This skort is sort of disappointing. The shorts part is not at all substantial and is really just like a pair of liner undies that adds a layer between you and the air. Not a fan. I don't feel like it is a very good value, so I am not certain that I will keep it. I can probably find one that is better.

For reference I am a 5'1" 104 lb 55 year old woman. So excited to find an army green skort in a small size but unfortunately, even the smallest size was not small enough so I ended up sending it back and getting a my money back ( minus the six dollars for shipping and handling. LLBean was quick to refund my money. I checked the kids section to see if I could find any shorts that would work for me but no. Such are the fashion woes of smaller sized adults:(

I wanted to love this skort since I am a lover of skorts. The wide elastic waistband was exactly what I was looking for. The fabric was nice and stretchy with mesh type shorts. However, the fabric around the waistline had a weird "bunching" underneath the elastic that made me look like an old lady in elastic waisted pants! The hips and thighs fit nice and snug, but not too tight. However, I just could not convince this skort to make my waistline look anything but frumpy. Perhaps a size XS would have done the trick but I don't really think so. The length was quite long which was nice and modest...but maybe not for super hot weather. I did return it.

Fit and comfort level are great, but after just a few wears/washings, the fabric is pilling and showing unusual signs of wear. As others noted, and I agree, the skort part is too short and rides up. I wonder if that has anything to do with the pilling?

The skirt is great but the shorts under it are made of flimsy fabric that bunches up uncomfortably.

Skirt not as slimming as it look in the photos. I ordered a small and it looked like too much material was in the skirt portion. Not figure flattering. I returned.

I should have believed the other reviewers when they mentioned how the inner shorts don't stay in place. The shorts constantly ride up and are really uncomfortable. This could have been a great item, it's too bad. Should have returned!

I love skorts, but the inside shorts way too short and constantly rides up. Please make the inside longer and I will love this item.

I wish the shorts underneath were longer and had more compression. They ride up.

The pants under the skirt are cheap and ride the legs. Not comfortable.

I love the Vista Camp shorts and capris but the fit of the skort is entirely different. The other reviews are right that the fit is very odd. Had to return it.

I purchased the vista camp skort granite and toasted almond. I like the colors, I like the fabric, I like the style, but it does not fit right and had to return both. The waist is way too low and does not fit correctly. Can't pull it up. Below the waist is not flattering.

The rise of the inside shorts is not long enough to match how the skirt part fits the hips. It would look great if I could pull it up a little higher, but the shorts prevent that. Instead, the skirt bunches up at the hips and doesn't lay properly. I will be returning this.

I like the material and the length, but the under short was very uncomfortable. Had to send it back.

I love the fabric and color of the skort - perfect for the hot weather. The under-shorts are of a very thin material ride up and become very uncomfortable. I am forever yanking the shorts back into place so no longer wear them in public.

I tried the medium and large sizes on in the Freeport store. I wanted to love it but the waist is so low and tight that even if you have a small muffin-top it will hang over the band. Also the shorts underneath were bunch and short. For reference I am 5'9 and 150. I'd say get rid of the shorts and make the waist higher and more comfortable.

Skort ran very large. Had to send back and was charged a return fee. Smaller size was back ordered and was not available in time for vacation travel. Will not be ordering from LL Bean again.

The shorts under the skirt are way too short! The skirt itself is comfortable. I was disappointed to have to return it.

I have four pair of their Vista Camp joggers in Medium. They are perfect. Not even a little too small. These are too tight all around; exchanging size.

The small was too big and I didn't like the style.

I bought these and returned the next day. I live in Skorts all summer. Decided to spend more for LL Bean quality. Skirt itself is cute with several pockets. Do not like a tie in front; it adds bulk to your middle but I could have lived with that. The shorts underneath are an inferior fabric and TOO short. I should have read reviews because apparently a lot of women agree. They are not snug enough and ride up. I ride bikes all the time and realized these would not cover up especially if they ride up.
