Bought these shorts in two colors. Nice material, comfortable, good length. I might suggest sizing down because they fit loosely even with adjustable waist.

I love these shorts! If they weren't quite so expensive, I would buy a couple more pairs in more colors. I like a loose fit, so someone else my height and weight might think they are too big.

I love these shorts, they fit me great. I like the longer length. They are my walking shorts of choice. I got them in black and I'll be ordering more colors.

I wear them to physical therapy to rehabilitate from knee replacement and they are comfortable, attractive, lightweight, well I guess I love them.

They are super comfortable. I bought one pair then ordered two more. I wear them all the time. They are light weight. I especially like the waist which is stretchy.

Love these! Nicer than I thought they would be and also the material is very comfortable (snaps for using cotton!) The versatility of making them long or shorter is a plus. They definitely run big, especially the legs. I do not have muscular legs (I do wish!) and these are quite baggy. Sizing down from my normal size did help and I still had room everywhere else. The pockets feel soft inside and are of adequate size! For me, these shorts work worn lower, like a mid-rise style. The rise is not long, but it is not too short (at least for me) either.

They fit well, are comfortable and move with the body. Great for hiking, walking, etc.

I don't usually like "Favorite Fit" pants--prefer them higher waisted--but these are very comfortable. Like that they are cotton, not nylon (don't like feeling like I'm wearing a plastic bag). Also like the elastic waistband. I'm ordering another pair.

This is the 2nd pair I own and I love them. Comfortable, easy to wear, easy to clean.

I love these shorts! They are a nice length, not too short but not too long. They are very comfortable and easy to move in. Also they look great with virtually any top, especially LLBean tees! I have washed them twice in cold water with like colored clothes with no problem. I dry them on very low heat. So far, no shrinkage. I also have them in khaki and love those as well. Mix and match tees with both of these shorts. They do have the elastic waist band which is good but be aware that it does not provide for a sleek look. But the look and feel they do provide is of smooth and comforable movement at all times. I love them.

Bought a pair last year and found them wonderfully comfortable and flattering.Bought another pair in a different color this year, and they fit even better somehow. Love that the back pockets have snaps, and love the roll-em-higher legs. (Have I said the word love too many times?) They do not shrink, either.

I love these shorts. If you want them to be snug, you might buy the extra small, but I like them a little loose. They are cute with t-shirts and very comfortable in the heat and humidity here in Houston. I think they are stylish, as well.

I LOVE THESE SHORTS! After wearing out my old ripstop shorts, I had been hunting around to find an another source. So when I saw that LLB had them I was excited to try them out. And I'm so happy I did because I lovvve them! Bought them in navy, black and dark taupe. They fit true to size, are super comfy to wear and they are light weight to wear on hot Texas summer days. The two side pockets are great too, oh and with the side leg buttons, you can roll them up if you want a shorter look. If your on the fence, buy them, you won't be disappointed. I also bought capris and the pants in the same fabric, love those too, wear them everyday. I will live in these shorts all spring and summer long! Happy customer, please keep them available LLB!

I bought these in a large, but usually I am an extra large. So try a size smaller than what you normally buy. Love the color! It's like a faded red, very beachy! I wish they came in a faded blue, I'd buy them too!

These are very comfortable and fit well. I wore these shorts with professional tops, and blended right into business casual environments, including work. I line dry most things, and these shorts don't wrinkle after wear or wash. I'll be keeping my eyes open for additional colors because you would never believe the waistband is completely elastic by looking in the mirror. Also, the back pockets are deep enough for a phone and the front is roomy enough for keys. The material is airy and cool, even on upper 90 degree days.

I first bought the tangerine/salmon colored shorts and loved them so much I bought the 3 other colors offered. Very comfortable shorts and I really love the material. Live in Tucson and expect to get a lot of wear out of them! Thanks, L.L.Bean!

Really like these shorts. The longer length is perfect, and they are most comfortable. Great casual shorts. Would recommend.

The shorts are comfortable (love the stretch waist), launder very well, look great, and have ample pockets. I bought similar pants for the winter months and loved them too.

Great length and comfortable waist. I have bigger hips and thighs and a smaller waist, and these shorts fit me perfectly. I will be ordering another pair in a different color.

I have large thighs .... they are very flattering. I would probably go down a size if my legs were skinny. A lot of room to move... I'm happy with the cut because I have a hard time finding items that fit my thighs and also have room to walk and bend. Very comfy. Went back and ordered every color, they have a nice "washed" look... perfect for camping and every day wear. I wouldn't wear them if I wanted a more tailored look. Very casual.

Best shorts you'll ever buy! Really. These shorts are so comfortable and fit great. The pockets are deep; don't worry about stuff falling out of them. They look great too.
