Fit perfectly, seem durable for every activity. Quality is a standard I have come to expect.

I've had the full length version for several years so know how well the fabric washes and wears. I put off getting the shorter length because I don't go for the drawstring-at-the-knee look on me. But the long version doesn't stay rolled up and I live in Florida. Hence giving four, not five stars, since the cropped length without the drawstring is a bit uninspiring, but a great length (and fabric weight) for sticky weather.

As I have aged I have been putting on weight and need elasticized waists. This waist is perfect. My only problem is that the tie is also elasticized and it is difficult to keep it tight enough not to roll down when i stand to walk. The pants them selves fit perfectly and are cool to wear. Their breath-ability is wonderful. I love the color.

These crops are comfortable & casual for everyday or travel. I usually machine wash/hang dry at home, & wash in the sink when traveling. They dry quickly. Unfortunately, the material pilled, in the inner thigh area, on my second wearing. The zipper pockets are convenient, although the button pockets could be deeper. The drawstrings (for tightening the leg bottoms) are too long/distracting for my taste, since I prefer a sleeker look, so I seldom use them. My only hesitation in purchasing other colors is the pilling, which is a disappointment, especially at $69.

Super comfy pants. They do run large. I am typically a size 8. Purchased the mediums. They are loose but stay up, so all is good. Love the pockets. The pockets can hold my phone. They are light weight and will be great for humidity of North Carolina.

These pants are so light and comfortable. I bought an XS and they are still alittle too big. Hoping to shrink them in the wash if possible.

Love the fit (bought large so I was sure to have a more relaxed fit). Relaxed but not baggy looking. Want these for gardening during hot MD summers...think the fabric will be perfect! Light with nice stretch. Knocking off one star due to pockets...both the leg and back pockets should be taller to accommodate a cell phone. These pockets are too short. Don't want to carry my phone in the zippered side pockets while gardening (kneeling, bending, carrying plants/bags, etc).

The pockets on the thighs need to be deeper to be of better use. Items can easily fall out. The button on each pocket needs to be replaced by two pieces of Velcro at a third of the opening and two-thirds of the pocket opening, or a zipper. Not a safe place to put a cell phone. The other pockets are not good places for bending and stretching, if a cell phone is in the pocket.
But, they are extremely comfortsble. Just make the above improvements, please.
Thank you,
Connie,

Love the pockets (button + zip) and the drawstrings at the knees were helpful as these were large on me. Only criticism is the fabric tend to pill with minimal routine use (not camping). Also liked the elastic drawstring -- held up the pants (waist again ran large) and still slipped off easily without untying

These have been my go to summer casual pants. I love them and bought another pair before I realized they were PILLING. I have now read other reviews with the same problem. The design is mostly perfect except the material needs to be fixed so it doesn't pill and would also like longer cargo pockets to fit a cellular phone. I've thought about returning but like them too much to go without this summer.

I love the style, fabric and "washability". I am a size 2 petite and these pants are a bit "baggy" on me. It would be great if they came in petite proportions.

Bought an XL, because that is the new L. Too long(short legs) but easy to tack up the excess. Loved the pants. Bought an L. Still too long, and still fits just fine. Comfortable. Scrunches up to a small volume for packing. Dries instantly. Perfect for the in-between shorts and jeans season, or casual out in the summer. Love.

I was looking for a lightweight pant, longer than shorts, but still good for walking when hot. These have met that need and also look good enough for casual gatherings. The tie at the waist is unfortunate, which kept the stars at 4 instead of 5.

Great for hot weather.
Only downside: Contact with rough surfaces can cause pilling.

Great. Only complaint is if you don't get out of dryer immediately they are wrinkled. Didn't notice wrinkling when I was wearing them

I love these. I have two pair. I do wish that you could put your phone in the leg pocket and button it closed. The pocket just isn't big enough. Fix that and it is perfect.

These pants look great and are very comfortable, quick drying and stretchy. I wear them for kayaking and can move and bend easily. Only reason for 4 of 5 rating is they do snag if worn doing something very active. I save the gray pair for kayak and the black for more casual outings. Going to purchase a second black pair for travel. Love the cinching on the sides for another look.

I have purchased a few pairs of both the crop and the long pants and they have quickly become my absolute favorite pants for summer. Light weight and comfortable and the fit is great. The only thing that would make them perfect is if LLBean would stop having scratchy tags sewn into them and many of their other items. I'm always performing minor surgery trying to remove them. If they must have those tags at least have them sewn in loosely so they can be easily removed. I've put small holes in a few of my LLBean items just trying to get the tag offs.

I love the pants, but I wished that it came in lighter colors. It is great for the summer, but all of the colors are dark.

I love Vista Camp pants! I have both the long pants AND capris in 3 colors each. The medium fits me perfectly, and I love the fabric weight and elastic waist. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the drawstring at the waist; I have cut them off and just tied knots. I do like the drawstrings on the pant legs. I feel these are a bit pricey, however, so have only bought them when on sale. It would be nice to have a lighter "stone" color in the capris.

I am hard to fit and have never found quick dry pants that are comfortable. My legs are very short, so I ordered the capris which fit me like long pants (well a little short, but for summer they are fine). The regular pants in this fabric were way too long.

These pants have a lot going for them. They're lightweight, nice colors (I got the black and gray), and the cinched hems are fun and stay put. However, I wish these came in an actual petite. I'm short and, even snugged up, the pants don't seem very cropped. I'm getting around this by folding the hem up a couple of times. But still, it would be better if there was a petite version.

A bit baggie, but I got an XL and perhaps should have exchanged them for a L. Wash like a dream - dry quickly, even when my water bottle leaked all over them on my way to a meeting.

I really like the pants, they are comfortable and light weight. I did have a problem with the material pilling after the first washing. I washed them and hung them to dry, did not put them in the dryer. Also, they tend to wrinkle after being washed. I would buy another pair, but not @ the price of $69.00.
