These shorts are perfect for hiking and walking! The material is soft, the wide waistband is comfortable and both side pockets have zippers!! The length is longer than the running shorts I usually wear but that's exactly what I was looking for. PS- when the weather gets cooler these will be my go to shorts. I'll wear them with a tshirt and a flannel shirt. It's casual but still looks put together.

These shorts are so comfortable, you barely feel them while wearing them! They look great too. With the smart looking elastic waist band, you are assured comfort and you'll look stylish too!

I love everything about these shorts. The fabric is very light, making them very comfortable for hot weather. They have plenty of pockets and the drawstring waist is understanding when I overeat. Worth every penny.

Best shorts for summer out there. They are light weight, dry quickly, and fit well. Add the front zippered side pockets and deep back pockets to carry essentials and you have the perfect casual shorts. I bought two colors and am totally happy with this purchase.

I'm a typical LL Bean medium,so I knew these would fit. They are light weight but tough and take little room in a suitcase. They wash and dry easily, which we needed on a trip to the warm and humid Galapagos . I like this fabric for summer use.

These really are the best shorts I have owned. I will be buying in more colors. Do run slightly large.

I bought these because I liked the pants so much, and love them. They are relaxed and longer (but not too long), and are very lightweight. Perfect for hot days. The elastic waist makes them easy slip on shorts, and they actually look good with a shirt tucked in. Ordered another pair in the toasted almond (the other was the olive green) and it's nice to have a paid of shorts to go with my other colored shirts now (I always buy black or blue shorts)
