The drawstring doesn't work for me. Pants feel too baggy and loose.

I so wanted to love these pants but just couldn't. First off was the horrible smell of them when I opened the bag. I see others have had the same situation so I am not sure what the deal is with them. The waist is too low which made them uncomfortable. The legs are much wider than I expected them to be and did not fall in a flattering manner. They were also too short. I ended up sending them back.

Bought size 10 and 12 and both had a strange fit. The pants look really cute but the fit is puffy in the front because of the pockets and fit strange in the back also. Usually I have no problem with Bean clothes, but these did not fit good at all.

The cut, style and fabric are great. I never wore these pants because after 6 washes the waistband STILL had such a STRONG smell. The choice of such a toxic-smelly elastic must have been a mistake. shame.

I bought there as a 12 petite size not a large regular which is what these are. Also you advertised these as long pants and not capris

What's up with only offering mid-rise? C'mon LLB, you have older women customers that are more comfortable in high-rise for obvious reasons (fuller, rounder). What's up with your design team? I've already returned 2 pairs of Khaki Lakewashed about 2 months ago. If offered in the high-rise cut I'd buy multiples.

I purchased the dark chambray at the store in Brookfield WI. I washed them as directed. Wore them today. Love the style and fit BUT they smell like a strong fabric softener. My skin felt irritated. Is LLBean testing the fabrics they are selling? Why is a new piece of clothing smelling of chemicals? I have asthma so I cannot wear fabric softeners. This item must be returned. What is LLBean doing about this problem?

Smells like Home Depot. Awful and disappointing and makes me wonder where you get clothes from.

These smell awful. I have never had an issue with LL Bean products before but these pants are terrible. Fit is fine, likely need to size up just to get more of a casual look but I will not be exchanging. Buyer beware, whatever chemicals they used on these are extremely strong. Very disappointed.

The chemical odor was so powerful on these pants. What in the world do you spray on them? I returned them!

I am only 5'7 and the longs don't even hit my ankles. What happened to 34 length for the tall women!?

I just ordered these and the length for a size tall is laughable. I'm 5'9" and ordered an 8 Tall. The length hits at the ankle.

These are gorgeous pants. They fit well and are comfortable. However, the chemical smell lingers after repetitive washing. I'm extremely disappointed with LL Bean lately, from quality to returns, this company is most certainly not what it used to be. Please stop selling garbage.

Waayy too big and too long. Fabric was nice. Wish they had my size.

Unfortunately these smell horribly of chemicals. I washed them thinking it would go away. It did not do I wasted $55.

Disappointing. Odd fit. Very long inseam, returned.

I returned them, the cut was poorly done. They looked like I was wearing a diaper.

The pants are far too large, particularly in the legs.
