Fits well. Pockets are roomy but not practical. Cargo pockets with at least one deep enough for a cellphone would make this item excellent.

I was so excited to get this skirt, unfortunately, the shorts inside are way to short which made the skirt hang way low on my butt and below my hips. If it would have fit, I know that I would have bought one in each color. I'm only 5 foot 2 and weigh 107 with a long torso.

Planned on returning this skort but was desperate while packing for vacation. I should have trusted my instincts. The skirt portion is fine. Like the length, pockets, color and fabric. The problem is the the shorts underneath, they are extremely short and tight to the point of being painful. They also have a low rise so if you try wear a little higher the back of the skirt bunches up. I typically wear size M/8. I think if I tried sizing up the skirt would be too baggy,

I love the overall look of this skort. But what made me give a rating of "2" is the shorts ride up my legs. Very uncomfortable and defeats the purpose of a skort. I returned it.

Skort ran very large. Had to send back and was charged a return fee. Smaller size was back ordered and was not available in time for vacation travel. Will not be ordering from LL Bean again.

The attached shorts were too small and kept riding up. Wierd bunching occurred where the shorts were attached to the skirt, to the point where I had to smooth out the bunched up fabric every time I stood up. It was ultimately uncomfortable.

I was looking forward to this item and was disappointed. Although the waist / outer portion of the skort was loose, the shorts were too short and the rise was off. I have several skorts from other companies and never experienced this weird combo. Maybe it was a manufacturing issue.

The Vista Camp line has terrible inconsistencies in size. I am a solid size 10 (occasional 8), and the regular VC pant in medium was huge! So I ordered a small in the slim leg VC pant. Oops, too small! Tried first the small and then the medium in the skort. Whoa! The medium would fit perfectly, except that the rise is so short that the waistband doesn't even reach my actual waist (and I am low-waisted). Hip-hugger skort? No thanks! A lot of back-and-forthing over a month to come to this conclusion: two pants and no skort.

I wish LL Bean were more consistent on sizing, especially on bottoms, ie shorts, skirts etc. I had purchased the ripstop pull-on shorts, which I loved! I had hoped this would fit similarly. It was about two sizes smaller plus I did not like the fabric which was stretchy and clingy. When LL Bean it good, it's great - but when it's bad, it's terrible

I purchased both this camp skort and the trail skort. totally different fit and quality. This skort's material is softer, but it's waist is too low for me, and rolls (below my mama belly). The length is a little long for my preference in a casual everyday summer shorts or skirt. The material wrinkles badly and who wants to iron summer wear? To make matters worse, the stitching is already coming apart at the hem. I like the trail version so much better for all the same reasons: higher waist, shorter length, wrinkle tolerant, and bonus side pocket, which I've been using for my phone. The trail skort also has a sweet floral pattern hidden in the zipper lining, that makes me smile.

The skort itself was fine except for the shorts inside. The shorts ride up and it is very uncomfortable.

This is a perfectly functional item and would probably be comfortable but it is kind of dumpy looking and not at all stylsh. Sent it back.

On the upside, this garment is true to size. On the downside, it is VERY short.

I was disappointed in that LL Bean is always my go to brand for casual and outdoor clothing, that is why I was disappointed with stitching on the hem. After a couple of times wearing it, the stitching unraveled.

I loved the skort! The size and comfort were great, and the front zip pockets, plus 2 back pockets, plus inside pocket are all good. The problem is with the stitching on the hem. I exchanged one skort because the stitching on the hem was coming out, and was sent a second one. Within a week or two, the same stitching problem is happening with the second one. Bummer!

I purchased a Trail skort in the past and loved it, decided to get a second one but my size wasn't available so purchased the camp skort. Because I had liked the Trail skort so much I ignored the negative reviews ... bad decision. The length was good, although the material is lighter than the Trail skort it was still ok, it also was a looser fit, almost too loose. The disappointing part was the undershorts were horrible! They are indeed like a pair of very short bicycle shorts, very tight and would ride up into my crotch ... not at all good. I ended up cutting the shorts out, but because of the thin material it's still not perfect. Such a disappointment. I really hope that LLBean will bring back the Trail Skort in a variety of colors.

Skorts in the past were shorts with a front panel making it look like a skirt. This item is basically a short skirt with an attached skin tight panty of a different color and material. The panty tends to roll up into your groin and is nothing you would want seen, so not good for sitting on the ground, etc. It feels more like a swim skirt. So if you are looking for a more modest swim skirt this is a good choice, if you want a fun and versatile skort skip it.

I have 4 LL Bean skorts that I bought ages ago and loved them. I wanted a navy skort and purchase this new style. The material is much too light weight and tends to stick to me and becomes static. I like the shorts underneath the short fabric is light weight and comfortable. The the false zipper flap is a useless accent and the elastic tie is pointless p- better to have a fabric drawing string. The skirt is too large for me but I did not bother returning it. Too much of a hassle. I will give it away to a charity shop. Wish you still make your old style skorts.

I'm only 5'4" but this skort was as short as a swim mini skirt on me. It was a regular size, not petite. The waist was too loose but the legs of the inner short were creeping up just in the amount of time it took to try on. Definitely going to get a refund.

The skirt itself was comfortable and the length I was looking for. However, the pants under the skirt kept riding up to the top of my thighs and ended up being very uncomfortable.

Love this skort EXPECT the very thick seams on the short underneath. They chafed the inside of my thighs terribly. And without the tiny holes in the short fabric underneath skirt it was very HOT. This product is ok for a short period of time but NOT for all day. Would not recommend. Will not buy again. PLEASE bring back the fitness skort for women!! They were perfect!

Camp skort returned. First favorite fit is not MY favorite. Looks like I'm pregnant with a basketball! Second the undershorts are very form fitting and the legs ride up. If I wanted to wear bicycle shorts I'd buy them. Lastly the skort was no longer than mid thigh - exposing nearly all of me as I was seated. Could be cute on tweenager but for mature women above a certain age...not so appealing.
