I purchased the blue one in 16, my usual size. It was too big. I sent it back for a 14; it's backordered for a long time. I ordered the "boulder" color in 14. It's still a loose fit, but I kept it and love it. I'm hoping to receive the backordered blue one next week.

I like the shorter length and the fabric is so soft. Very nice alternative to jeans.

Love these pants. Comfy, nice fabric, washed well and forgiving for pandemic expanding waste line!! You can dress them up or down. Also bought them in gray.

I purchased these pants in indigo slate and deep olive. I love how they fit and the fabric is very soft. I liked them so much that I ordered the other two colors (rose wash and boulder). I'm a big fan of the Ripstop pull-on capris and pants and the lake washed chinos are a great addition. Very comfortable and I like how they fit right at the ankle. LL Bean: Please make this pant in more colors as I will buy them! Black, Gray and a light blue would be nice!

Love the fabric. For me there is too much fabric in the belly part. I am short waisted to I have to take up the front quite a bit and leave the back the same.

I very much like these chino pants, with one exception, they should be longer. There is no length option in the plus size and unfortunately, they are too short. I love the feel, stretch, and comfort of the material but until a longer length is offered I will not buy again.

I'm delighted to find pants in large sizes for women under 5'5". It's very hard to do; almost every plus-size pants I've found have 31-inch inseams. Where is the logic that all plus-size women are average height or taller? These pants are just the right length for me (5'2", not average weight), are cool and comfortable, and come in an array of colors, not just the usual plus-size tan and gray (news flash: plus-size women like pretty colors, too; we do have taste, JUST LIKE thin people). Another bonus: for these pants, at least, plus sizes are the same price as petite and regular, so we don't have to pay a fat tax. I do find the cut of the pants a little tight around the knee area but otherwise they're a good fit, and I've bought several pairs to see me through summer and fall. Please, please, please, L. L. Bean, keep making these pants in this length and give short, heavy women a reason to live (and be active, so we can keep living).

These pants are comfortable to wear and the pant legs can be easily rolled up for a shorter look. My only issue is the size of the back pocketstoo big/wide so if you cinch the waist smaller, the pockets tends to pouch out. I have an old pair of these pants and they have held up well except the color has faded a bit. The back pockets are smaller on them & look better when the waist is cinched.

I had to return for a smaller size, but then liked them. Choose by hip measurement, not waist. Alas, even with the old perma- press cycle they still need ironing to look their best - but are wearable around the house without.. The pockets are big enough to actually hold something, which is wonderful (why do they make so many women's clothes with no pockets or such tiny ones??).

I bought size2 Regular (not quite 5'4''/110 lbs) and the pants fit very well--not floods as I feared. Good weight for lounging around fromn late spring to autumn.

Almost awesome. Slightly bigger than I'd hoped and I went by measurements and all the recommendations. Got my normal size 6 and should've gotten a 4.

Very comfortable casual pants . Love the material Llbean petites are shorter than most brands even in sleeves but for warmer weather or around the house they are great.

I really like the length of these pants - sometimes petites are still too long for me (5' 2"). My only complaint is that they are cut more narrowly in the seat and thigh than I expected from the description in the catalog/online. I think they could be a little more generously cut - or that the description could state they are slim cut.

A little shorter than I'd imagined, but the fabric is great, buttons for the back pockets and waist, snaps on the side pockets, and squared front pockets (made a bit shallower due to squared stitching). Great fit for my 5'8", big butt body.

These are very comfortable, but too long - had to hem them.

I kept these pants because I was desperate for an international trip. Lightweight, maybe too lightweight, but exceptable. Seems a little expensive for the quality.

5'-1/2", 108 lbs. Size 4P Comfy, casual, nice summer pants. Got several compliments regarding how "comfortable" they look.

I purchased these pants in a 12 petite. I am 5'1" and weigh 158. Overall I like the pants. Since I'm short they fit in between an ankle and full length pants. They are a little wide on the bottom cuff as they would hit most people at the wider part of the calf. It makes them look a little too wide at the bottom of the leg. I think I'll order another pair in regular and just wear them as long pants. Another thing I think is odd is that the rise from crotch to waist is so short. I'm mean, I'm only 5'1". It could be a problem for some taller petites. Possibly could be due to my tummy. Overall the pants are substantial. With a wide, non pinching waistband. Are they stylish? No. Are they are good for everyday living. Yes.
