I need the tankini!). I ordered a 10, thinking that should work but also thinking it would be huge- still too tight! No difference between the two. I'm really sad because I love this top but sizing is way off.

The straps are too narrow for good support. They need to be wider

I loved the look of this swim top online, but when it came in the mail, I tried it on and the fit and style was unflattering. I ordered a 12 (usually I wear size 10 or medium clothing). It was too tight. I will be returning it, unfortunately

This size 12 was mislabeled. I tried to order a 14, but the item was not available in that size. I returned it to the store where I purchased a size 12 in a different style that fit perfectly.

The color and style are good but this runs VERY small--I usually wear size 10 in shirts and went up to a 12 as I know swimwear runs small, but this is still WAY too tight to be comfortable.

Elastic on the liner was uncomfortably tight. I returned it.

The bottom fit well but the top was at least one size smaller than it should be.

Love the color of the suit- but there are problems. I ordered the top a size up as a couple reviewers recommended- so 16 instead of 14 for me. So top fit is Ok . Except after getting wet then wearing the top for a couple hours around our pool, I ended up itching terribly along to elastic line for bust support. Either I am allergic to that elastic band , or it was returned after being worn by someone with a skin yeast infection which passed on to me ( I am an RN) So I have ended up using topical fungal infection cream and the itching and redness is slowly subsiding. The bottoms don't feel like they have any decent elastic grip around bum- so different from any other suit I have had, and because there is no grip, bending over, even slightly feels risky . Overall not satisfied and want refund. If I return it, this top should not be resold.

I was disappointed at the fit of this top. I bought three tops, two of one style and on of the style shown; they are all the same size but the fit on this one is very tight and not not very flattering.

Runs very small. I always take a regular 12 in LL Bean bathing suit tops, Not this one! Returned.

I tried 4 different sizes of this top. 12 and 14 were ridiculously small. 16 and 18 were still really tight while the built-in bra was too big. Sent them all back. Too bad as I loved the material and styling, just don't know what body shape they were made for.

I was disappointed with the top. It continuously filled with air and bubbled up in the bust area. It looked like a flotation device.

didn't care for the way the bra area fit and no rubber on the lower like Land's End has on their swim suits

I don't care for metal clips on the shoulder straps or the pleated piece on the front.
